Abstract

This study is to see the difference in the influence of providing learning programs that use teaching games for understanding and conventional methods in physical education learning on students' abilities in mastering Object Control. This type of research is quantitative associative with a quasi-experimental approach. The design of this study is a 2x2 factorial design. The population in this study was all students of SDN 52/V Pematang Pauh, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency, Jambi Province, totaling 264 people. Samples were taken using probability sampling, which was divided using simple random sampling totaling 18 male students and 14 female students, then grouped using matching ordinal pairing. The research instrument uses the Test of Gross Motor Skill-2. Data were analyzed by path analysis through 2-path AVAVA testing at α=0.05. The results of hypothesis testing show: (1) There are differences in the level of ability of control objects based on the provision of learning methods where it is found that in the table of hypothesis test results in the method row a significance value of 0.047 is obtained, (2) There are differences in the level of ability of control objects based on sex differences where found in the table of hypothesis test results in the sex row a significance value of 0.002 is obtained, (3) There is no interaction between learning methods and gender in determining the level of ability of control objects where in the table of hypothesis test results in the method row *gender obtained a significance value of 0.740. So it can be concluded that the learning method provided affects the ability of student control objects. The learning method and gender each influence the ability of the object of control but do not affect each other, so it could be that girls and boys with the same method have the same improvement.

Abstract

Training modification is an important strategy in sports training to improve athlete performance, and in the context of football, SSG is one promising method. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Small Sided Games (SSG) training model in improving basic football technique skills in Muspan U-12 Year Football School (SSB) students. This study used a quantitative approach with Quasi-Experimental method, adopting Pre-test Post-test Non-Equivalent Control Group design to measure exercise effectiveness. The sample of this study consisted of SSB Muspan U-12 Year students. Data was collected through tests that measured basic football technical skills, namely passing, dribbling, and shooting. This test is carried out before and after the application of the SSG exercise model, to assess changes in basic engineering skills. The results of the data analysis showed a significant improvement in basic football technical skills after the implementation of SSG training. This is evidenced by the sig (2-tailed) value of the Independent Sample t-Test test which reaches 0.000, far below the threshold of 0.05. These findings confirm that SSG practice is effective in improving basic football technique skills in SSB Muspan U-12 Year students. The conclusions of this study are important for football coaches working with younger age groups, suggesting that exercise modification through the SSG model can be an effective strategy for improving basic technical skills.

Abstract

Proses meningkatkan kemampuan passing merupakan tujuan bagi para pelatih untuk memberikan hasil yang maksimal dalam suatu team. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kekuatan otot lengan dan keseimbangan terhadap kemampuan passing Atas Siswa Ektrakurikuler Bola Voli SMK Modern Ngawi. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan sampel sebanyak 30 anak karena itu disebut populasi sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes, yaitu push-up untuk tes kekuatan otot lengan dan bass test untuk test keseimbangan serta instrumen test Passing atas. Berdasarkan analisis data di dapat bahwa kekuatan otot lengan dan keseimbangan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kemampuan passing atas siswa ektrakurikuler voli Smk Modern Ngawi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) hubungan antara kekuatan otot lengan terhadap kemampuan passing atas R sebesar 0,883 dengan nilai sig. sebesar 0,000, (2) hubungan antara keseimbangan terhadap kemampuan passing atas R sebesar 0,862 dengan nilai sig. sebesar 0,000 dan (4) hubungan antara kekautan otot lengan, dan keseimbangan, terhadap kemampuan passing atas permainan bola voli R sebesar 0,809, R2 sebesar 0,654 dengan nilai sig. sebesar 0,000. Sehingga berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwasannya adanya hubungan yang signifikan dari kekuatan otot lengan dan keseimbangan terhadap kemampuan passing atas pada siswa ektrakurikuler voli SMK Modern Ngawi

