<![CDATA[The information age creates abundant digital information sources (e-resources) through the internet. The abundance of digital information encourages humans to search and use it to meet information needs. However, not all information on the internet can be taken to be genuine, valid and reliable references. So, this service activity was carried out aimed at providing technical guidance to librarians in Pekanbaru. The method used in this activity is by providing technical guidance on tracking and utilizing e-resources to librarians. The result of this activity is an increase in the librarian's understanding and skills in the strategy and utilization of e-resources an average of 24.5%, as well as scientific articles that have been sent to the journal Bidik. The suggestion from the dedication is that the training participants should apply the knowledge gained from the training in each library, and it is better if similar activities should be held in the field of library science.]]>

<![CDATA[The school library is an institution that acts as a center for information, educational activities, research, recreation for school residents. In supporting this role, school libraries must strive to provide excellent services according to the applicable national library standards. To realize a standardized library, the school library must conduct an assessment through library accreditation. With hope, an accredited library will provide services in accordance with the needs of users. However, awareness of school library accreditation in Riau Province is still very low. This is proven by the number of accredited school libraries that have not reached 1% of the total 1,391 school libraries in Riau Province. This has led to the holding of training and assistance related to school library accreditation for library managers or librarians of SMKN 7 Pekanbaru. The method used in this activity is to conduct training and assistance in preparing accreditation forms and preparing school library accreditation forms. The activity was delivered by means of, interactive discussion, assistance and evaluation using the checklist, pretest and posttest methods.]]>

<![CDATA[The madrasa library is a unit that supports learning and teaching activities, for that the library needs to provide various services that can be utilized by students and teachers. Based on the identification of problems with partners, there are several findings, namely; misunderstanding about library automation, lack of trained library staff, lack of support from the leadership, data input. Regarding the problems faced by partners, the team offers solutions to help solve these problems. The solution offered is in the form of technical guidance related to the implementation of library automation for madrasa librarians in Riau Province. The implementation of this service activity is packaged using a technical guidance approach. The activity was delivered using lecture methods, interactive discussions and practice. the results of the activities that have been carried out that all planned targets are achieved properly and in accordance with the program proposal. This activity received a positive response from partners and participants, seen from the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the technical guidance activities. Furthermore, there was an increase in participants' understanding and skills in using Inlislite and SLiMS library application software. This indicator can be seen from the results of the pretest and posttest evaluations. While the main output of this activity is scientific articles that have been sent to online journals and the additional output is publication in online mass media.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan mahasiwa Prodi Ilmu Perpustakaan dalam memahami informasi digital, untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan mahasiwa dalam memahami informasi digital pada masa pandemi serta untuk mengetahui mahasiswa bagaimana kemampuan dalam pencarian dan mengolah informasi digital di Internet. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang diambil sebanayak 71 responden dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan rumus Mean dan Grand Mean dan penelitian dari data menggunakan skala Interval Epic Model. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa Prodi Ilmu Perpustakaan dalam memahami informasi digital selama pandemi mahasiswa Universitas Lancang Kuning adalah termasuk kategori “Sedang” dengan total nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,16 dan berada pada sekala interval 2,6-3,4. Sedangkan aspek yang perlu ditingkatkan ialah sub variabel “Panduan arah” dari indikator “Mengetahui fungsi Hypertext” yaitu rendahnya pengetahuan mahasiswa dalam penggunaan Hypertext dengan nilai rata-rata nilai sebesar 2,56.]]>

<![CDATA[The current target community service partners are Sang Nila Utama Museum employees. This service is a continuation of research activities regarding the design of the manuscript repository for the Sang Nila Utama Museum collection. Currently, all manuscript collections have been recorded, however, the public still cannot access these digital manuscripts easily, this is because the person in charge of the museum and their employees do not yet have an understanding of the advantages of using a repository. Seeing these conditions, it is necessary to conduct training for employees regarding the use of the repository. The purpose of this activity, namely (1) to provide knowledge to employees about the repository; (2) to Employees have knowledge and understanding of the use of repository services. In order to achieve the above objectives, it is necessary to hold activities, including (1) Counseling related to the museum collection repository and manuscripts; (2) brief training on using the repository service. Participants who took part in the activity totaled 5 people. The results of the service show that at first, the participants did not have an understanding of repository services, but after counseling, the participants understood the meaning and function of repository services. It is hoped that in the future, this repository service can be applied to all collections, not only manuscripts but other museum collection objects.]]>

