Abstract

AbstrakKarya tari kontemporer di Bali kerap menjadi ruang negosiasi antara tradisi ritual dan inovasi artistik. TanjungSambuk lahir dari inspirasi prosesi pengantin Hindu setelah upacara mekala- kalaan dan sebelum natab mewidi-widana, tepat pada momen intim di bilik pengantin ketika pasangan berbagi rasa bahagia, haru, dan keraguan.Latar belakang ini menegaskan urgensi penelitian, yakni bagaimana ritual sakral dapat direinterpretasi dalambentuk tari kontemporer yang tetap berpijak pada nilai estetika Hindu. Permasalahan utama yang diangkat adalahbagaimana simbolisasi emosi dan ritus pengantin divisualkan melalui medium tari sehingga relevan dengankonteks seni pertunjukan masa kini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Angripta Sesolahan (menciptakan tari-tarian), dengan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis praktik artistik. Teori yang digunakan meliputi etnoestetika(Kaeppler), performativitas (Schechner), dan simbolisme ritual (Turner), sehingga analisis mencakup aspek prosespenciptaan, bentuk, serta makna simbolik pertunjukan. Eksperimen artistik diwujudkan melalui koreografiberkelompok (4 penari laki-laki, 4 perempuan) dengan iringan teknologi musik digital (Musical Instrument DigitalInterface [MIDI]) berdurasi 12 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tanjung Sambuk berhasil menghadirkanruang estetis yang memadukan ekspresi emosional pengantin dengan inovasi kontemporer tanpa kehilangan akarritus Hindu. Novelty penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi praktik ritual ke dalam koreografi kontemporer berbasisMIDI, yang sekaligus membuka perspektif baru tentang estetika tari Bali modern sebagai medium transformasinilai religius dan emosional.Kata kunci: Tanjung Sambuk; Ritual Hindu; Estetika Tari; Kontemporer; Etnoestetika.

Abstract

Pneumonia is still the biggest cause of childhood mortality and also the cause of death in many elderly people in the world. The incidence of Pneumonia in 2015 in Semarang City was found as many as 7,759 cases, an increase compared to the previous year which reached 4,295 cases. The problem of Penumonia disease is most prevalent in the Working Area of ​​Mijen Community Health Center, which is found 337 cases. This was a case-control study using the retrospective study method. Case group were 35 respondents and control group 35 respondents. The data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi Square and the magnitude of risk with Odd Ratio and multivariate analysis to know the correlation (p) of independent variables together with dependent variable with logistic regression. The results of the research: 1) there is a relationship between the habit of opening the window of the house with the incidence of pneumonia (p = 0,031, OR = 3,273; 95% CI), 2) Cigarette Smoke Exposure (p = 0,002; OR = 5,537; 95% CI); 3) Healthy house (p = 0,010; OR = 6,303; 95% CI). Multivariate analysis results: 1). there is a relationship between the habit of opening the window of the house with the incidence of pneumonia OR = 3,596, 2). Cigarette Smoke Exposure OR = 8,426,3). House Condition OR = 9,240. The habit of opening the window of the house, exposure to cigarette smoke, and healthy homes have a relationship with the incidence of pneumonia

Abstract

This study examines students' perceptions of the use of the Netflix application in English classes, driven by low speaking skills among students, including lack of confidence, limited vocabulary, and difficulty understanding native speakers. This study was conducted at SMK PGRI 2 Kediri with 86 grade XI students using a quantitative approach and survey method. The tool used was a closed-ended questionnaire focusing on four indicators of speaking skills: pronunciation, fluency, accuracy, and performance. The results showed that most students had a positive perception of using Netflix as a learning medium. More than 77% agreed that Netflix improved their pronunciation and fluency, while 90% agreed that it improved their grammatical accuracy. However, only 6% strongly agreed, and 66% of students agreed in terms of performance. It means that it improves their speaking performance, indicating challenges in expressing themselves confidently and with appropriate body language. Netflix's authentic content, such as films and series with subtitles, provides real-life examples of language use, helping students mimic native speaker pronunciation, understand sentence structure, and expand their vocabulary. Despite its limitations, such as the need for active practice outside of watching, Netflix is considered an effective tool for supporting more engaging, flexible, and contextual speaking development. In conclusion, the Netflix app receives positive feedback for helping students improve their speaking skills. Additionally, Netflix can serve as a strong supplementary medium in English-speaking classes, especially when integrated with interactive learning strategies such as role-playing or shadowing.
