Abstract

Education contribution to the formation of the style and quality of the future of human civilization can not be denied again. Education conventionally until the modern age was still believed to be a strategic location to expand the horizons and to provide the most valuable information about the meaning and purposing of life as the norm was taken. It needed that were essential to face the challenges of the changes in the future to create individuals, communities, and nations. While education digitalism was a very effective system to improve the quality of human life in all aspects of human life, education presented conscious efforts. Encouragement of education not only in preparing personnel professional teachers in their field but also encouraged prepared proteges facing to change towards conventional for digitalism. A fundamental change in the framework of preparing students was: change's ideology, self-control, futuristic effect, meaning in life.

Abstract

This paper explains the quality of school management in dealing with the condition of school supervisors at the level of the education unit in the region. Supervisors in the education unit are part of the management which is often considered a form of work of the school leadership in managing and managing everything that is connected with the administration of the students. For the success of school management conditions in the face of an era of disruption 4.0, schools must correct the failure of management, becoming better management. These will be important in maintaining the quality of education management and the quality of education itself as the desired management of the law to educate the nation's life.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of information and communication technology on the reading ability of students in tertiary institutions. The method for collecting data sources uses quantitative descriptive methods. This method presents data and describes data based on books, journals, and several other sources. This article examines and presents information and communication technology in the reading ability of students in tertiary institutions, including input competency for higher education is very necessary, as a form of higher education readiness in maintaining graduate quality. Curriculum development in tertiary institutions should continue to be reconstructed against changes that occur, especially the ability to receive information and disseminate it to the public. Interest in reading and ICT will be achieved in national education standards in Indonesia, which will be a solution to the problem of information delays and will continue to be minimized.

Abstract

All Formal education is oriented towards the continuity of one's education to carry out formal learning activities from the pre-school level to the university level. This article asks about the involvement of non-formal education to fulfil the learning needs of students during the Covid-19 epidemic as a form of companion, complement, support and requirement. This article uses a qualitative descriptive design that takes the ideas, sources and theories based on reference books, related journals and experiences as well as from sources those who are experienced in their fields. So this article, the author states that the involvement of non-formal education is divided into two points, namely: 1) Direct involvements: a) extracurricular involvement, b) technology system involvement of subjects matters, c) involvement of school activity companions, d) involvement of supporting of vision and mission of the school. 2) Indirect involvements: a) involvement of companion learning resource’s needed, b) involvement of flexibility learning activities, c) involvement of potential trainers of students, d) involvement of pre-requisites for admission to favourite study and e) involvement the lifelong education's changement.

Abstract

To be achievement in learning and teaching language aspects were full involvement in the selection of learning resources and materials in higher education. They were applied in everyday life. This article discussed and analysed the implementation of Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka in English teaching and linguistics based on contextual teaching and learning model in higher education. The method applied used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data’s sources included primary data: observation and interview. Then, secondary data: guidelines for Implementation of the 2021 Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka and some relevant articles. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation and documentation techniques. Techniques in determining documentation: 1) linkage of studies with reading sources, 2) engagement of studies with the results of previous research, and 3) the theory of significance and the experiences of researchers. Data analysis techniques include: 1) coding/noticing, 2) categorizing, 3) thematic analysis,4) testing and triangulation, 5) reflixivitation, 6) conclusion. The results of the study and analysis was found that there was a significant relationship between the implementation MB-KM in ETL based on CTL model, there was seem from the full involvement of students in determining learning resources in the classroom and outside the classroom, directing meaningful learning, cognitive learning in students, and developing character and creative competencies in leaning language study. These things will help students and lectures in full collaboration to build an independent competency profile in higher education to build up language proficiency.

Abstract

Abstract: This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to provide students with learning experiences about and the utilization of empty spaces inside and outside the classroom with an ecopedagogy nuance. This activity uses quantitative descriptions. This approach uses the pretest-posttest control group design method. Data collection uses pretest and posttest with 20 multiple-choice questions. Multiple-choice questions are analyzed to find the average value of each test used. The analysis uses SPSS Version 16.0. Based on the results of the analysis, the average value of the pretest for understanding ecopedagogy was 68, the utilization of empty space was 76, while the average value of the posttest for understanding ecopedagogy was 89, and the utilization of empty space was 92, so it can be concluded that there is a student learning experience after the treatment. Therefore, the utilization of ecopedagogy-themed classrooms can be implemented in learning and teaching activities for the future.Keyword: ecopedagogy, empty space, utilization  Abstrak: Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar kepada mahasiswa tentang dan pemanfaatan ruang kosong dalam dan luar kelas bernuansa ecopedagogy. Kegiatan ini menggunakan deskripsi kuantitatif. Pendekatan ini meggunakan metode prettest-posttest control group design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan prestest dan posttest dengan pemberian soal berbentuk pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 puluh soal. Soal dalam bentuk pilihan ganda dianalisa untuk mencari nilai rata-rata tiap tes yang digunakan. Penganalisaan menggunakan SPSS Versi 16.0. Berdasarkan pada hasil penganalisaan ditemukan nilai rata-rata pada pretest untuk pemahaman ecopedagogy adalah 68, pemanfaatan ruang kosong 76, sedangkan dan nilai rata-rata posttest untuk pemahaman ecopedagogy adalah 89, dan pemanfaatan ruang kosong adalah 92, sehingga dapat disimpulakan bahwa terdapat pengalaman belajar mahasiswa setelah dilakukan perlakukan. Oleh karena itu, pemanfaatan ruang kelas bernuansa ecopedagogy dapat diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan belajar dan mengajar untuk waktu yang akan datang.