<![CDATA[Rama Ristekdikti is an integrated portal with institutional repositories in Indonesia that functions as information technology-based scientific communication. The number of institutional repositories on the Rama Ristekdikti portal is 171, this number is not comparable to the number of universities in Indonesia, which are 4,670 universities. From this, it is necessary to conduct further research on the Rama Ristekdikti portal. The method in this research is descriptive quantitative, data collection techniques by observation and literature study. While the data analysis using the percentage equation. The results of this study are obtained 170 repositories registered in the Rama Ristekdikti portal, 9 institutions have not yet known the webometric ranking. The development of the largest institutional repository in East Java province, both private and public. The applications used are dominated by 154 E-prints, while the majority of the languages used are English. The most common type of content is student's final project. Meanwhile, the most documents uploaded to institutional repositories are Universitas Gadjah Mada. From the results of the discussion, there are several recommendations that can be given regarding the development of the Repository portal. Institutions should apply institutional repositories for those who have not applied, and institutions that have applied institutional repositories should immediately be integrated with the Rama Ristekdikti portal.]]>

<![CDATA[The salary archive used in this study is a digital archive owned by the Siak Regency Library and Archives Office. The archive is a legacy of Sultan Syarif Kasim II's government (1915-1945). There are 3000 archives available. At present, there are not many writings that reveal the contents of this historical value archive, especially those relating to staffing, whereas in this historical archive there is a description of the sultan's policies in the welfare of his people. The purpose of this research is to identify and provide archival description relating to employee salaries. The method applied in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The results showed that of the 3000 digital archives, 280 of them contained salary information for 100 employees. The identified file illustrates 3 things, namely the monitoring of the Colonial Government which was shown in the use of two languages in the archive, namely Malay and Dutch; The government sistem is centralized, because direct employment is responsible to the Sultan; The Sultan appreciates the ability and service of his employees, this is reflected in the difference in salary received by each employee based on his tenure.]]>

<![CDATA[Akreditasi perpustakan adalah sebuah pengakuan oleh Perpustakaan Nasional RI atas kinerja pengelolaan sebuah perpustakaan berdasarkan Standar Nasional Perpustakaan. Berdasarkan observasi bahwa kurang dari 1% perpustakaan sekolah di Pekanbaru belum terakreditasi, serta kurangnya pengetahuan pengelola perpustakaan sekolah untuk mempersiapkan akreditasi. Untuk itu tim memerikan solusi dengan melalukan pendampingan secara erklanjutan terhadap perpustakaan-perpustakaan sekolah di Pekanbaru. Diharapkan dapat meningkatkan mutu dan kualitas perpustakaan dan sekolah induknya.]]>

<![CDATA[The title of this research is Analysis of Media Literacy Students of the Lancang Kunning University Library Department. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of social media literacy of students in the Library Department of Lancang Kunning University. The method used in this research is descriptive quantification method. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, questionnaires, documentation, interviews, and literature study. The population and sample of this study used a saturated sample, namely the number of active Lancang Kuning University Library Science students in 2022 as many as 197 people. This study uses data analysis techniques using the mean (calculated mean) and grand mean formulas. The results of the study found that the level of social media literacy was at a good level, namely 3.61, with a range of 3.20 to 4.20. The author suggests to students of the Library Department of Lancang Kunning University to continue to improve their social media skills and be better able to use social media as a forum for disseminating information. This can be achieved through literacy activities especially on social media, and increasing awareness of the importance of social media literacy when using social media. Social media competence can also be developed through daily activities in virtual communication by using social media as a virtual communication platform.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is entiled mapping facebook posts as a promotial media for provincipal libraries throught indonesia. The purpose of this study is to find out how to map facebook posts as a promotional media for provincial libraries throught Indonesia. The technique used in this research is descriptive quantitative approach. Statisticcollection strategies the usage of observation, documentation, literature look at, and interviews. The populace in this have a look at is 34 provinces and the pattern is 22 provinces. The result of this study were found in the provinces of Lampung and West Java with 353 posts, Bangka Belitung province with 288 posts, Riau province with 263 posts, Yogyakarta province with 143 posts, Jakarta province and West Kalimantan province with 141 posts. Of the nine indicators of the benefits of library promotion, the most posted are indicators that help inform library activities with the number of posts 1343 or (47.51%), indicators can help introduce existence with the number of posts 544 or (19.24%), indicators attract attention with the number of posts as many as 364 or (12.88%), the indicator helps tell about what is in the library with number of posts 242 or (8.56%), the indicator informs the new book with the number of posts 213 or (7,53%).]]>
