Abstract

From the results of the answers to the test of mathematical communication skills and the deployment of the questionnaire obtained the problem, namely the low capacity of mathematical communication students, the difficulty of students to write the form of mathematical symbols, and the limitations of teaching materials used during learning in class V in elementary school. This study aimed to develop valid worksheets of students (LKPD) on building simple spaces in class V elementary school, knowing the practicality of LKPDs from users, educators and students, and knowing the effectiveness of LKPD on increasing mathematical communication skills. The method of development used in this study referred to the research design of Borg and Gall. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation, observation, questionnaires, and students' mathematical communication skills tests. The subjects of this study were 25 control class students and 25 experimental class students at SDN 1 Semuli. The study results stated that LKPD products based on the AIR learning model were valid, practical, and effective in improving students' mathematical communication skills. It was proven by material experts, media experts, and language experts validating results with the "Very Valid" category. LKPD based on AIR learning models was practiced to be used by fulfilling the aspects of attractiveness, convenience, and usefulness with the "very practical" category. LKPD-based AIR learning models were effectively used to improve students' mathematical communication skills in the pretest and post-test scores, with the results of the calculation of the experimental class n-gain entry in the category was quite effective

Abstract

Education in the digital era will continue to develop with the use of technology in the learning context becoming crucial to improving the quality of education. The main objective of this research is to understand the extent to which interactive learning media can contribute to strengthening students' conceptual understanding, stimulating their engagement, and encouraging the development of critical skills. The research method used is a qualitative approach. The research results show that educational transformation through interactive learning media significantly increases students' conceptual understanding and their involvement in the learning process. These results provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of education in a technological context, providing a foundation for further development in designing adaptive and innovative learning strategies in the modern era. The practical implications of these findings can help education administrators and educators maximize student learning potential through the application of relevant and interesting interactive learning media

Abstract

This research focuses on the use of learning media used in schools for educators, especially class III SDIT Insan Mulia. This research aims to determine the use of learning media in the learning process, determine the learning interest of students in Class III SDIT Insan Mulia, and find out the obstacles experienced by educators when using technology-based media in the learning process. This research method is qualitative with descriptive data analysis. The data source involved 3 classroom educators, 1 Arabic language teacher and 1 school principal, with research instruments namely interview guides and observations. This data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research conclude that the presence of technology-based learning media in the learning process at SDIT Insan Mulia increases students' interest in learning based on indicators of learning interest. By using technology-based learning media, Arabic is easier to convey and creates a fun learning atmosphere for educators and students. The obstacles experienced when using learning media in the learning process are that there are still many educators in conducting learning who have not utilized technology-based learning media, there are still students who come in and out of the classroom during the learning process, the infrastructure that supports its implementation is not evenly distributed, the unpreparedness of human resources to utilize the media in the learning process

Abstract

Teachers in schools generally have never received training about creating technology-based learning media. So with this training, teachers deliver teaching materials that can be virtualized in various formats so that they are more interesting and more dynamic so they can motivate students to go further in the learning process. Apart from that, it provides knowledge and skills for elementary school educators in the use and utilization of technology-based learning media. The method used is through 2 (two) stages, namely the preparation stage and the implementation stage. The results of this activity consist of achieving the objectives of community service activities, namely: achieving the material presented, as well as increasing motivation to learn to make technology-based learning media. Apart from that, after this training there was a good change in students' interest in learning Arabic from the first day of training to the second day. Pendidik di sekolah pada umumnya belum pernah mendapatkan pelatihan tentang pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Sehingga dengan adanya pelatihan ini, pendidik menyampaikan materi bahan ajar yang dapat divirtualisasikan dalam berbagai format sehingga lebih menarik dan lebih dinamis sehingga mampu memotivasi peserta didik untuk lebih jauh dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi pendidik SD dalam penggunaan dan pemanfaatan media pembelajarann berbasis teknologi. Adapun metode yang dilakukan adalah melalui 2 (dua) tahapan, yaitu tahap persiapan dan tahap pelaksanaan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yang terdiri dari ketercapaian tujuan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat yaitu: ketercapaian materi yang disampaikan, serta motivasi pendidik terlihat meningkat untuk belajar membuat media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Selain itu, setelah pelatihan ini adanya perubahan yang baik pada minat belajar peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran bahasa arab dari pelatihan hari pertama sampai dengan hari kedua.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the increase in problem-solving abilities in mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 5 Karang Anyar South Lampung through a joyful learning strategy. The research problem is the low interest and interest of students in mathematics so that it affects the low results of learning mathematics. The research subjects were students in class V-A Odd Semester at SD Negeri 5 Karang Anyar, South Lampung, which consisted of 24 students, while the objects in the study were the results of learning mathematics. The implementation method uses two stages, namely: the preparation stage and the implementation stage. The results of the study show that the use of joyful learning strategies can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 5 Karang Anyar Jati Agung South Lampung in the 2022 academic year

Abstract

Literacy is one of the main foundations that must be taught at the elementary school level. If the literacy foundation is strong since elementary school, students will adapt more quickly to learning. The lack of literacy culture in today's children and youth environment needs to be recognized. This encouraged the team to carry out PkM with the title PkM "Strengthening Reading Literacy through the LOK-R Model for SDIT Al Hambra Pesawaran Students". This activity was carried out as an effort to strengthen the literacy of elementary school age children through the LOK-R model at the Al Hambra Pesawaran Integrated Islamic Elementary School. This is motivated by the fact that there is still a lack of students' reading literacy skills so it is necessary to implement a model that helps students become more interested in reading. This community service provides participants (students) with experience on how to use the LOK-R model in increasing the reading literacy of students at the Al Hambra Pesawaran Integrated Islamic Elementary School. Therefore, the Literacy Orientation Collaboration Reflection (LOK-R) learning model is suitable for learning in elementary schools

Abstract

Independent curriculum is an education policy that aims to provide schools with flexibility to develop learning that is more in line with students' needs. This study analyzes the implementation of the independent curriculum at SDN 1 Sumber Agung, focusing on implementation strategies, challenges faced, and its impact on the learning process. The approach used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that SDN 1 Sumber Agung has implemented the independent curriculum with a thematic approach, project-based learning, and formative assessment. However, the challenges faced include the lack of teacher understanding of the independent curriculum concept, limited learning resources, and resistance from several parties to changes in learning practices. Nevertheless, the independent curriculum has a positive impact, especially in increasing teacher creativity, student engagement, and the relevance of learning to the needs of the times. This study also identified that the success of implementation is highly dependent on effective teacher training, support from the principal, and the active involvement of all related parties. Therefore, efforts are needed to strengthen teacher competence and ongoing mentoring so that the implementation of the independent curriculum can be more optimal.