Abstract

Improving the movement of basketball under shoot skills has several important component factors that need to be understood, one of which is the length of the legs, the length of the arms, and the explosiveness of the leg muscles. The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between arm length, leg length, and leg muscles on the results of basketball under shoot technique skills in amateur athletes at SMA Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. This type of research is a type of correlation research, and the population in this study is 20. Because the basis for determining the sampling of the researcher uses total sampling, so the samples in this study amounted to 20 samples. The data collection technique uses a measurement test, where in the variables of limb length and arm length use a measuring tape test instrument with a validity value of 0.877 and reliability of 0.786 and on the variable of leg muscles using a vertical jump test instrument. The data analysis technique in this study uses regression analysis and conducts prerequisite tests, linearity tests, and hypothesis tests using the help of SPSS version 26. The results of the study found that there was a significant relationship in all three variables to the results of under shoot basketball skills. Which is the relationship between the legs and legs to the results of under shoot basketball skills with a calculated value of 0.868. Furthermore, there is a relationship between arm length and the result of under shoot basketball skills with a calculated value of 0.650. And there is a relationship between leg muscles and the results of under shoot basketball skills with a calculation value of 0.748. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that limb length is the most important component in order to get maximum results from the under shoot technique. So that this can be used as a reference by coaches so that they can provide the right training treatment to optimize the length of the athlete's limbs in order to obtain the expected achievement

Abstract

Outbound is a training and recreation activity carried out in the field or in the open consisting of various games and challenges, and each game has certain goals. Outbound games are a physical game model that can be used by educators to improve gross motor skills and early childhood courage. This study aims to find out: (1) the effectiveness of Outbound games on improving gross motor development in children aged 5-6 years; (2) the effectiveness of outbound games on increasing courage in children aged 5-6 years. The type of research used in this study is quasi-experimental research with a quantitative approach. In this quasi-experimental research using one group Pretest-postest design, namely by providing outbound play activities to determine gross motor skills and children's courage in completing activities. The population in this study is early childhood in TK Negeri Pembina Tasikmadu Karanganyar with a total of 50 children. The sample in this study was children aged 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina Tasikmadu Karanganyar totaling 30 children. The sampling technique used is convenian sampling, selection of samples that are appropriate to the age of the child to be studied. The instrument used is to measure children's gross motor skills and courage through outbound game activities. The data analysis technique used is SPSS 25. The results showed that: (1) Outbound games have high effectiveness against increasing gross motor development in children aged 5-6 years, as evidenced by n-gain values of 0.76. (2) Outbound games have high effectiveness against increasing courage in children aged 5-6 years high, as evidenced by n-gain values of 0.90. So from the results of the study, it can be concluded that outbound game activities have a significant impact and have a high effectiveness value on gross motor skills and courage of children aged 5-6 years

Abstract

SLB students, including students with mild special needs, it was found that students had difficulties in mastering basic manipulative movement skills. These obstacles were seen when students did activities that involved interaction with objects, such as throwing, catching, or dribbling the ball. Based on this, this study aimed to produce an effective learning model to develop basic motor skills, such as manipulative, locomotor, and stability movements. This study involved needs analysis, design, trial, revision, and model implementation. The subjects were students with mild mental retardation in SLB, selected based on their motor limitations. Data were collected by observing and measuring motor skills before and after applying the model. The analysis used quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results showed that this model significantly improved students' basic motor skills. This model increased student motivation, participation, and skills by using simple, repetitive, and game-based movements. These findings support the implementation of the Senam Si Buyung-based learning model in SLB as part of the physical education curriculum, providing a positive impact on the physical, social, and emotional development of children with mild mental retardation. This research implies that this learning model provides a comprehensive and applicable framework for teachers to assist students with special needs in optimizing students' movement potential.

Abstract

The process of developing the talent of an athlete needs to be carried out from an early age. Therefore, coaches are required to design various training modification media according to age classification. One of them is to utilize technology media based on 3D digital animation video. This research aims to determine the validity and reliability values of the training media and the effectiveness of the training program media named animals, based on 3D digital animation, to improve free throw shooting in amateur class athletes. The population in this study consists of 40 amateur athletes, and the sampling method used is Total Sampling, resulting in a sample size of 40 athletes. In addition, this study involved 7 validators from disciplines that support this research. Before the data was analyzed, preliminary tests were conducted for analysis requirements, namely normality tests and homogeneity tests. Data analysis was performed using t-tests for paired data comparisons using SPSS version 26. The results of this study show that the validity value is 0.864 and the reliability is 0.980 > 0.05. This indicates that the media product for practicing animal names based on 3D digital animation is valid and reliable. In addition, the product's results are effective after being implemented to amateur class athletes, where the effectiveness test using the Paired Sample T-Test found a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000. Based on these research results, it can be concluded that the 3D digital animation-based training media product shows positive, valid, and reliable results. Therefore, this product becomes a solution for coaches in providing training, especially for amateur athletes in executing Free Throw shooting techniques in basketball

