Abstract

Environmental issues are indeed a global conversation. In the Asian region, environmental issues are a priority in various countries. One of the countries in Asia that is concerned with environmental issues is Indonesia. Indonesia as a developing country considers environmental issues to be very important, why is it important because it is part of the welfare of the community in accordance with the mandate of the 1945 Constitution. The existence of a female leader, is she capable of her feminine instincts to make important decisions through her programs as a leader in dealing with poverty problems? Absolutely, the issue of poverty will have a lot of impact on women themselves, for example because of poverty, often the case of mothers who die when giving birth to their babies because of very minimal health workers. The presence of female leaders gives a lot of hope in development in Indonesia, especially in disadvantaged areas. Women leaders are expected to be able to contribute greatly in reducing and alleviating poverty in Indonesia. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach; the location of this study was in a disadvantaged area, Lebak District, Banten Province.

Abstract

This article analyzes the Gender Blind Policy phenomenon in the “Sekolah Ibu Program” in Bogor City, Indonesia. This article aims to see whether there are gender gaps or inequality in the “Sekolah Ibu Program”. The “Sekolah Ibu Program” was created to reduce the divorce rate in Bogor City, Indonesia. The divorce trend in Bogor City has increased in the last three years. Therefore, the Bogor City government created a program to suppress divorce cases. In the “Sekolah Ibu Program”, there are learning modules such as parenting patterns, family health, family resilience, and others, so women are expected to have more knowledge about family resilience. The method used by the author in this research is Cresswell's qualitative case study approach. The author uses Naila Kabeer's Gender Blind Policy theory, which uses four indicators to determine the phenomenon in the program: participation, benefits, control, and access. These four indicators used to see the inequality and the gender gap in this program. The result shows that there is still a gender gap, such as what occurs in the “Sekolah Ibu Program”, where there are still limitations between women and their participation in the program.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the high unemployment rate in Karawang Regency, which is higher than the national unemployment rate of 5%, dominated by the local workforce. This condition contradicts the image of Karawang Regency as the area with the most significant industrial area in Southeast Asia. This problem impacts the massive flow of urbanization into Karawang Regency and is exacerbated by discriminatory recruitment of the local workforce. This writing aims to analyze the current achievements of the collaborative governance of the Karawang Regency government together with APINDO (Indonesian Entrepreneurs Association), KADIN (Indonesian Chamber of Commerce), and the community in administering employment. This research uses the collaborative governance theory (Ansell & Gash, 2007), which focuses on Intermediate Outcomes. The results of the study show that the achievements of collaboration in organizing employment in Karawang Regency in the form of apprenticeships have not been able to reduce the high unemployment rate, improve community welfare, and provide guaranteed security for workers with low incomes below the district minimum wage, weak bargaining power of workers, and prone to violations in practice.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the decline in the school participation rate (APS) in Serang City, which based on data of 1,157 children in 2024 increased drastically from the previous year. This problem is caused by economic conditions, bullying, low motivation of children to attend school, and internal stigma of families, as well as other external factors. The surge in the number of children not attending school has encouraged the government to accelerate efforts to encourage school participation through the Aje Kendor Program. The purpose of this study is to capture how the government's efforts through the Aje Kendor Program are able to return children not attending school, which is analyzed using the theory of public service innovation. This research uses qualitative methods, with a research focus on elementary and junior high school education levels. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, documentation and literature studies. Data validation techniques were carried out through source triangulation. The results of the study show that the Aje Kendor program is quite optimal based on 1) Organizational and process innovation, there has been cross-sectoral collaboration that encourages the achievement of program objectives, through comprehensive and rapid process innovation using integrated technology from the grassroots level to ensure targeting. 2) Product innovation is manifested in program flexibility, which is able to assess the target's conditions in terms of time, territory, interests, needs, and even psychological well-being. 3) Paradigm innovation is evident in the participation and contribution of all actors in supporting program implementation, including budgeting, regulations, and implementation. The government's commitment is also evident in the program's inclusion in regional development plans.
