Abstract

Water is one of the primary needs essential for all living beings. In daily life, water is not only used for drinking but also for bathing, washing clothes, irrigating agricultural fields, and various other activities. However, current water resources, both in terms of quantity and quality, are increasingly unable to meet rising demands. The quality of water for daily use has also deteriorated significantly. The increasing annual demand for water is driven by population growth and the fact that almost every human activity requires water. The diversity of human activities has led to rising water pollution, which is one of the major factors contributing to the decline in the availability of clean water. To address this, a device capable of monitoring water quality is proposed. This tool is equipped with turbidity sensors, DS18B20 temperature sensors, and pH sensors, all controlled by an ESP 32 microcontroller and connected via the Internet of Things (IoT). Through this system, real-time water quality monitoring becomes feasible, enabling more optimal and efficient water utilization.

Abstract

The era of disruption is spurring the digitalization process in various aspects of life and showing the beginning of the democratization of knowledge, which gives individuals the opportunity to be creative and use productive technology. In this era, the pegon script began to be unrecognized by the millennial generation in Indonesia. This research focused on “The existence and implications of learning the yellow book with the Arabic meaning of pegon as preserving the intellectual work of Indonesian ulama in the era of disruption.” A qualitative model with a historical approach was used in this research. The results of this research: (a) the emergence of the era of disruption had a major impact on changes in lifestyle, social patterns, business, and technological digitalization, as well as the world of education. This changing trend demanded effectiveness and efficiency in energy, time, and costs; (b) Implications of learning the yellow book in Islamic boarding schools with the meaning of Pegon Arabic in this era of disruption was very useful and can be used as a means of preserving the intellectual work of Indonesian ulama.

Abstract

Some civilizations consider women second-class human beings compared to men; others view women and men as equal and equal. The first creates a negative stigma for women who are socially active, resulting in restrictions on access to education. The second view gives rise to an excessive attitude that women must be the same as men. This research aims to explore, study, and discuss Islamic views on the position of women. The Islamic view in question was based on the texts of the Al-Qur’an and hadith, in which classical and contemporary Muslim intellectuals gave adequate explanations or interpretations. This study was a type of library research where the researcher used a descriptive-analytical method by adopting Maudlu’i interpretation in the study of the Al-Qur’an and hadith with a hermeneutical approach. The researcher's procedure was to start the study with a historical study of women’s education in various world cultures and civilizations, continue with women’s Islamic perspective, and continue with studies on the position of women in Islam and women’s education from an Islamic perspective. An in-depth analysis of women's education's global relevance and implications was conducted. This research concluded that Islam views women as having the same dignity and worth as men. Many verses of the Al-Qur’an and hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW explain the position of women and that there was no discrimination in them, as well as in matters of education. No verses in the Al-Qur’an or Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW specifically specified education for men only and excluded women.

Abstract

Early childhood is a golden period of development. Early childhood education must be carried out properly and optimally, includes Jum’at prayer education. Parents must understand how to get children do Jum’at prayers. Through behavioral learning theory, parents can easily condition the habit of Jum’at prayers. This study aims to explore in depth how behavioral learning theory influences the habit of Jum’at prayers in early childhood. This study uses a descriptive qualitative design through interview, observation and documentation methods. This study is a behavioral learning theory through stimulus and response can effectively train children to perform Jum’at prayers. This learning theory can also train children's responsibility, discipline, readiness to do something, love for religion and invite children to like to give alms.

Abstract

AbstractChild-rearing in the digital age faces many challenges. One such challenge can be seen in the parenting styles of previous generations, which often carried emotional wounds (inner child) and passed these patterns of care onto children in the digital age. A tendency toward parenting styles that are less reflective of Islamic values and fail to meet children's emotional needs has been identified at KB Aisyiyah and RA Al Islam Karangrejo, Sukodadi, Lamongan. The objective of this service project is to establish positive parenting patterns rooted in Islamic educational philosophy and inner child healing. The methods employed include reflective training and group discussions with parents. The outcomes of the activities demonstrate an enhanced understanding among participants regarding the importance of emotional awareness and Islamic parenting principles such as compassion (rahmah), discipline (ta'dib), and education (tarbiyah). The activity also motivated participants to reflect on their childhood experiences in shaping healthier parenting patterns. These findings indicate that integrating Islamic values with psychological approaches is relevant for fostering a generation that is more balanced spiritually and emotionally. AbstrakPengasuhan anak di era digital menghadapi banyak tantangan. Salah satu tantangan dapat dilihat dari pola asuh orang tua zaman dulu yang menyimpan luka batin (inner child) dan diturunkan pola pengasuhannya tersebut pada anak di era digital. Kecenderungan pola asuh kurang reflektif terhadap nilai-nilai Islam dan belum memenuhi kebutuhan emosional anak teridentifikasi di KB Aisyiyah dan RA Al Islam Karangrejo, Sukodadi, Lamongan. Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu membangun pola asuh positif berbasis filsafat pendidikan Islam dan penyembuhan inner child. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan reflektif, dan diskusi kelompok bersama wali murid. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap pentingnya kesadaran emosional dan prinsip-prinsip pengasuhan Islami seperti rahmah, ta’dib, dan tarbiyah. Kegiatan ini juga memotivasi peserta untuk merefleksikan pengalaman masa kecil mereka dalam membentuk pola asuh yang lebih sehat. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggabungan nilai Islam dan pendekatan psikologis relevan untuk membentuk generasi yang lebih seimbang secara spiritual dan emosional.Kata Kunci: Pola Asuh Positif; Filsafat Pendidikan Islam; Inner Child

Abstract

In the adolescent stage, individuals experience rapid learning and talent development. However, this phase is also often accompanied by poor decision-making due to external influences such as peer pressure and technology. Adolescents who lack parental supervision tend to seek pleasure outside the home and often fall into negative behaviors, including bullying. Bullying is an aggressive act that is carried out continuously with the aim of hurting, oppressing and torturing the victim for the personal satisfaction of the perpetrator without compassion. This phenomenon not only occurs in primary and secondary schools but also in tertiary institutions, making it a serious problem that needs to be addressed. In this context, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has an important role not only as an academic subject but also as a means to shape students' character and morals. PAI can provide moral and ethical values that are important in preventing and reducing cases of bullying in the educational environment. Therefore, the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers is very significant in creating a safe and supportive school environment, where students can develop good character and avoid bullying behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education teachers in the learning process to instill discipline in seventh-grade students at MTs Nusantara Sukolilo. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that Islamic Religious Education teachers apply five main strategies in forming students' disciplined character, namely: (1) habituation, such as performing congregational prayers, attending on time, and obeying school regulations; (2) role models, by consistently demonstrating disciplined behavior in daily life; (3) reward and punishment, through giving awards to disciplined students and educational punishment for those who break the rules; (4) supervision, in the form of teacher control over student behavior both inside and outside the classroom; and (5) motivation, through giving religious advice and encouragement so that students have an internal awareness to be disciplined. Supporting factors for implementing this strategy include sound lesson planning, school support, and parental involvement. Meanwhile, obstacles include negative peer influence, unsupportive family conditions, and low levels of discipline awareness among some students. Therefore, this study concludes that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teacher strategies play a crucial role in developing students' disciplined character. However, for this strategy to be effective and sustainable, consistent teacher involvement and close collaboration between the school, parents, and the students' social environment are required.
