Abstract

This research aimed to describe the form and the level of political participation of the Getasan district community in the election of Semarang Regency in 2015. Data collection techniques were through interviews, observations, and document studies. Sample research amounted to 182 respondents that were taken from 13 villages in the district of Getasan, and each village was taken 14 respondents. While secondary data of literature studies and studies of documents were both derived from the contestants, the general election commission district, the mass media, and other relevant sources. There were two candidates for the regent and vice-regent period 2015-2020; they were Mundjirin with Ngesti Nugraha that supported by three political parties, and the second, Nur Jatmiko with Mas?ud Ridwan that supported by four political parties. The results show that the form of political participation in the community of Getasan in the election year 2015 can be listed into nine activities, such as participation in one of the political parties, the committee of elections, socialization the candidate, campaign, become a victory team participated in the procurement of polling stations, participated in the voting, participated in the security voting in polling stations, and participated in the process calculation of the vote.

Abstract

The researcher analyzed the conflict dynamic framework of religious conflict issues in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in 2014-2017. The research used qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques were primary data through interviews, observations, and secondary data through literature studies. Data analysis included data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results show that the conflict escalation degree in these past three years commonly is at the mass mobilization. Public-influencing religious and social figures successfully de-escalate it. Moreover, structural factors are triggered by education and policy of house of worship building, religious preaching, and exclusiveness. Those are also accelerated by society?s aggressiveness. Actors of conflict, in this case, are probably mass organizations and migrant communities. The related government agencies to resolve the conflict, and active participation from religious leaders, public figures, police, military, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU - General Elections Commission of Indonesia), and Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Bawaslu - Election Supervisory Board of Indonesia) are proven to have capacity to settle the issue.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain an overview of gender equality in the Talent Group Interest (KBM) activities at Satya Wacana Christian University. This research used a qualitative method, where each data is taken from the observation and interviews with the research subject consisting of the Chairman and members of the KBM existing in the University and the validity technique of data using the triangulation of the source and method. The results found in this study were that gender equality and the opportunities that women had in occupying certain positions existed in each KBM were the same and there was no distinction between women and men, especially in terms of leadership. It is explained that anyone can occupy a specific position with conditions and criteria that have been determined and must be able to be accountable to the KBM. It proves that men and women have the same rights to continue to arise and strive for the sake of the KBM. Besides some of the advantages of the KBM if led by women have the opportunity to be more advanced, because women are seen more thoroughly and more attention to detail matters. The weakness that can arise when it is not possible to decline when women are difficult in determining decisions and need support from other members of both men and women to find the solutions.

ABSTRAK AKIBAT HUKUM TERHADAP PENANGGUNG UTANG SEBAGAI JAMINAN PERUSAHAAN YANG DINYATAKAN PAILIT ATAS KREDITUR MENURUT PERATURAN KEPAILITAN (STUDI KASUS PT. JAYA LESTARI)   Mahasiswa* Dosen Pembimbing I** Dosen Pembimbing II***       Pengaturan yang mengatur secara spesifik terhadap kedudukan hukum guarantor dalam kepailitan, terutama guarantor yang telah melepaskan hak-hak istimewanya sebagai Penanggung. Hal ini menimbulkan ketidakpastian hukum, tercermin dalam perbedaan pendapat ahli hukum serta perbedaan penafsiran Hakim terkait kedudukan hukum guarantor. Tujuan analisis yang dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui kedudukan hukum Penjamin yang telah melepaskan hak-hak istimewanya dalam kepailitan serta untuk mengetahui penyelesaian terkait permasalahan hukum dimana Corporate Guarantor dipailitkan terlebih dahulu tanpa dipailitkannya Debitur dalam kaitannya dengan Putusan Mahkamah Agung Nomor 158 K/Pdt.Sus Pailit/2014 Tahun 2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian hukum normatif yang menggunakan bahan pustaka atau data sekunder, yang terdiri dari bahan hukum primer, bahan hukum sekunder dan bahan hukum tersier. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui penelusuran dokumen-dokumen maupun buku ilmiah untuk mendapatkan landasan teoritis berupa bahan hukum positif yang sesuai dengan objek yang akan diteliti. Alat pengumpulan data yang dipergunakan berupa dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang dipakai adalah teknik analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaturan yang berlaku saat ini juga memungkinkan bagi guarantor untuk dipailitkan tanpa dipailitkannya Terjamin atau Debitur-utama. Sebagai studi kasus, dalam skripsi ini diteliti perkara kepailitan PT. Jaya Lestari yang dinyatakan pailit dalam kedudukan hukumnya sebagai guarantor.

Abstract

Education has the potential to increase human resources. In this case, students from Papua are attempting to improve their quality of life by furthering their education in the Java city of Salatiga. However, efforts to continue education were hampered by social discrimination, particularly in selecting a house in Salatiga. This paper aims to identify Papuan student stereotypes that lead to the boarding house. This study uses qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach, with primary data gathered through interviews and observations of Papuan and West Papuan students, and secondary data collected through library research. The findings revealed four stereotypes that contributed to Papuan students' rejection in Salatiga. Both Papuan students and Salatiga people contribute to these stereotypes through a lack of recognition, communication, language, and cultural adaptation. Prejudice, as well as structural and cultural violence, result from this. As a result, stakeholders must actively participate in conflict resolution efforts through peacebuilding and peacemaking.

