Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of training and competency on employee performance at the Education and Culture Agency of Sumbawa District, either partially or simultaneously. The type of this study was associative. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data in the form of scores from respondents' answers to questions given through a questionnaire. The population in this study was all employees at the Sumbawa Regency Education and Culture Service, totaling 50 people. Seeing that the population in this study is relatively small, less than 100 people, this study used a census sampling technique (saturated sample), which is a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. Statistical tests in this research were carried out using the Stata application (Statistics and Data) to assist with data processing. The Stata output will then be studied using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, partial hypothesis testing (t test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F test), and determinant coefficient test (R2). The results of this study showed that the training and competency had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the the Education and Culture Agency of Sumbawa District, either partially and simultaneously. The training and competency had quite a large ability to effect on employee performance variables at the Education and Culture Agency of Sumbawa District, namely 40%, while the remaining 60% was effected by other variables outside this study model, such as the work motivation, incentives, and organizational culture.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of brand ambassador and electronic word of mouth (e-WoM) on influenceting interest in buying MS. Glow Men products in Sumbawa Besar. The type of this study was causal associative study which is used to examine the effect of brand ambassadors and Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WoM) on interest in buying MS. Glow Men products in Sumbawa Besar. The type of data used in this study was quantitative data obtained directly from respondents using a questionnaire. The respondents in this study were all 50 customers who had buyed MS Glow Men skincare in Sumbawa Besar. The sample determination in this study was based on a non-probability sampling technique using the accidental sampling method. The all of data used in this study was processed using the SPSS program, to be studied and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, partial hypothesis testing (t test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F test), and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results of this study showed that brand ambassadors and Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WoM) had a positive and significant effect on interest in buying MS. Glow Men product in Sumbawa Besar, either partially and simultaneously. The ability of the brand ambassador and Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WoM) variables to explain variations in changes in the variable interest in buying MS. Glow Men product in Sumbawa Besar was 16.5%, while the remaining of 83.5% was effected by other factors outside this research model, such as perceived convenience, promotion and price.

Abstract

Abstrak: Loyalitas kerja merupakan salah satu sikap yang dapat menjadi indikator baik atau tidaknya kinerja guru. Beberapa faktor yang menjadi dasar tumbuhnya loyalitas kerja adalah lingkungan dan beban kerja yang diemban. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh beban kerja dan lingkungan kerja secara mandiri maupun secara simultan terhadap loyalitas kerja guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP dengan sampel jenuh sebesar 65 orang guru. Metode penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan survey kausal dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian in adalah (1) Beban kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas kerja guru yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,590, dimana beban kerja memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan loyalitas kerja guru sebesar 34,85%; (2) Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas kerja guru yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,455, dimana lingkungan kerja memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan loyalitas kerja guru sebesar 20,70%; dan (3) Beban kerja dan lingkungan kerja secara simultan berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas kerja guru yang ditunjukkan oleh koefisien korelasi ganda sebesar 0,635, dimana beban kerja dan lingkungan kerja secara simultan memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan loyalitas kerja sebesar 40,40%.Abstract: Work loyalty is an attitude that can be an indicator of whether a teacher's performance is good or not. Several factors that are the basis for the growth of work loyalty are the environment and the workload carried out. This research aims to analyze and determine whether or not there is an influence of workload and work environment independently or simultaneously on teacher work loyalty. This research was conducted in junior high schools with a saturated sample of 65 teachers. The research method is quantitative with a causal survey with data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis uses correlation and multiple linear regression. The results of this research are (1) Workload has a positive effect on teacher work loyalty as indicated by a correlation coefficient value of 0.590, where workload contributes to increasing teacher work loyalty by 34.85%; (2) The work environment has a positive effect on teacher work loyalty. indicated by a correlation coefficient value of 0.455, where the work environment contributes to increasing teacher work loyalty by 20.70%; and (3) Work load and work environment simultaneously have a positive effect on teacher work loyalty as indicated by a double correlation coefficient of 0.635, where workload and work environment simultaneously contribute to increasing work loyalty by 40.40%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development strategy for the tourism potential of Jemplung Beach as a leading tourist destination in Sumbawa District. The type of this study was descriptive with a qualitative approach. The type of data used in this study was qualitative data obtained directly from primary sources. The determination of informants in this study was carried out using purposive sampling techniques with the consideration that they know and have various basic information needed in this study. Based on these considerations, the informants in this study numbered 15 people consisting of Village Heads, Tourism Attraction Managers, Local Residents, and Visitors. The collected data was analyzed descriptively using the SWOT analysis model to formulate alternative development strategies based on internal and external conditions at the Jemplung Beach tourist attraction in Sumbawa District. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, four alternative strategies were obtained in developing the tourism potential of Jemplung Beach as a leading tourist destination in Sumbawa District, namely the S-O strategy, S-T strategy, W-O strategy, and W-T strategy. S-O strategy, S-T strategy, W-O strategy, and W-T strategy. In general, in formulating tourism object development planning, it should be done by considering the potential and capacity of the local community. This aims to increase local community participation. Thus, local communities can become the main actors in various tourism activities so that they can directly feel the benefits of the existence of tourism objects in the form of increasing income and welfare.

