Abstract

Public healthcare is a health service facility from the government at a low cost. The problem is the long queue, which makes long patients’ waiting times. The patients are waiting for a maximum of more than 3 hours in the general polyclinic. Besides, the registration counter is almost busy all the time. The utilization is about 96.96%. Therefore, the objective of this research is to reduce the patients’ waiting time using the simulation method. Flexsim 6.0 software is employed to develop the public healthcare system and also develop some alternatives to improve the problem. The simulation model has been verified and validated. The result shows the waiting time is decreased by more than 80% by adding the resource in the registration counter. For managerial insight, this research could help the public healthcare system in satisfying the patients.

Abstract

t: This research was conducted to examine how the role of the people of Marengan Laok Villagein producing salt for their welfare. If you look at Madura Island, the biggest potential for producing salt isin Sumenep Regency, namely in Kalianget District. Therefore, I took this research in Marengan LaokVillage, Kec. Kalianget to make research easier.This research is focused on the contract agreement made by the land owner (tambak) and the land worker(tambak). This study also uses qualitative methods by means of observation, documentation and directinterviews with the people in Marengan Laok Village. While the data analysis in this study usesdescriptive and introspective analysis of all forms of human consciousness and experience in terms of sensory,conceptual, moral, aesthetic, religious and economic aspects. Abstract

This research aims to improve student's learning activities and outcomes through theapplication of the Differentiated Learning Model using the based Learning method and throughdiscussion. The research will be carried out in two cycles and involves 18 students of class X TKJat SMK Putra Bangsa 01 Cibening. The data used in this study were obtained from the observationof teachers and students as sources of information, which included quantitative and qualitativedata. To see teacher activities and student activities, researchers observed and recorded them onobservation sheets. In addition, data regarding student learning progress was obtained throughwritten tests, such as evaluation of learner work (LKPD) and final evaluation (individualassignment). The results showed that differentiated learning has a positive impact on improvingstudent learning outcomes. It can be seen from the evaluation conducted there was an increase inthe average evaluation score from 77.8 to 84.5. In addition, the percentage of students whoreached the minimum completeness standard (KKM) also increased significantly, from 55% to83%. Therefore, it is recommended for teachers to gradually and continuously review appropriatelearning patterns and strategies to improve learning processes and outcomes.

Abstract

Stunting pada balita merupakan masalah kesehatan yang membutuhkan penanganan serius, terutama melalui pendekatan kolaboratif antara bidan dan kader Posyandu. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas bidan dan kader Posyandu serta edukasi kepada orang tua dalam pencegahan stunting. Metode kegiatan meliputi pelatihan kader Posyandu, edukasi kepada orang tua balita, pendampingan praktik pemberian MP-ASI, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Kegiatan dilakukan di wilayah kerja UPT Puskesmas Terjun Kota Medan dengan melibatkan 32 orang tua balita dan 9 kader Posyandu. Kegiatan pengabdian ini melibatkan persiapan berupa identifikasi lokasi dan koordinasi, pelatihan bidan serta kader Posyandu, edukasi orang tua, hingga pemeriksaan rutin tumbuh kembang balita dengan pendampingan bidan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas kader, di mana 88,8% dari kader yang dilatih mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan berdasarkan pre-test dan post-test. Sebanyak 93,8% orang tua memahami pentingnya gizi seimbang, dan praktik pemberian MP-ASI sesuai panduan gizi seimbang meningkat sebesar 50%. Sinergi antara bidan sebagai pemberi layanan kesehatan dan kader Posyandu sebagai penggerak masyarakat menjadi kunci keberhasilan program ini. Kolaborasi ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan praktik pencegahan stunting di tingkat komunitas. Dengan pendekatan berkelanjutan, program ini berpotensi menurunkan prevalensi stunting dan meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan anak di masyarakat.

Abstract

Children's literature produced in Indonesia it self is not too much and studies are rarely carried out. Therefore, it is important to have an assessment of children's literature, especially novels. The research objective was to describe the building blocks in Okky Madasari's Mata di Tanah Melus novel. The approach used in this research is a structuralism approach. The research method used content analysis method. The data source is the novel Mata di Tanah Melus by Okky Madasari. The research time was carried out for one month. Data collection techniques using library techniques. The data collection instrument was the novel Mata di Tanah Melus by Okky Madasari. The data validity technique uses credibility testing techniques, namely increasing persistence and using reference materials. Data analysis in this study used Miles and Huberman's analysis model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the building blocks found in the novel Mata di Tanah Melus, namely the facts of the story in the form of a forward plot. The main character is Matara, the supporting character consists of 18 people, the white character consists of 5 people, and the black character is the Hunters. The setting consists of 17 places. The time setting occurs in the morning, noon, and night. The socio-cultural background raises the culture of the Melus Tribe. The theme raised in the novel Mata di Tanah Melus is the theme of humanity. The means of the story are titles and points of view. The title of the novel contains two meanings and experiences semantic distortion. The point of view used is the main actor's first person point of view

Abstract

The teaching skills of a teacher in learning are one of the important components that must be possessed by a teacher in carrying out learning activities which will be very decisive in the process of achieving learning outcomes for students. on PAI learning outcomes for grade VIII SMP PGRI 8 Denpasar in the 2020/2021 academic year. 2) The contribution of basic teaching skills for teachers to PAI learning outcomes for class VIII SMP PGRI 8 Denpasar in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research uses correlational quantitative research. Data collection techniques used in this research is to use questionnaires, observation and documentation. The results showed that: 1) There was a significant positive effect on the basic skills of teaching teachers to PAI learning outcomes for class VIII SMP PGRI 8 Denpasar, it is known that tcount > ttable is 4.107 > 1.687, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the correlation coefficient is significant. /significant 2) The variable of basic teaching skills of teachers (X) has a simultaneous contribution of 32.5% to the learning outcome variable (Y) which is classified as low and the remaining 67.5 is influenced by other factors not examined by the author.

Abstract

Respiratory failure poses a critical medical challenge, often leading to emergency room visits and mortality. This study delves into of respiratory failure, focusing on the nursing management in meeting the oxygenation needs and blood sugar monitoring in patients with the condition of respiratory failure. Utilizing a descriptive approach with a case study methodology, the research was conducted in the ICU at Hospital in special region of Yogyakarta over a period of six days. Through observation, physical examination, and documentation analysis, the study aimed to understand the nursing intervention of meeting oxygenation requirements in respiratory failure patients, particularly through ventilator intervention and blood sugar monitoring. The study underscores the importance of individualized nursing care in addressing respiratory failure and optimizing patient care outcomes in the ICU setting.