Abstract

Modification-based learning is one strategy in an effort to increase interest in learning in students. One of them uses audio visual in learning pencak silat. This research aims to describe the process of improving Pencak Silat learning through audio-visual media in elementary school students. This research is class action research. The subjects in this study were grade IV elementary school students with a total of 31 students. The instrument used is a long jump performance test. The data analysis techniques used in this study are qualitative and quantitative descriptive. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the improvement of step pattern results through audiovisual media in grade IV elementary school students are characterized by an increase in the average grade of students. The average score of students in pre-action activities was 71.60 with a completion percentage of 28.57%. This condition increased the average student's grades in cycle I, which was 74.8, and the percentage of completeness by 61.90%. However, the increase still did not reach the target set earlier. Then after continuing to cycle II, the average grade of the student pattern again increased by 78.47 with a percentage of completion of 95.23%. This shows that the target that has been set before has been achieved so that the research is stopped in cycle II. The process of learning step patterns using an audio-visual approach is dynamic and fun. The ability of student step patterns increased by being marked by all complete learners KKM (Minimum Completion Criteria) which is 75. Keywords: audio-visual, Pencak silat, step patterns, Student

Abstract

Football is a sport that is synonymous with teamwork. The nature of exercise aims to improve the various components that an athlete needs, for example physical exercise, techniques, tactics and achievements. A football athlete is not concerned with psychological factors, in this case the mental psychological factor and the motivation of the athlete. The purpose of this study was to discuss the relationship of motivation and mentality of athletes to achievement.This type of research uses literature studies. The database in this study with article criteria derived from sinta 2-5 indexed journals. The number of articles reviewed in this study totaled 4 articles with characteristics 1). Articles of the last five years, 2). The articles reviewed must be related to the focus of this research. The four articles are attached in table 1. Then the procedures for searching for the articles needed in this study are based on the Google engine: 1). Google schooler and 2). Google Chrome. The analysis of this study focused on the relationship of motivation and mentality of athletes in football achievement. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between mentality and athlete motivation on athlete achievement based on the results of the review. The four articles that were reviewed as a whole had positive results, that the athlete's mentality plays an important role in achieving good performance. The existence of these two psychological factors, helps athletes get maximum achievements. It is concluded that motivation and mentality affect the achievements of athletes which will have an impact on athlete performance, then athletes create maximum achievements.

Abstract

Highland and lowland differences affect environmental adaptation to VO2Max in athletes who train, so it is important to understand this in order to optimize training programs and achieve maximum performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of environmental adaptation for athletes who train in lowland highland areas to VO2Max. This type of research is quantitative research with different types of tests or comparative tests. The population in this study amounted to 1356 male students. The sample in this study was 100 students using purposive sampling techniques. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a difference in VO2Max capacity and lung vital capacity in highland students of Agam Regency with lowland students in Padang City, it can be seen from the posture of highland students having an average height of 163cm while the average lowland is 157cm, and body weight in the highlands has an average amount of 55kg while the lowlands are 51kg,  and the body mass index in the highlands averaged 21.48 while in the lowlands it was 27.38. Based on the results of data processing, it was found 1) there was a significant difference between VO2Max of junior high school students in highland areas and lowland areas p-value (2-tailed) of p=0.026 (<0.05). 2) There is a significant difference between the vital lung capacity of junior high school students in highland areas and lowland areas with p-value (2-tailed) of p=0.000 (<0.05) . It was concluded that VO2Max capacity and lung vital capacity were better in junior high school students living in the highlands than living in the lowlands in large areas with an altitude of 542 meters above undersea level.
