Abstract

Setiap proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan sesorang anak tidak terlepas dari peran orang tua. Orang tua adalah salah satu faktor yang dapat berpengaruh dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian anak, khususnya anak down syndrome yang mengalami hambatan pada aspek kemandiriannya. Kemandirian merupakan suatu keterampilan yang harus dilakukan secara terus menerus sehingga menjadi suatu kebiasaan dan dapat melakukan sesuatu tanpa adanya bantuan dari orang lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana peran orang tua dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian anak down syndrome di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Negeri Pidie Jaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini merupakan lima orang tua dari anak down syndrome. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah peran orang tua dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian anak down syndrome. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua sudah menjalankan perannya sebagai: 1) teladan, 2) mentor, 3) pemberi penghargaan dan 4) pelatih bagi anak down syndrome.

Abstract

Abstract: This Study aims to describe therapy efforts at the Permata Aceh Mulia Foundation (YPAM) in guiding Special Needs Children. This study is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects are a school principal, two teachers/therapists, and two parents/guardians. The results of the research focus on five main indicators: initial observation, individual learning/handling planning, implementation of individual learning/handling plans, activity implementation monitoring, and final evaluation. Based on the research results, initial observations involving parents and teachers help plan interventions. Teachers develop individual learning plans, involving parents, and implement holistic strategies. The implementation of plans focuses on preparation, training, and ongoing evaluation, with teachers/therapists utilizing technology. Monitoring involves teacher-parent cooperation, logbooks, principal observations, and therapy videos. Final evaluation involves aspects of child development, teacher performance, and parental participation, reflecting positively on the school's reputation. These findings depict a comprehensive approach to supporting SNC in YPAM Early Childhood Education. This research has practical implications in the development of inclusive strategies for special needs children. Conceptually, these findings reinforce the importance of initial observation, individual learning planning, and continuous monitoring.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan upaya terapi di Yayasan Permata Aceh Mulia (YPAM) dalam membimbing Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah seorang kepala sekolah, dua orang guru/terapis dan dua orang wali murid. Hasil penelitian fokus pada lima indikator utama: observasi awal, perencanaan pembelajaran/penanganan individu, pelaksanaan rencana pembelajaran/penanganan individu, monitoring pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi akhir berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan Observasi awal melibatkan orangtua dan guru, membantu merencanakan intervensi. Guru menyusun rencana pembelajaran individu, melibatkan orang tua, dan menerapkan strategi holistik. Pelaksanaan rencana terfokus pada persiapan, pelatihan, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan, dengan guru/terapis melibatkan teknologi. Monitoring melibatkan kerjasama guru-orang tua, buku laporan, observasi kepala sekolah, dan video terapi. Evaluasi akhir melibatkan aspek perkembangan anak, kinerja guru, dan partisipasi orang tua, mencerminkan dampak positif pada reputasi sekolah. Temuan ini menggambarkan pendekatan komprehensif untuk mendukung ABK di PAUD YPAM. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi praktis dalam pengembangan strategi inklusif untuk anak berkebutuhan khusus. Secara konseptual, temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya observasi awal, perencanaan pembelajaran individual, dan monitoring terus-menerus.

Abstract

Learning motivation is an important factor that must be owned by every student so that learning activities can run well and to optimize children's learning motivation it is necessary to have participation shown by parents. The purpose of this study was to describe the participation of parents in motivating children's learning at one of the first high schools or Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Aceh Besar. This research approach is quantitative with descriptive method. The population of this study was all students of one of the first high schools or Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Aceh Besar with a sample of 100 students consisting of grades VII, VIII and XI. Random sampling technique was used as a sampling method. The data collection technique used a non-test instrument in the form of a parental participation scale in motivating children's learning which was designed by the researcher based on the operational definition of the variable. The results of the study illustrate that parental participation in motivating children to learn is in the medium category with a percentage of 81%. This means that parents have participated, but only some parents have motivated their children to learn.

Abstract

Communication helps build strong relationships between students and guidance and counseling teachers so that they can provide confidence in conveying their problems. This research aims to determine the relationship between guidance and counseling teachers' interpersonal communication with students' confidence in presenting problems at Banda Aceh City Public High Schools. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlation research type. The population in this study were students of Banda Aceh City State High School with a sample of 687 students consisting of classes VII-VIII of Banda Aceh State High School 4 and Banda Aceh State High School 16 using the probability sampling method with cluster random sampling technique. Based on the research results, it shows that the degree of relationship (correlation) between the independent variable and the dependent variable is 44.8%, meaning that the interpersonal communication of guidance and counseling teachers at Banda Aceh City State High School has a moderate level relationship with trust in conveying student problems. If interpersonal communication is in the high category, then trust in conveying problems is also in the high category. The interpersonal communication relationship of guidance and counseling teachers has a significant effect on confidence in conveying problems to Banda Aceh City State High School students.Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Trust in Conveying Problems.

