Abstract

Lung vital capacity is the status of physiological conditions associated with the ability to treat respiration together with the increasing of physical fitness, so lung vital capacity is a process involving the mechanism of the heart and blood vessels and blood which aims to provide O2 to cells in the body and transport CO2 out of body. The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between lung vital capacity and the physical fitness level of Pendor Football Athletes from Universitas Riau. The collecting of data in this study is data from lung vital capacity tests and physical fitness with a sample of 20 athletes. Analysis of the data that used to process data is Product Moment correlation. For determining the significance of data, it uses formulation of t distribution. The results that obtained from lung vital capacity have a significant correlation with the level of physical fitness, this is indicated by the results obtained by r count (0622) > r table (α = 0.05) = 0.456. Meanwhile, t distribution test is obtained the result of t count (3,369) > t table (1,734). So H0 is refused and Ha is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between the lung vital capacity (x) and the level of physical fitness (y).

Abstract

Background: Despite extensive research on biomechanical determinants of spike performance, evidence linking perceptual–kinaesthetic abilities to sport-specific execution remains limited. Objectives: This study examined the relationship between kinaesthetic perception and spike performance in volleyball. Methods: A correlational design was used with 40 male physical education students (non-elite players). Kinaesthetic perception was assessed using the Kinaesthetic Obstacle Test (KOT), and spike performance was evaluated through an on-court accuracy test. Pearson’s correlation was applied. Results: A significant positive relationship was found between kinaesthetic perception and spike performance (r = 0.614, p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (r² = 0.377) indicates that kinaesthetic perception accounts for 37.7% of the variance in performance. Conclusion: Kinaesthetic perception is meaningfully related to spike performance, supporting its role in perceptual-motor integration during complex open skills. However, performance is multifactorial, and findings are limited to a non-elite sample. Future studies should incorporate additional physical and perceptual variables and employ designs that allow stronger inference.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the effect of the reciprocal method on the basic skills of playing Football. This type of research is quasi-experimental, the study population was 57 male students of SMP Negeri 2 Bunut Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province, while the sample in this study was 40 students after using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was the David Lee proficiency test which was a development of David Lee made by Subagyo Irianto. Data were analyzed using statistical normality test and t-test. The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant influence of reciprocal methods on the basic skills of playing soccer for students of SMP Negeri 2 Bunut, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province.

Abstract

The purpose of this literature review is to review the scientific literature on cooperative learning research in physical education in Indonesia. Two databases (Scopus and Web of Science) were used to select articles containing information on cooperative learning in physical education. The search was conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. After the exclusion criteria, only 7 articles were included in the category. The results show that the types of research used in cooperative learning research in Indonesia vary, namely; quantitative, mixed research (quantitative and qualitative), and development. On average in the study using questionnaires and interviews in data collection. Cooperative learning research in Indonesia is also divided into three groups, (i) cooperative learning models based on local wisdom and basic skills cards (FS), (ii) cooperative learning models of TGT, STAD, and Jigsaw types in sports and online learning, (iii) cooperative learning model in instilling self-confidence, cooperation and moral values. Several limitations inherent in the review have been noted, and it is necessary to carry out further studies of this globally with literature reviews or mapping studies (bibliometric and scientometric), and it is also necessary to do about the application of cooperative learning and its impact, because in today's society, elements of elements such as social relationships, dialogue, and respect, as well as physical activity and sport, are very important.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of understanding of the concept of prayer among fourth-grade students at Nurul Jannah Elementary School, Muaro Jambi. This problem is evident in the fact that many students do not understand the correct prayer procedures, do not understand the recitations and movements of prayer, and lack awareness of the importance of prayer as a Muslim obligation. Furthermore, the learning process, which is still dominated by lectures, causes students to easily become bored and less active in learning. Therefore, a learning approach that connects the material to students' real lives is needed, one of which is through a contextual approach (Contextual Teaching and Learning/CTL). This study aims to determine the application of a contextual approach to improving the understanding of the concept of prayer among fourth-grade students at Nurul Jannah Elementary School, Muaro Jambi, and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study employed a qualitative approach with fieldwork. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects included Islamic Religious Education teachers and fourth-grade students at MI Nurul Jannah Muaro Jambi. Data were analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that implementing a contextual approach improved students' understanding of the concept of prayer. This was evident in the students' improved ability to understand the movements, recitations, and procedures of prayer, as well as their increased activeness and enthusiasm in the learning process. The contextual approach also helped students connect the learning material to their daily lives, making learning more meaningful. Supporting factors in implementing this approach included teacher support, a religious school environment, and adequate prayer facilities. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors included limited learning time, differences in student abilities, and a lack of attention on the part of some students during the learning process.
