Abstract

Kinerja sebuah organisasi dilihat dari efisiensi para anggotanya dalam kinerjanya masing-masing. Sedangkan kinerja para anggota organisasi dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Sedangkan faktor utama dari efektivitas kinerja organisasi dilihat dari pelayanannya dalam interaksinya dengan lingkungan sekitarnya. Karena organisasi yang semakin dapat memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik maka ia akan semakin mendapat penerimaan lingkungannya. Analisis komunikasi organisasi R. Wayne Pace digunakan dalam menganalisis partai politik Islam. Di mana ajaran Islam sebagai landasan utama partai politik Islam telah meliputi berbagai aplikasi dari sistem nilai yang dianut dalam organisasi modern yang berasal dari dunia Barat.

Abstract

Hak-hak anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum secara khusus diatur dalam Undang-Undang No. 11 Tahun 2012 tentang Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak, dan Pedoman Pemberitaan Ramah Anak yang diterbitkan Dewan Pers sebagai panduan bagi wartawan dalam menjalankan peliputan anak. Dewan Pers juga melakukan uji kompetensi bagi wartawan dengan materi uji antara lain pemahaman wartawan dalam menghasilkan karya jurnalistik yang tidak melanggar hak-hak anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana Uji Kompetensi Wartawan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan ketrampilan wartawan dalam menghasilkan karya jurnalistik yang melindungi hak-hak anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum. Pendekatan studi ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif yang dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai informasi terkait dengan permasalahan yang dibahas. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan, pelaksanaan Uji Kompetensi Wartawan menambah pemahaman dan ketrampilan wartawan dalam menghasilkan karya jurnalistik dalam melindungi hak-hak anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum.

Abstract

Abstract

Management strategy is something that will always exist in modern organizations. Communication management is a very important factor as a management tool to achieve its goals. From a communication perspective, various internal organizational factors are closely related to communication factors to become a communication strategy design with the output form being organizational communication design. To achieve organizational goals, communication management is a core element that works to optimize human resources and technology through a communication strategy to improve communication effectiveness. The communication process that takes place will create a two-way dialogue and a positive impression on the organization. Communication management is a core element in management strategy which is a booster factor for organizational performance in order to achieve its goals. Communication management design is comprehensive, covering all internal aspects of the organization and the complex nature of the management system. This natural communication is the optimization of the role to facilitate the relationship between organizational personnel at all levels, to build a supportive environment for the internal development of the organization. Top management's awareness and vision is very important in order to understand that persistence in learning how to communicate should be a top priority for them. When the ability to communicate becomes an organizational culture and a skill that is continually being refined, the goals of the organization will be more open to being achieved.

Abstract

The phenomenon of democratization, civil society and the use of social media in North Sumatra found its momentum in the North Sumatra Gubernatorial Election (Pilkada) 2018. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by presenting descriptive data about the civil society movement that uses social media in the North Sumatra Gubernatorial Election. The results of the research show that the emergence of functional civil society movement has given different colors to local politics in North Sumatra. The movement that served as a means of channeling the community’s aspirations, has become a driving factor for the victory of one of the candidates for North Sumatra governor in 2018. The use of social media as a means of interaction, communication, and information forms a pattern in new social movement.

