Abstract

Aplikasi Geogebra merupakan suatu aplikasi yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran Matematika. Aplikasi ini memudahkan siswa dalam materi geometri, sistem persamaan linier, persamaan garis, persamaan fungsi kuadrat dan lain-lain. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan mempratekkan secara langsung aplikasi Geogebra kepada siswa pada materi sistem persamaan linier. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 5 Medan. Peserta dalam kegiatan ini adalah siswa kelas X TKRO 3 yang terdiri dari 35 orang siswa. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 31 Oktober 2022. Kegiatan dalam pengabdian ini adalah penggunaan aplikasi Geogebra dalam pembelajaran Matematika sehingga motivasi belajar siswa meningkat. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diperoleh respon siswa sangat baik dan siswa lebih senang dan tertarik belajar Matematika di kelas. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi Geogebra dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pelajaran Matematika.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) to determine the application of Choral Reading learning strategies relating to texts relating to Economics in learning English; (2) to determine the effectiveness of the application of choral reading learning strategies in English learning to students' reading skills. This type of research is Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles. Subjects in the study were students of class XI with a total of 30 students. Data collection techniques that will be used are observation, documentation, and testing. The qualitative data analysis technique is by doing reflection notes, the thoughts that arise when observing, and are the results of the process of comparing, linking, or linking the data displayed with previous data. The results of this class action research showed an increase in initial ability compared to cycle 1, namely students who completed in cycle 1 numbered 15 students or 50.00%. From the results of the second cycle, it can be written that students who have completed are 24 students from 30 students or 80.00%. From cycle 1 to cycle 2 there was a 30% increase. This proves that the use of Choral Reading learning strategies is very effective.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: (1) to determine the application of Choral Reading learning strategies related to texts related to Economics in learning English; (2) to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of choral reading learning strategies in learning English on students' reading skills. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penyusutan aktiva tetap berdampak pada laba PT Green Accounting adalah biaya lingkungan yang dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan setelah mendapatkan manfaat dari aktivitas bisnisnya. Namun, banyak perusahaan yang tidak menerapkan green accounting dengan baik karena menganggap biaya lingkungan sebagai beban yang akan berdampak negatif pada upaya memaksimalkan keuntungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menguji dampak penerapan green accounting terhadap laba perusahaan. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi untuk pengumpulan data. Data yang digunakan berasal dari tahun 2020 hingga 2022 dari PT. Arnotts Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan telah mengeluarkan biaya terkait kualitas lingkungan hidup sebagai upaya pencegahan kerusakan lingkungan.

Abstract

The number of damaged and lost goods has increased, this is due to the lack of supervision carried out by the company in sorting goods that are easily broken or goods that are easily damaged by using packaging that is easily damaged, the lack of information system procedures in inputting data to prepare reports on incoming goods and out, causing an increase in the loss of goods to be sent, causing the company to have to provide compensation to customers who have lost goods and can cause a decrease in the quality of supervision of the company. Therefore, PT. Global Trasportindo Prima requires an effective and efficient information system so that it can adapt to demands to increase the speed of the process from receipt, storage, to final receipt. The research method was carried out using descriptive analysis method, this research was used to collect research data that would be obtained from PT. Global Transportindo Prima. The results of the study show that PT Global Transportindo Prima has been effective in its internal control over the incoming and outgoing goods process because it has complied with the internal control components of the COSO (committee of sponsoring organization). From the results of the above research it can be concluded: The loading and unloading process carried out at PT Global Transportindo Prima is in accordance with the procedures set by the company. Even though there were several processes that were not carried out because they were adjusted to the actual conditions that existed, overall they had complied with the existing procedures. PT Global Transportindo Prima still had not implemented a good information system so that manual recording would sometimes hamper and lack of manpower so that checking the stock of goods still uses physical files or even checks the items that are arranged. In the management of PT Global Transportindo Prima, there are many who make loans but forget to repay debts, this is due to the transfer of salaries that go to the bank.Keyword : Internal Control System

Abstract

The increasing demand for accuracy and efficiency in inventory management has driven companies to adopt advanced technological solutions such as Electronic Data Processing (EDP) systems. This study examines the implementation of EDP in inventory supervision at PT. Makmur Sejahtera Medan, which faces challenges related to operator competency and system optimization. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, incorporating in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis to understand the current state of EDP application and identify obstacles. The findings reveal that while the integration of the Si Log system has enhanced data processing and inventory tracking, limitations persist due to inadequate operator training and the absence of a robust backup system. These challenges hinder the full potential of EDP systems in achieving seamless inventory management. The study implies that targeted training programs and the development of contingency systems are essential for optimizing EDP implementation and ensuring data accuracy and operational continuity. The results contribute to the body of knowledge on EDP adoption in medium-sized enterprises, highlighting both successes and areas needing improvement to guide future technological strategies.