Abstract

University students who are beginning to enter the early developmental stage as adults are in the process of being able to respond wisely to negative emotions that interfere with their practical lives. This study aims to identify the tendency of university students to engage in self-harming behaviour. The approach used in this research is quantitative-descriptive. The population of this research is Syiah Kuala University students, and the sampling technique is a cluster. The sample selection considers the faculty with the lowest Institutional Development Contribution (SPI) level at Syiah Kuala University. So, the number of research samples is 348 students. The research data was collected using a scale prepared by considering the items on the NSSI Ideation Questionary (NIQ) Items Within During Ideation Factor (Wilson, 2008) to determine the condition of self-harm tendencies. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that there are 7% of respondents who do not have self-harm tendencies. While 74% of respondents have low levels of self-harm tendencies, and 14% of respondents are at moderate levels. However, it is of concern that there are 6% of respondents who have high and very high levels of self-harm tendencies. To prevent the tendency from increasing and possibly becoming self-harming behaviour, it is necessary to create a basic service program as a prevention effort at the university level

Abstract

Kasus diabetes mellitus semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya di Indonesia. Jika tidak di tangani akan memunculkan komplikasi jangka pendek dan juga jangka Panjang. Peran kader sebagai bagian dari Masyarakat dapat membantu dalam penurunan kadar glukosa darah melalui pemahaman mengelola diabetes sehingga mampu menunrunkan dan mengontrol glukosa dalam darah. Di era digital Pengunaan aplikasi dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dengan akses yang tidak terbatas, disajikan secara interaktif dan menarik. Tujuan pengabdian ini meningkatkan pengetahuan kader dalam menurunkan glukosa darah penderita Diabetes Mellitus. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan media berupa aplikasi digital CERDIK yang dilaksanakan selama 6 bulan. Hasil yang didapatkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan sedang dengan persentase mencapai 53,33 % sebelum penerapan pictorial riddle katagori tinggi setelah penerapan pictorial riddle berbasis digital CERDIK mencapai 66,67%. Penerapan aplikasi membantu dalam peningkatan kognitif, skill bagi kader yang disajian secara menarik, serta dalam bentuk game puzzle, teka teki silang serta pictorial riddle. Diharapakan pusat pelayanan Kesehatan dapat mengembangkan aplikasi lainnya sehingga dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa diabetes mellitus

Abstract

Dalam era digital saat ini, integrasi teknologi dalam pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) menjadi sangat penting untuk mempersiapkan generasi mendatang yang mampu menghadapi tantangan global. Artikel ini membahas penerapan TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge) dalam pengajaran PAUD sebagai upaya untuk mencapai pendidikan yang berkelanjutan dan mendukung tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs) 2030. Dengan menggabungkan pengetahuan teknologi, pedagogi, dan konten, pendidik dapat menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang holistik dan interaktif yang meningkatkan keterlibatan serta pemahaman anak.  Melalui analisis literatur dan studi kasus, artikel ini mengidentifikasi praktik terbaik dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengintegrasikan TPACK di kelas PAUD. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan TPACK tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran, tetapi juga membekali anak-anak dengan keterampilan kritis yang diperlukan untuk berkontribusi dalam mencapai tujuan SDGs, seperti pendidikan berkualitas, kesetaraan gender, dan pengurangan ketidakadilan. Dengan demikian, artikel ini menyarankan pentingnya pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi pendidik PAUD dalam penguasaan TPACK serta kolaborasi antara pemangku kepentingan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan relevansi pendidikan di era digital.

Abstract

The FoMO phenomenon is observed to occur among students who actively use socialmedia. Students who experience FoMO tend to feel worried and anxious if they cannotparticipate in social activities or share their experiences on social media. This study aimsto describe the condition of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) in Syiah Kuala UniversityStudents. The research approach uses descriptive data analysis techniques. Thisresearcher conducted a sampling technique through simple random sampling, whereeach member of the population had the opportunity to be selected as a sample. Thepopulation used in this study were Syiah Kuala University students. The study collecteddata from the USK student data portal which amounted to 23,700 students. The sampleof this study consisted of 394 students. The data collection technique used the Fear ofMissing Out (FoMO) scale. Data analysis techniques were carried out using descriptivestatistics. This study shows that based on the Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) scoreobtained. From these results, it can be concluded that the fear aspect has the highestpercentage (46.99%), followed by anxiety (36.14%), while worry has the lowestpercentage (16.87%). This shows that the majority of students are more likely toexperience FoMO in the form of fear of losing experience or information compared toanxiety or worry. FoMO conditions in the final students of Syiah Kuala University are ata moderate level, indicating the existence of FoMO conditions but not at a high level.