Abstract

The Online Population Administration Service System is a system whose service process is carried out in the local village which includes Population Biodata Recording Services, Family Card Issuance Services, Moving In and Out Information Issuance Services, Birth Certificate Issuance Services, Death Certificate Issuance Services, Marriage Certificate Issuance Services, Divorce Certificate Issuance Services, Child Recognition and Validation Certificate Issuance Services, Citizenship Change Certificate Issuance Services, Marriage Cancellation Certificate Issuance Services, Residence Certificate Issuance Services. Many people in the villages do not yet know about the online services provided by the Population and Civil Registration Service of Sumbawa Regency, so many people still come to the office to take care of population documents. This is due to the lack of socialization carried out by the Village regarding the Online Services of the Population and Civil Registration Service of Sumbawa Regency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Implementation of the Online Population Administration Service System. The quantitative associative research method was used in this study, the technical data analysis in this study used the Method of Successive (MSI). The results of the study show that the implementation of SILAMO makes it easier for the public to access population administration services anytime and anywhere, without having to come to a government office. This makes it very easy, saves time, and reduces transportation costs. The government can more easily provide information quickly and efficiently, and speed up the service process to the public.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze motivation and work period in improving work productivity of employees at UD. Fajar Samudra, Sumbawa District. The type of this study was associative research which aims to examine the effect of work motivation (X1) and work period (X2) on work productivity of employees at UD. Fajar Samudra, Sumbawa District (Y). The type of this study was associative research. The type of data used was quantitative data collected directly by researchers from research respondents using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The respondents in this study were 40 employees of UD. Fajar Samudra, Sumbawa Regency, who were selected using saturated sampling techniques or census sampling. The data analysis tools using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F-test), and coefficient of determination testing (R2). The results of this study showed that work motivation (X1) and work period (X2) had a positive and significant effect on work productivity of employees at UD. Fajar Samudra, Sumbawa District (Y), both partially and simultaneously. The percentage contribution of work motivation and work period in effecting work productivity of employees at UD. Fajar Samudra, Sumbawa District was 88.5%, while the remaining of 11.5% was effected by other variables not examined in this study, such as education level, skills, discipline, attitude, work ethic, salary, health, technology, management, and opportunities for achievement.

Abstract

The use of digital marketing is an efficient means to open new marketing channels for MSME products. The purpose of this study is to fill the gap in previous research by analyzing the impact of digital marketing on the income of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Sumbawa Regency. This type of research is a comparative study with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques through questionnaires and documentation. The number of samples in this study was 30 MSME samples that used digital marketing media and 30 MSME samples that did not use digital marketing. The results of the Kolmogorov Test stated that the data was normally distributed. The results of the study showed that there was a difference in average income between MSMEs that used digital marketing and MSMEs that did not use digital marketing. The results of this study prove that product marketing using digital marketing has an impact on increasing MSME income in Sumbawa Regency

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada pelaku UMKM di Kecamatan Sumbawa tentang pentingnya kemampuan inovasi dan orientasi pasar dalam meningkatkan daya saing. Metode kegiatan ini melalui wawancara langsung kepada responden. Populasi dalam kegiatan ini adalah seluruh UMKM yang beroperasi di Kecamatan Sumbawa, dengan Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui daftar wawancara terstuktur kepada responden. Daftar wawancara tersebut meliputi identifikasi dari variabel penelitian di antaranya kemampuan inovasi dan orientasi pasar. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan serta informasi yang luas tentang penguatan keunggulan bersaing melalui kemampuan inovasi dan orientasi pasar. Khususnya pelaku UMKM agar lebih fokus dalam megembangkan strategi pemasaran melalui peningkatan inovasi dan orientasi pasar serta memahamai kebutuhan pasar untuk memperkuat daya saing mereka di perubahandinamika lingkungan bisnis di era digital.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat didasarkan pada fakta relatif masih rendahnya tingkat kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat Indonesia tentang konsep bangunan berkelanjutan. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan mahasiswa dan praktisi konstruksi tentang teknologi bahan bangunan berkelanjutan dan pemanfaatan energi terbarukan dalam konstruksi bangunan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada hari Jum’at, 18 April 2025 di Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Samawa, Sumbawa Besar. Adapun peserta kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa dan praktisi konstruksi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi komprehensif, tim pelaksana memberikan edukasi tentang material ramah lingkungan, teknik konstruksi berkelanjutan, dan implementasi sistem energi terbarukan untuk menciptakan bangunan yang efisien energi dan ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi interaktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta tentang konsep bangunan berkelanjutan dan komitmen untuk mengimplementasikan teknologi ramah lingkungan dalam proyek konstruksi.

Abstract

This study aims to know the role of information communication and technology (ICT) based marketing strategy on increasing sales of SME products in Sumbawa District. The type of this study was associative study aimed to examine the effect of information communication and technology (ICT) based marketing strategy on increasing SME product sales in Sumbawa District. The type of data used in this study was quantitative obtained directly from primary sources using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Respondents in this study were 85 MSME actors in Sumbawa District. Determination of respondents in this study using probability sampling techniques with the simple random sampling method. The data processing tool used the SPSS version 16.0 for Windows application to be analyzed using simple linear regression analysis techniques, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), and coefficient of determination testing (R2). The results of this study showed that ICT-based marketing strategies had a positive and significant effect on sales of SME products in Sumbawa District. The ability of the ICT-based marketing strategies to effect on sales of SME products in Sumbawa District was 73.6%, while the remaining of 26.4% was effected by other factors not examined in this study, such as price, promotion, product and service.