Abstract

In the mass media coverage of children in conflict with the law, children's rights must be protected. Therefore journalists in producing journalistic works and mass media that disseminate information about children in conflict with the law must keep the identity of the child, both the child as the perpetrator, the child as the victim, and the child as a witness, as well as all information related to the child. In the process of producing journalistic work, a press institution has a flow of copy process which is a mechanism to ensure the fulfillment of checks and balances on the information produced. In addition, there is also a right of reply mechanism in the mass media that regulates if violations occur in journalistic work as mandated in the Press Law and Journalistic Code of Ethics. This mechanism is regulated is nothing but to guarantee the freedom of the press in carrying out the functions of the press which is essential in the life of the nation and state. With this right of reply mechanism, the press that publishes journalistic works that violate the rights of children in conflict with the law, must still be responsible without having to involve aspects of criminal law in it.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between leadership roles and work environment with Organizational Citizenship Behavior at SMK Negeri 1 Air Putih, Batubara Regency. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive and significant relationship between the role of leadership and the work environment with Organizational Citizenship Behavior at SMK Negeri 1 Air Putih, Batubara Regency. The population in this study amounted to 35 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data collection method is the scale of leadership roles, work environment and OCB. Data analysis using multiple regression analysis model. The results of this study are: 1. There is a positive and significant relationship between leadership roles and OCB. This is indicated by the coefficient value of 0.888 with the value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and it is stated that Ha is accepted with a very strong relationship. 2. There is a positive and significant relationship between the work environment and OCB. This is indicated by the coefficient value of 0.929 with the value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and it is stated that Ha is accepted with a very strong relationship. 3. There is a positive and significant relationship between leadership roles and work environment with OCB. This is indicated by the value of the correlation coefficient (R) = 0.952 with a value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and it is stated that Ha is accepted with a very strong relationship. The total effective contribution of leadership roles and work environment with OCB is 90.6% and is declared very strong

Abstract

This research aims to determine the correlation between work motivation and career development on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in employees of PT Anugrah Karya Prima Medan. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive and significant correlation between work motivation and career development on OCB in PT Anugrah Karya Prima Medan employees. The population in this research amounted to 62 people. Sampling technique is to use total sampling. Data collection methods are work motivation, career development, and OCB scales. Data analysis using multiple regression analysis model. The results of this research are: 1. There is a positive and significant correlation between work motivation and career development on OCB. This is indicated by the correlation coefficient (R) = 0.729 with p = 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the results of this research, the proposed hypothesis is accepted. 2. There is a positive and significant correlation between work motivation and OCB in employees of PT Anugrah Karya Prima Medan with the coefficient value obtained is 0.636 with a sig value. 0.000 < 0.05 and the proposed hypothesis is accepted with a strong correlation. 3. There is a positive and significant correlation between career development and OCB for employees of PT Anugrah Karya Prima Medan with the coefficient value obtained is 0.634 with a sig value. 0.000 < 0.05 and the proposed hypothesis is accepted with a strong correlation. The total effective contribution of the two independent variables (work motivation and career development) to OCB is 53.1%.

Abstract

This article aims to find out the meaning of the term moderate Islam as a terminology. The problem is focused on reviewing the language and its history, as well as from the context of the political interests that lie behind it. In order to approach the problem, this article uses a reference to the theory of terminology. The data were collected through a literature review of various similar studies that have been conducted. Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed qualitatively. This study concludes that there is a bias in understanding the terminology of moderate Islam which lies in equating the word "Islam" with the word "ummah", so that the term "ummatan wasatan" is then equated with "moderate Islam". This interpretation bias is strongly influenced by the global political context related to the emergence of the term terrorism and the concept of the global war on terrorism (GWOT) which was coined by the United States during the George W. Bush Junior administration.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the correlation between organizational commitment and organizational culture with Organizational Citizenship Behavior at the Santo Nicholas School Medan. The hypotheses propose that there is a positive and significant correlation between organizational commitment and organizational culture with Organizational Citizenship Behavior on educators and education staff at the Santo Nicholas School Medan. The population in this research are 40 people. The sampling technique is total sampling. Data analysis is using multiple regression analysis. Research results are: 1. There is a significant correlation between organizational commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. This is indicated by the coefficient value of 0.554 with the value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and Ha statement is accepted with correlation is enough. 2. There is a significant correlation between organizational culture and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. This is indicated by the coefficient value of 0.535 with the value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and Ha statement is accepted with correlation is enough. 3. There is a significant correlation between organizational commitment and organizational culture with Organizational Citizenship Behavior. This is indicated by the value of coefficient R = 0.628 with a value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and the Ha statement is accepted with correlation is strong. The total effective contribution of organizational commitment and organizational culture with Organizational Citizenship Behavior is 36.7% and it stated to be low.
