Abstract

This study aims to examine the infl uence of the lifestyle of the younger generation and the quality of service provided by the coffee shop on the decision of the young generation to visit (buy) products at a coffee shop. The research method used was a survey method. The sampling technique used was porposive sampling, while the number of samples used in this study was 85. The results of this study indicate that the lifestyle of the younger generation and the quality of coffee shop services have a signifi cant effect on purchasing decisions for young generation products in coffee shops. In addition, this study also has empirical and practical implications, that the lifestyle of consumers (young generation) and service quality are important factors to be considered by both coffee shop entrepreneurs and researchers.

Abstract

This study is entitled "Code Switching Used by The Characters in Susah Sinyal Movie". The discussion is aimed at finding out the type of code switching and analysing the function of code switching in the movie entitled "Susah Sinyal" The data source was taken from Susah Sinyal movie and this is a qualitative research with note taking techniques. The results of the data types of code switching obtained were analyzed using the theory of Poplack (1995) and the function were analyzed using the theory of Apple and Muysken (1987). This analysis is presented using an informal method. Research revealed that there are three types of code switching that were used by the characters. Those are tag switching, inter-sentential switching, and intra- sentential switching. For the functions of code switching, there are six functions found in the movie. Those are referential, directive, phatic, expressive, metalinguistic and poetic that are used by the characters in the movie.

Abstract

Pemecahan masalah matematika merupakan komponen inti dalam pembelajaran matematika yang berperan penting dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, logis, dan sistematis peserta didik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep pemecahan masalah matematika, landasan teorinya, karakteristik, strategi, serta perannya dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan dengan menganalisis buku dan sumber ilmiah yang relevan, khususnya teori pemecahan masalah menurut Polya dan teori belajar konstruktivisme. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pemecahan masalah matematika merupakan proses sistematis yang meliputi memahami masalah, merencanakan penyelesaian, melaksanakan rencana, dan meninjau kembali hasil. Aktivitas pemecahan masalah yang efektif mendorong siswa untuk aktif membangun pengetahuan, mengaitkan konsep matematika dengan kehidupan nyata, serta meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dalam belajar matematika. Dengan demikian, pemecahan masalah matematika perlu diintegrasikan secara konsisten dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa.
