Abstract

Memasuki awal tahun 2022, Indonesia sudah mulai memasuki gelombang tiga virus COVID-19. Upaya untuk menekan lajunya penduduk Indonesia terpapar virus COVID-19 yaitu melalui vaksinasi COVID-19 dan menghimbau masyarakat mematuhi protokol kesehatan lewat penerapan 6M, yaitu menjauhi kerumuman, memakai masker, menjaga jarak, mengurangi mobilitas, mencuci tangan dengan sabun air mengalir, dan menghindari makan bersama. Namun, capaian vaksinasi COVID-19 di Kecamatan Tamako belum memenuhi target nasional. Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh Politeknik Negeri Nusa Utara khusunya Jurusan Keperawatan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang vaksinasi COVID-19, protokol kesehatan 6M, dan mengetahui hasil pemeriksaan kesehatannya seperti kadar kolestrol, asam urat, dan gula darah di Kampung Mahumu II. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu memberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang vaksinasi COVID-19, protokol kesehatan 6M, dan pemeriksaan kesehatan. Waktu pelaksanaan pada tanggal 30 Juli 2022 bertempat di Kampung Mahumu II. Peserta sejumlah 35 orang. Diketahui mayoritas kurang pengetahuan sebanyak 42,9 persen. Pendidikan kesehatan diberikan dengan menggunakan metode leaflet dan ceramah. Sebanyak 94,3 persen berpengetahuan baik setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan. Sebanyak 57 persen divaksin booster COVID-19. Terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang vaksinasi COVID-19, protokol kesehatan 6M, dan diketahui hasil pemeriksaan kesehatannya seperti kadar kolestrol, asam urat, dan gula darah di Kampung Mahumu II. In early 2022 Indonesia has begun to enter the third wave of the COVID-19 virus. To reduce the rate of Indonesian population impact by COVID-19 virus by vaccination and push them to apply health protocols through 6M staying away from the crowd, wearing mask, maintaining distance, reducing mobility, washing hands with soap and water, and avoiding eating with groups, however COVID-19 vaccination in the Tamako District has not yet met the national target. The purpose of community service of Politeknik Negeri Nusa Utara is to increase public knowledge about COVID-19 vaccination and the 6M health protocols and find out health medical checks such as cholesterol, uric acid, and blood sugar levels in Mahumu II Village. These community service methods provide health education about COVID-19 vaccination, 6M health protocols, and health medical check. The implementation of community service of Politeknik Negeri Nusa Utara of Nursing Program on July 30, 2022, at Kampung Mahumu II with 35 participants. The majority had less information 42.9 percent. Health education methods are provided by using leaflets and explanation pictures. Of the amount, 94.3 percent have good knowledge after being given health education methods and about 57 percent were given boosters vaccinated for COVID-19. The community service at Kampung Mahumu II increases public knowledge of COVID-19 vaccination, and 6M health protocols and then has information on health medical checks, cholesterol, uric acid, and blood sugar levels.

Abstract

Salah satu penyakit tidak menular yang seringkali tidak menimbulkan gejala sehingga menyebabkan penderita terbesar tidak patuh dalam melaksanakan pengobatan yaitu hipertensi. Oleh sebab itu, perlu adanya pencegahan terjadinya masalah terkait penyakit hipertensi dan kejenuhan untuk mengonsumsi obat hipertensi setiap hari melalui pemberian edukasi. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk memberikan edukasi terapi Non farmokologis pemanfaatan jus mentimun dan rendaman air jahe dalam penanggulangan hipertensi di Pulau Marore. Pada tanggal 17 Juli dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian di Aula Kantor Kecamatan Marore. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rerata pengetahuan dibandingkan sebelum edukasi diberikan dengan nilai selisih 20,3. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian edukasi berpengaruh cukup efektif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan partisipan. Kesimpulan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan sesudah dilakukan edukasi terapi non farmakologis pemanfaatan mentimun dan jahe dalam penanggulangan hipertensi di Pulau Marore One of the non-communicable diseases that often does not cause symptoms, causing the majority of sufferers to be non-compliant with treatment, is hypertension. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent problems related to hypertension and boredom from taking hypertension medication every day by providing education. The aim of this service is to provide non-pharmacological therapy education on the use of cucumber juice and ginger water soaks in treating hypertension on Marore Island. On July 17, service activities were carried out in the Marore District Office Hall. The results show an increase in the average knowledge compared to before education was provided with a difference value of 20.3. This shows that providing education has a quite effective effect on increasing participants' knowledge. The conclusion is that there is an increase in knowledge after providing education on non-pharmacological therapy on the use of cucumber and ginger in treating hypertension on Marore Island

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of the study was to determine the description of stunting prevention in Indonesia based on a literature review.Methods: The research method used is a literature study. Data collection by searching for Indonesian-language articles on the Google Scholar database with a time span of 2020-2022. The keywords used are "stunting prevention". Each article was filtered using a prism diagram to obtain six articles.Results: The results show that stunting prevention has been carried out in the form of basic community sanitation (providing access to clean water, provision of latrines, provision of waste water disposal facilities, and waste disposal), health access (providing MCH and family planning services, providing health insurance for underprivileged residents, education and nutrition improvement for stunting toddlers, and early marriage), religious approaches, community empowerment, communication of health messages, food diversity, and supplementary feeding.Conclusion: Based on the literature review, it can be concluded that stunting prevention in Indonesia is basic community sanitation, access to health, religious approaches, community empowerment, communication of health messages, food diversity, and supplementary feeding.

Abstract

Timbulan sampah di wilayah Indonesia mencapai 36 ton per tahun dan 67, 62% diantaranya merupakan sampah yang tidak terkelola. Banyaknya timbulan sampah disebabkan karena berbagai faktor baik dari aspek perilaku, lingkungan serta fasilitas pembuangan sampah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran serta keterlibatan siswa dalam penggunaan sampah plastik dan pengelolaan sampah. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dalam berbagai langkah yakni analisis situasi, koordinasi, pelaksanaan hingga evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan diikuti oleh 101 peserta.  Berdasarkan karakteristik, 55 (54,5%) merupakan peserta perempuan dan 46 (45,54%) peserta laki-laki. Peserta mayoritas berusia 12 tahun dengan jumlah 44 (43,6%). Skor rerata pengetahuan peserta pada lembar pretest yakni 7 dan rerata pada lembar posttest menjadi 9,5 dari skor maksimal 10. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan mampu meningkatkan pegetahuan dan kesadaran siswa tentang pentingnya penerapan eco-lifestyle. Keterlibatan siswa dalam praktik daur ulang turut memicu kreativitas siswa serta memberikan perspektif baru tentang potensi sampah menjadi barang bermanfaat.

Abstract

January 3, 2020, there has been a natural disaster of flash floods and landslides in Belengang village. Much assistance received in the form of food, clothing, health, and other equipment, but there has been no response to disaster victims to trauma, especially in children. If the injury not addressed, it will have a severe impact on the growth and development of these children. Based on that, playing therapy is used as trauma healing. The implementation of this activity carried out in 4 stages, namely the life survey, assessment, preparation, and execution. The results achieved are all children happy, able to socialize with their peers, and more confident.
