Abstract

Selection of suppliers for raw materials on projects in shipyards will greatly affect the production. Because so many suppliers who can meet these needs certainly make it easy for the company. So that the best supplier selection process occurs, but on the other hand requires the company to be able to consider the factors in choosing suppliers that deserve to be the best suppliers. Analytical Hierarchy Process can be used to prioritize the best suppliers. The hierarchical model contained in the AHP method is very helpful in finding the level of criteria and subcriteria. Quality, price, shipping, service, and loyalty are the main criteria in determining the best supplier in this study. While the alternatives are suppliers of AJM, TEB, CIMT, SKS and IMW. Data processing using Microsoft Excel and V choice expert software. 11. The results obtained in this study are the quality criteria being the first priority with a weight of 0.500 followed by price, service, shipping and loyalty. And the alternative supplier of AJM is the first priority with a weight of 3,275 followed by TEB, CIMT SKS and IMW.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Sarang Laksana Mandiri is a manufacturing company in the readymix concrete manufacturing company located in Punggur-Batam, has the brand name Batam Beton, received complaints from consumers that the K-300 concrete product was not included in the quality criteria for the compressive strength of concrete so that when it was tested it reached 100%, meanwhile quality of concrete k-300 is concrete that can withstand loads weighing 300 kg / cm2 after 28 days of dry concrete. This study aims to determine the K-300 concrete design, by conducting experiments and then determining the K-300 product from civil engineering experts and concrete experience experts using the AHP and SAW methods with the criteria of dry time of concrete, compressive strength of concrete, concrete slump and material cost. aims to determine the best concrete design. The AHP method resulted in Kimson being globally superior from all criteria with a value of 0.40, Herry Huang, the second score was 0.32, the third Dwi scored 0.15, Eman scored 0.13. The SAW Kimson method is globally superior to all criteria with a value of 0.74, Herry Huang, the second score is 0.71, the third is Dwi with 0.68, Eman with 0.58.

Abstract

This journal emphasizes on the analysis of determination of optimum raw material in PT Xyz. The high raw material inventory allows the company to be flexible in fulfilling sudden product orders. However, this way results an inefficient coslt. Therefore, inventory control is one of the important working capital in a company. One of that company is PT. Xyz. It is a company located in the Tanjung Uncang Batam area. This company is engaged in manufacturing the electric engine. The needs that meet local and international market, in order for the production process to run optimally, the company must provide quality raw materials. The researcher employs quantitative descriptive method in this journal. Research variables in this journal are calculating the required sphere, ordering costs, storage costs and waiting time. Furthermore, data collection techniques in this journal are observation, interviews, and documentation. Moreover, to analyze determination of optimum raw material in PT Xyz, the research uses EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method. This method employed in this journal because it serves to protect and guard against possible shortages of raw materials, so as not to become an obstacle in the production process. From the analysis, the method of EOQ was used made inventory of raw material so efficient and the company also could save cost more than was used company policy for raw material
