Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the application of SFBT which includes the objectives, scope, procedures, and the success of its application in guidance and counseling. The research method used is literature review. The data source used is how many 20 research journals that show a connection with the problem to be studied. The data collection technique used is documentation. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The results of this study are: (1) The target of application of SFBT is school age students who are classified as children and adolescents, (2) Scope of application of SFBT the environmental space is in the form of personal, social emotional, behavioral, and academic problems, (3) The methods / techniques for applying SFBT include exceptional questions, miracle questions, scaling questions (4) The procedure for implementing SFBT consists of 3 main stages, (5) The successful implementation of SFBT, namely is effectively capable and successful in reducing aggressive behavior, increasing perceptions of social competence, self-perception, sense of coherence, self-esteem, self-efficacy, self-regulation, reducing symptoms of depression, overcoming burnout, self-concept, managing  academic stress, overcoming addiction internet, self-adjustment, understanding the problems faced, helping in understanding student needs, controlling compulsive internet use, decreasing academic procrastination behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities is to train guidance and counseling Teachers to integrateScience, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) based on neuroscience in the implementation of guidance and counseling services in schools. The implementation of community service involves partners, namely counseling teachers in Boyolali Regency, a total of 50 people. The training activity was carried out 4 times the concept of the activity namely On Job Training 1, In Service Training 1, On Job Training 2 andIn Service Training 2 and equivalent to 40 Hours of Training. The data collection technique uses the Brammer & Shostrom evaluation instrument. Data analysis techniques using. Datapretest and posttest statistically analyzed using different tests (paired sample t-test). The result is the initial measurement (pretest) mastery of teacher competencies related to neuroscience-based STEAM by 48% while the final measurement (posttest) at 73%, so there is an increase in teacher competence due to training by 25%. These results show the commitment, hard work and desire to learn of the guidance and counseling teachers who are outstanding. Hope they can do it experiential learning in their respective schools so as to create many best practice which other guidance and counseling teachers can refer to.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to test the effectiveness of The Occupational Information Network (O*Net) Content Model to Develop Career Construction for Teachers in implementing guidance and counseling services in schools. The research method is experimental with single group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 30 of Special Job Fair Teachers and 30 of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Boyolali Regency. The instrument used is the career construction scale. The data analysis technique uses a different test (paired sample t-test). Research activities include in service training and on the job training. The research results showed an increase in scores from the initial measurement (pretest) of teacher competency mastery in fostering career construction with the final measurement (posttest) of 32.509 with a significance value [2-tail] of 0.000. These results show the effectiveness of The Occupational Information Network (O*Net) Content Model to Grow Career Construction through the extraordinary commitment, hard work and desire to learn of Guidance and Counseling Teachers. The hope is that they will be able to carry out experiential learning in their respective schools so as to create many best practices that can be referred to by other Guidance and Counseling teachers.
