Abstract

Achievement is the highest achievement of a series of educational processes taken by students by relying on their intellectual and spiritual abilities. To improve student achievement, teachers can utilize existing technology, including the use of Google Classroom applications. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the Google Classroom application in improving the achievement of high school students. The research method used is descriptive quantitative by conducting field research and data collection techniques by conducting in-depth interviews where researchers ask several questions to class teachers related to existing subjects, learning methods used, then the function of Google Classroom in the learning process, and things that can improve student achievement. The results of this case study explain that the use of Google Classroom applications can improve student achievement, this matter can be seen from the percentage count taken after conducting research. From the research conducted, it can be concluded that this application can be used as a medium for sending the results of assignments given by educators so that it can help improve student achievement. The limitation in this study is that researchers only know the role of Google Classroom applications in improving student achievement in only one school. Researchers hope that further research can conduct more in-depth research related to the role of Google Classroom applications in improving student achievement.

Abstract

Learning effectiveness is the success of teachers and students in achieving learning goals. The existence of effective learning can improve learning outcomes. Physical Education, Sports and Health (PJOK) has an important role in the internalization of character-based education today. The independent curriculum which is currently the trigger demands that teachers must be able to facilitate students in the form of students' character, talents and interests. However, there are several factors that make the talent for playing table tennis among Class VII and IX students at Muqorrobin Islamic Middle School very low, including a lack of knowledge and training to play table tennis properly and correctly. This became the basis for the author to carry out table tennis training for 2 months with good results, namely the students were very happy with this training, those who initially didn't like table tennis became like it and their ability to play table tennis became even better.

Abstract

SLB students, including students with mild special needs, it was found that students had difficulties in mastering basic manipulative movement skills. These obstacles were seen when students did activities that involved interaction with objects, such as throwing, catching, or dribbling the ball. Based on this, this study aimed to produce an effective learning model to develop basic motor skills, such as manipulative, locomotor, and stability movements. This study involved needs analysis, design, trial, revision, and model implementation. The subjects were students with mild mental retardation in SLB, selected based on their motor limitations. Data were collected by observing and measuring motor skills before and after applying the model. The analysis used quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results showed that this model significantly improved students' basic motor skills. This model increased student motivation, participation, and skills by using simple, repetitive, and game-based movements. These findings support the implementation of the Senam Si Buyung-based learning model in SLB as part of the physical education curriculum, providing a positive impact on the physical, social, and emotional development of children with mild mental retardation. This research implies that this learning model provides a comprehensive and applicable framework for teachers to assist students with special needs in optimizing students' movement potential.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the effect of split and skipping training on the speed of Dollyo Chagi kicks in Taekwondo martial arts athletes at the Dojang of SMP PGRI 1 Wajak. This research is an experimental study. The method used involves split and skipping training. The participants in this study were 30 Taekwondo athletes from the Dojang of SMP PGRI 1 Wajak, Malang. The research variable is the speed of the Dollyo Chagi kick in Taekwondo athletes at the same Dojang. Data were collected through treatment-based training sessions with specific instructions. The data analysis included a normality test and a homogeneity test. The normality test showed that the data were normally distributed, allowing the treatment to proceed, while the homogeneity test results indicated that the data were homogeneous. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the t-test value for experimental group 1 (3.760) is greater than the t-table value (2.145), indicating that the alternative hypothesis is accepted. This means that split training has a significant effect on the speed of the Dollyo Chagi kick in Taekwondo athletes at SMP PGRI 1 Wajak. Similarly, the t-test value for experimental group 2 (3.720) is greater than the t-table value (2.145), thus accepting the alternative hypothesis. This indicates that skipping training also has a significant effect on the speed of the Dollyo Chagi kick in the same group of athletes. Based on the data analysis, there was a significant improvement in the experimental groups. The treatment, which was conducted over 12 sessions with a frequency of 3 times per week, contributed to the improvement in Dollyo Chagi kick speed
