Abstract

Abstract

Head computed tomography (CT) scan is one of the diagnostic procedures that is often used to evaluate the condition of the brain and other head structures. This study aims to analyze the relationship between demographic factors, medical history, and patient perceptions and experiences with anxiety levels during radiological examinations. Using a cross-sectional analytical approach, the study involved 36 patients who were going to undergo a head CT scan. Data collection was carried out through a comprehensive questionnaire covering demographic and psychological aspects using the DASS-21. The results of the study revealed that patient anxiety was significantly related to a history of chronic disease, concerns about the narrow scanner space, distrust of examination technology, lack of information, and fear of radiation exposure. In contrast, factors such as gender, age, and history of trauma did not show significant correlations. In conclusion, radiological examinations often cause patient anxiety due to the characteristics of the narrow scanner and the use of radiation. The level of anxiety is influenced by various personal and medical factors, including medical history, previous experiences, and individual perceptions of the examination procedure. Therefore, educational interventions that increase understanding and relieve patient concerns can be effective in reducing anxiety levels during radiological examinations.

Abstract

This research aims to carry out an in-depth analysis of the effects of herbs on anxiety in psychological cases. In order to address the complex character of anxiety disorders, there is a link between herbal therapies for anxiety in psychological cases and the integration of psychological and herbal viewpoints. Herbal treatments provide supplementary options for modifying neurobiological mechanisms underpinning symptom presentation, whereas psychological therapies focus on the cognitive, emotional, and behavioural elements of anxiety. Bibliometric analysis was done using VOSviewer software, and data was taken from the Scopus database. Data was taken by searching for keywords that were appropriate to this research, namely "herbal,” “anxiety,” and “psychology.”Herbal remedies are a viable means of supplementing psychological therapy and fostering overall well-being while reducing anxiety in psychological problems. In psychological circumstances, the link between herbal therapies for anxiety entails integrating herbal and psychological viewpoints to address the intricate interaction of behavioural, affective, cognitive, and neurobiological components that underlie anxiety disorders. Healthcare professionals should stay up to date on the growing body of research supporting herbal therapies and participate in collaborative decision-making with patients on available treatments, taking into account each patient's unique preferences, values, and cultural beliefs. The research's methodological approach, which combines bibliometric analysis with data retrieved from the Scopus database, offers a methodical and objective way to compile the body of knowledge on herbal remedies for anxiety in psychiatric problems.

Abstract

Despite the joy of being pregnant, some mothers experience anxiety and depression after giving birth. Blues Depression and anxiety throughout pregnancy and after have a significant negative influence on pregnant women's mental health. This research reviewed the available literature. Electronic databases, including Pubmed, Google Scholar, and ProQuest, were used for the searches. Journals containing the terms "Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT)," "Postpartum Blues," "Pregnant Women," and "Pregnancy" were found in the first search. The study's findings indicate that spiritual practices like dhikr and mutual Al-Qur'an, as well as faith-based treatment and spiritual beliefs, have the ability to lessen pregnant women's anxiety and despair.  This study intends to find out if Spiritual EFT could be a useful option for reducing symptoms of postpartum blues, a psychological illness that can impact a woman's emotional health after childbirth. The findings of the study indicate that using this therapy can significantly improve the mental health of expectant mothers.

Abstract

This study aims to provide more in-depth knowledge of the underlying reasons, possible risk factors, and protective variables associated with nomophobia in this demographic group by combining data from various studies. The word “nomophobia” describes a group of actions or symptoms associated with smartphone use. It is considered a contemporary phobia caused by society's interaction with mobile information and communication technology, especially cell phones. Nomophobia, the fear or worry that arises when someone is separated from their smartphone, has become a problem in today's digitally connected culture. This research uses meta-analysis research methods. Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA 2020) were used in this study. Studies published between 2013 and 2023 were the focus of the search. Factors that influence nomophobia include Duration of Smartphone Use, Dependence on Social Media and the Internet, Compulsive and Obsessive Behavior, Social Relationships and Mental Health, Mindfulness, and Demographic Factors such as gender, employment status, parental education, and level of education. The results of this search provide in-depth information about the characteristics and causes of nomophobia, highlighting the need for focused treatment and support networks to address this increasing problem among adolescents. This meta-analysis seeks to close this gap by methodically investigating the elements that lead to adolescent nomophobia.