Abstract

Keterampilan yang harus dimiliki mahasiswa adalah mampu mengkomunikasikan informasi ilmiah yang relevan dengan berbagai pemikiran dan penelitian yang bermanfaat bukan saja untuk diri sendiri, melainkan juga bermanfaat untuk masyarakat luas yang dapat dilakukan mmelalui publikasi ilmiah. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu memberikan pelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah yang baik dan bagaimana cara untuk mempublikasikan artikel ke jurnal-jurnal nasional. Selain itu, melalui pelatihan ini, mahasiswa diharapkan mampu mengenali jurnal-jurnal predator yang pada akhirnya akan merugikan mahasiswa PPKn. Target khusus yang dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah keterampilan dalam membuat jurnal dan memilih jurnal terakreditasi bebas predator. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah publikasi ilmiah Jurnal Nasional. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dalam pencapaian tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah dengan melakukan Pemberian informasi, Pelatihan pembuatan jurnal, penggunaan aplikasi Mendeley serta evaluasi pelaksanaan pelatihan.

Abstract

AbstrakTeknologi di era yang serba digital harus bisa memberikan makna dan manfaat di bidang pendidikan. Pengembangan tersebut dilakukan dengan adanya aplikasi baru maupun platform tertentu sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih efektif dan inovatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa mengenai pembelajaran serta dampak pendidikan berbasis teknologi di FKIP dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan UKSW dengan mengambil subjek penelitian dari 7 Program Studi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pengambilan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 86% setuju dengan penggunaan pendidikan berbasis teknologi dikarenakan adanya pendidikan berbasis teknologi di FKIP memberikan kebermaknaan bagi mahasiswa yang merupakan generasi milenial serta mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam penggunaan sarana-sarana pendukung lainnya. Kelemahan dari pendidikan berbasis teknologi ini dinilai memunculkan pemahaman ganda atas materi yang diberikan oleh dosen serta jaringan internet yang belum merata dalam mengakses aplikasi berbasis teknologi.Kata kunci : mahasiswa, pendidikan, teknologi

Abstract

Being creative and having good character is the goal of education in Indonesia. The COVID-19 pandemic has become a challenge in achieving this goal. Since the learning process is carried out online. Teachers have difficulty in planning and implementing the lesson. It is because not all teachers have ability to use technology appropriately. Thus, the learning process is not as expected. This causes boredom in the learning process. Therefore, an appropriate online learning design is needed. In this case, the online learning that provides opportunities for students to develop critical, creative, meaningful thinking skills in fun and challenging ways. One of them is online learning design based on 3CM (Cool-Critical-Creative-Meaningful) learning. The research design used in the present research is descriptive qualitative and RnD (ASSURE model) with the output of the initial data analysis related to the perceptions of school principals, teachers, students and parents about online learning. Questionnaires, online interviews and online FGDs are applied to obtain the qualitative data. Data related to the development of learning activities can be seen from the design development process with the ASSURE model. The results obtained are 89.7% of the 271 teachers that use WhatsApp in the learning process. This causes boredom in learning process so that 72.12% of 271 teachers want to go back to school. The scores result of development of online learning design based on 3CM learning from the aspect of easy access to learning is 4.48 (very good), the content aspect, media and teaching materials is 4.57 (very good) from the assessment of 45 elementary school teachers. The score of student responses to the aspect of easy access to learning is 4.72 (very good), the score of the aspect of content (content), media and teaching materials is 4.72 (very good). To foster creativity and good character, online learning activities are carried out in 4 activities, namely 1) time to play and try challenges (cool), 2) time to criticize (critical), 3) time to be creative (creative), 4) time to reflect and find the meaning (meaningful).

Abstract

The first-time voters represent the young generation who are exercising their right to vote for the first time. Given their substantial numbers, particular attention needs to be devoted to them in the upcoming 2024 general elections. This endeavour aims to provide socialization on the electoral process for the 2024 General Elections to first-time voters within the University, Church Youth, and community settings. The dissemination of information will be conducted through interactive activities, discussions, and the provision of easily comprehensible and relevant information. Additionally, this research will encompass assistance in verifying the Permanent Voter List (DPT) to ensure that first-time voters are correctly registered and can exercise their voting rights accurately in the forthcoming elections. Through these efforts, first-time voters will gain a deeper understanding of the significance of participating in the democratic process and will be equipped with adequate knowledge about the electoral procedures, thus enabling them to make informed decisions concerning the nation's future.

Abstract

Pandemi dan pembelajaran daring sangat berdampak sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan sosial. Perubahan tersebut meliputi perubahan sikap, perilaku, dan karakter siswa/i maupun sistem pada lembaga pendidikan dalam hal ini berkaitan dengan pembelajaran dan penggunaan media pembelajaran. Tidak hanya penyampaian materi saja yang terganggu melainkan penanaman nilai karakter pun terhambat. Oleh karena itu melalu penelitan ini digunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yaitu dengan wawancara dan kuesioner. Dalam penelitian ditemukan bahwa pendidikan karakter maupun karakter siswa saat sangat memprihatinkan. Sebagian besar sekolah dan guru belum siap dalam menghadapi perubahan sosial serta penggunaan media pembelajaran modern sebagai upaya pemanfaatan kemajuan teknologi. Maka dari itu, dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan dapat ditemukan solusi-solusi yang tepat serta mencegah mencegah dampak negatif yang lebih besar dari terhambatnya pendidikan karakter selama pembelajaran daring ini yang bisa memicu maraknya kenakalan remaja.