Abstract

The role of the accounting information system within the company is to provide information appropriateand trustworthy management needs to help in decision making and as control over activities company. Thisstudy aims to determine how the role of the system accounting information as a means of controlling thestock of incoming and outgoing goods purchases and sales of the effectiveness of recording inventoryreports trading at PT. Brilliant Focus Champion. The type of data used in this research is primary andsecondary data. Data collection techniques are observation and interview. This technique is used to obtaininformation in general regarding the application of information systems in controlling the stock of goodsin and out all the way to sales. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis method. Thismethod is done by describing the condition of PT. Focus Champion Brilliant objectively so that thecompletion of a problem is obtained faced by the company. From the research conducted, it can be seenthat the information system Accounting plays a very important role as a means of controlling merchandiseinventory PT. Jawara Focus Gemilang, but its implementation is still not effective or inadequate becausethere are still certain parts that carry out functions and more than one task, namely there is no segregationof duties between the reception, inspection, storage and the part that removes the goods from warehouse.The accounting information system is also not fully mastered by This can be seen from the number of inputerrors in the item code.

Abstract

Rendahnya minat membaca pada teks Bahasa Inggris siswa-siswi SMK Negeri 2 Medan, berdampak pada kurangnya pengetahuan terhadap hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan Bahasa Asing yang memang mau tidak mau harus dikuasai oleh siswa-siswi karena menjadi salah satu bahasa yang harus dikuasi di Indonesia Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk mentransfer metode yang baru serta berkembang dan mudah digunakan dalam berkomunikasi serta mempunyai efektifitas yang tinggi terhadap tidak hanya kemmampuan membaca namun juga berbicara sehingga siswa dapat menggunakan bahasa Inggris dengan benar dan tepat gun (sesuai Konteks) dalam lingkup terkecil (kelas). mitra dari kegiatan ini adalah siswa siswi Jurusan Akuntansi Di SMK Negeri 2 Medan. Jumlah sasaran adalah 36 siswa-siswi dalam satu rombongan belajar. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan pelatihan secara ringkas disertai pengisian kuesioner oleh siswa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini dari 29 siswa yang mengisi kuesioner, sebanyak 20 siswa masih belum memahami metode choral reading danmanfaatnya sementara 9 siswa lainnya sudah memahami metode ini dalam pelajaran Bahasa Inggris

Abstract

The era of the creative industry presents significant opportunities to integrate literary learning with entrepreneurship. This study explores the transformation of literary education as an effort to develop entrepreneurial potential among students. Literature, as a form of creative expression, plays a strategic role in fostering creativity, critical thinking skills, writing proficiency, and communication abilities, which are essential elements in entrepreneurship. Through an interdisciplinary approach, literary learning can be designed to involve the analysis of literary works, narrative creation, and the exploration of innovation themes relevant to the creative industry.  This study also identifies project-based literary learning models that encourage students to create original works with economic potential, such as film scripts, dramas, short stories, novels, or story-based products. The findings indicate that the transformation of literary learning not only enriches aesthetic appreciation but also provides a foundation for students to utilize their creative abilities in generating business opportunities. Therefore, the integration of literature and entrepreneurship holds the potential to create a generation that is creative, innovative, and competitive in the era of the creative industry.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the current technological era is growing very rapidly. The development of information technology has had a major influence on the development of libraries, especially in terms of managing information. Indeed, it is not something bad or even prohibited if you continue to manage the library using manual methods, there are several things that need to be considered, why libraries in the current context need an automation system. All libraries are required to be able to keep up with advances in information technology in the current are of digitalization. Libraries currently also have to implement an automation system using a set of computer tools assisted by supporting software such as SLIMS 9 (Senayan Library Management System). SLIMS 9 is very helpful for librarians’ work in processing library materials. Inventory, classification, cataloging and labeling are no longer done manually but are automated with a SLIMS-based library automation system. The problems that we often encounter today are not fully implementing SLIMS 9 propely and inadequate Human Resources (HR), so we have to recollect data on collections of library materials available using SLIMS 9. Using SLIMS 9 can help libraries in increase efficiency and availability of information. The use of SLIMS 9 varies depending on the scale and needs of each library, from school libraries to university libraries or public libraries. Good implementation usually involves training library staff to make optimal use of these system features.
