Abstract

Forming a mathematical model of a series electrical circuit with a nonlinear inductor obtained based on Kirchoff's laws one and two takes the form of a nonlinear differential equation. Approach methods are used to determine the electric current in the circuit, including the Reversion Method, namely by converting nonlinear differential equations into a system of linear differential equations.

Abstract

This study explores the role of social media content—particularly YouTube Shorts—on the Tanduria channel in promoting agriculture among Generation Z. Given Indonesia's status as an agricultural nation, concerns about the lack of farmer regeneration, especially among youth, have become increasingly urgent. This study aims to understand how digital communication strategies can enhance interest in agriculture within this demographic. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through interviews, content analysis, and literature review. The findings reveal that Tanduria successfully engages Gen Z by using informal and relatable language, branding itself with the urban farming concept, and presenting practical, informative, and entertaining short videos. The channel also integrates commercial elements such as product promotions without disrupting educational value. Communication strategies such as personal greetings, humorous tones, and culturally resonant jargon contribute to high engagement. Moreover, the use of real-life demonstrations and DIY tips adds authenticity and practicality, aligning with Gen Z’s preferences for accessible and action-oriented content. This research concludes that social media, especially short video platforms, can serve as an effective medium to bridge the gap between agriculture and younger generations. The study contributes to the discourse on digital communication for agricultural promotion, offering insights for stakeholders aiming to attract youth involvement in this sector.

Abstract

Abstract

This study was aimed to improve the learning process at school through ethnomathematics culture-based learning, namely the Panjalin traditional house. The purpose of this study was to explore the culture of Panjalin society as a medium for learning mathematics. Through culture-based learning, students were expected to improve their mathematics learning outcomes. The results showed that there were mathematical concepts and activities in the Panjalin traditional house. Students should learn the theories about mathematical concepts and know their application. The result of the study was aimed to examine the aspects of mathematics in the Panjalin traditional house and its relationship with mathematics learning at schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in students' mathematical communication and resilience skills between conventional learning and reciprocal teaching assisted by Wordwall. The study was conducted due to the limited research combining the reciprocal teaching method with interactive media to improve students' communication skills and resilience. The research population consist of eighth-grade students at a junior high school in Cirebon Regency, with samples taken using purposive sampling. The samples taken from classes VIII B and E, totaling 65 students. Using a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest control group design and instruments in the form of tests and questionnaires, the results showed that the average posttest score for mathematical communication in the experimental class was 75.27, higher than the control class, which was 31.25. Conversely, the posttest score for mathematical resilience in the control class was 81.50, higher than that of the experimental class, which was 74.03. These findings indicate that the integration of reciprocal teaching and Wordwall has the potential to improve students' mathematical communication, although further research is needed to identify effective strategies for maintaining students' resilience.
