Abstract

Piroksikam digunakan sebagai analgetik dan antiinflamasi yang sering dialami oleh kalangan lansia yang mempunyai kesulitan menelan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut yaitu dengan sediaan Orally Disintegrating Tablet (ODT). Avicel PH 102 merupakan bahan disintegran yang biasa digunakan sebagai penyusun ODT, karena mempunyai daya disintegran yang sangat baik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan piroksikam menjadi bentuk sediaan ODT. Metode pembuatan ODT dilakukan dengan metode kempa langsung. Variasi konsentrasi Avicel PH 102 yang digunakan untuk formula 1 sebesar 15% dan formula 2 sebesar 20%. Tablet hasil formulasi diperiksa karakteristik fisik yang meliputi identifikasi tablet, kerapuhan, kekerasan, ketebalan, waktu hancur, bentuk dan ukuran tablet, laju disolusinya serta dilakukan penetapan kadar. Metode analisa kadar piroksikam baik pada penentuan disolusi maupun pada penentuan kadar, dilakukan verifikasi metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis terlebih dahulu meliputi spesifisitas, presisi, dan akurasi. Formula terbaik selanjutnya dilakukan uji hedonik. Hasil verifikasi untuk ketiga uji memenuhi persyaratan sehingga dikatakan metode uji valid. Hasil uji fisik tablet dikatakan memenuhi syarat kecuali untuk uji kerapuhan. Data laju disolusi dan penetapan kadar tablet piroksikam memenuhi syarat FI V yaitu laju disolusi tidak kurang dari 75%(Q + 5%) dan hasil penetapan kadar F1 dan F2 berturut-urut sebesar 95,22 ± 3,09% dan 95,14 ± 4,26%. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa piroksikam dapat dibuat dalam bentuk sediaan ODT karena menghasilkan sediaan tablet dengan sifat fisik yang baik kecuali pada uji kerapuhan. Formula yang dipilih yaitu formula 2, karena waktu hancur dan disolusi tablet lebih baik dibandingkan dengan formula 1.

Abstract

Opportunities and challenges in several aspects of Indonesia, such as the number of cosmetic companies by 78.34% (2021), the increase in the GDP of the cosmetics sector by 9.61% (2021), the increase in registered cosmetic products by 53.65% (2022), and the low level of purchase return of cosmetic products increased competition between cosmetic brands in Indonesia. This study analyzes the impact of social media marketing for the Wardah, Revlon, and Pixy brands on Instagram on brand image, brand awareness, purchase decision, and repurchase intention. Data was collected through a survey using the convenience technique of 175 respondents who were followers of the Wardah, Revlon, and Pixy brands. Data analysis used the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. Social media marketing research results affect brand awareness and brand image and do not affect purchase decision and repurchase intention. Brand awareness affects brand image, purchase decision, and repurchase intention. Brand image does not influence purchase decision and repurchase intention. Purchase decisions affect repurchase intentions.This research provides insight into the application of social media marketing in Indonesia on the Instagram platform, which has a complex relationship with brand awareness, brand image, purchase decision, and repurchase intention

Abstract

The stem of Spatholobus littoralis has been used to treat cancer and is empirically utilized by the Dayak people on the island of Kalimantan, Indonesia. This study aims to explore the antioxidant activity of Bajakah stems extracted using nine different solvent variations and to test their anticancer activity and toxicity in silico. The in vitro methods used to assess antioxidant activity are the DPPH and ABTS assays. The applications utilized for the in silico methods include SwissADME, Deep-PK, ProTox 3.0, STITCH, and AutoDock Vina. The test results show that the antioxidant activity of the 70% ethanol extract has a good profile. Meanwhile, the toxicity test of the contained bioactive compounds indicates a good safety level with a minimum IC50 value of 1034 mg/kg. The bioactive compounds exhibit good affinity, with the highest values for the bioactive daidzein at receptors 1di8 and 3twj, with values of -9.5 and -8.8, respectively. It can be concluded from this study that the stem of Spatholobus littoralis has potential as an anticancer agent, although its antioxidant potential is low.

Abstract

Background: Child health is essential for human resource development, especially in communities with limited health services. One preventive measure that can be taken to maintain genital hygiene is circumcision. This preventive measure reduces the risk of urinary tract infections and sexually transmitted diseases. However, to carry out child circumcision independently, there are some financial problems in Cahaya Baru Village, Jejangkit District, Barito Kuala Regency. Methods: This activity involved children from Cahaya Baru Village. Participant screening, health instructions, circumcision procedures carried out by medical professionals, post-procedure medication administration, and medication use instructions were all methods used in the implementation. The Indonesian Red Crescent (BSMI) of South Kalimantan, the Barito Kuala District Health Office, the Jejangkit District Health Center, and the Cahaya Baru Village government were involved in this project. Results and discussion: Forty participants successfully received a safe and controlled circumcision procedure. Before the procedure, all participants underwent a screening process and received health instructions. There were no significant complications post-circumcision, and all participants received pain relievers and antibiotics for healing. In addition, DAGUSIBU training increased community understanding of proper drug use. Active participation of various parties ensured that activities ran smoothly and increased synergy in community-based health services. Conclusion: Mass circumcision activities in Cahaya Baru Village showed that multi-sector collaboration-based programs can improve community access to basic health services. This program was successful thanks to participation, trained medical personnel, and health education. Similar efforts are expected to be carried out sustainably to increase the positive effects on community health welfare.
