Abstract

Background: School education is a continuation of education in the family. Junior High School students as one of the elements of potential human resources are needed to realize a generation of young achievers. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parental guidance and its effect on student achievement. Method: The research method uses quantitative with correlational research type. Result: The results of product-moment analysis for hypothesis testing in this study can be seen in the appendix. It was found that rcount = 0.752 then consulted with rtable = 0.575 at the 99% significance level with α = 0.01, it can be seen that rcount is greater than rtable. Thus, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This means that there is a significant influence between parental guidance and student learning achievement. Conclusion: The research conclusion reveals that the role of parental guidance has a positive and significant relationship with student learning achievement. Contribution: This research contributes as scientific information for teachers and further researchers regarding the role of parental guidance and its influence on student learning achievement.

Abstract

ABSTRACT“Feminine and Masculine Communication Styles in the 2017 Mars Met Venus Film”. The interesting thing that made the researchers conduct this research was about feminine and masculine communication when in a romantic relationship, and the film Mars Met Venus 2017 raised how the differences in communication between women and men. The 2017 Mars Met Venus film divides the film into two parts, namely "Part Girl" and "Part Boy" to see how each male partner views when communicating using firm and strong language while women speak in a gentle and stereotypical patriarchal tone. The purpose of this study is to find out how feminine and masculine communication styles are in different languages, such as bracelets and waves, as well as emotions and fights in the film Mars Met Venus. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The technique used in this research is content analysis. The findings from this study that can be identified are: feminine and masculine communication styles in different languages, namely: the first scene tells that women use figurative language to express what they feel, while the men in this film speak as they are, but the men try to translate requests hidden and choose to give up to maintain the relationship. Feminine and masculine communication styles in the category of rubber bands and waves, in the next scene shows the approaching period of how a man makes a sign of love then withdraws, then approaches again. When a woman feels loved, her self-esteem fluctuates like a wave. The last scene is about emotions and fights, women and men have different emotional needs, women will provide what is needed by emotions just like men, this makes each individual disappointed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the communication service between Customer Service (CS) and Gojek drivers at the Gojek branch office in Palembang. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using observation, interviews, and documentation involving CS officers, office coordinators, field task forces, and partner drivers. The findings reveal that communication between CS and drivers is effective and fosters a positive working relationship. Through the narrative analysis approach, the interaction reflects an exchange of information that is both technical and emotional. The communication convergence theory shows that CS adapts their language style and communication attitude to be closer to drivers, while the excellent service theory demonstrates politeness, empathy, and responsiveness in handling complaints. The integration of these three perspectives creates humanistic, professional, and solution-oriented communication, enhancing driver satisfaction and loyalty toward the company.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran komunikasi organisasi dalam meningkatkan mutu lembaga pada Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi (L2Dikti) Wilayah II Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. L2Dikti sebagai lembaga pemerintah memiliki fungsi strategis dalam pembinaan, pengawasan, dan fasilitasi mutu perguruan tinggi, sehingga efektivitas komunikasi menjadi faktor penting dalam keberhasilan pelaksanaan kebijakan pendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, serta analisis dokumen institusional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi organisasi di L2Dikti berlangsung melalui pola komunikasi downward, upward, horizontal, dan komunikasi digital. Komunikasi downward digunakan untuk menyampaikan kebijakan dan pedoman teknis, sedangkan upward berfungsi menangkap umpan balik dan kebutuhan perguruan tinggi. Adapun komunikasi horizontal mempermudah koordinasi lintas bidang untuk menjaga konsistensi informasi. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa digitalisasi komunikasi mempercepat layanan, memperkuat responsivitas, serta meningkatkan efektivitas pembinaan mutu. Kendala yang muncul meliputi keterbatasan literasi digital, variasi kapasitas perguruan tinggi, dan perbedaan interpretasi kebijakan. Solusi yang diterapkan mencakup peningkatan kapasitas SDM, forum diskusi internal, serta penguatan mekanisme feedback. Secara keseluruhan, komunikasi organisasi yang efektif terbukti menjadi penggerak utama dalam meningkatkan mutu layanan dan pendampingan perguruan tinggi. Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Organisasi, Mutu Lembaga, L2Dikti Wilayah II.
