Abstract

Cases of obesity in adolescents are due to consumption of fast food, foods high in sodium and sugar and a lack of knowledge about choosing healthy foods and supported by a lack of physical activity (Sri and Sari, 2008). Based on the 2013 Riskesdas the prevalence of obesity in Yogyakarta Province in the age group of 13- 15 years is 2.6% and DIY itself is included in 15 provinces with a high prevalence of very overweight or obese (Ministry of Health RI, 2013). Adolescents who are overweight have a 70% risk of experiencing overweight or obesity as adults (Ministry of Health Nutrition & Health, 2016)To determine the relationship between food consumption and the incidence of obesity in adolescents at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Pekanbaru. This study is a correlation study regarding the habit of consuming fast food (fast food) with the risk of obesity by using a cross sectional. This research was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Pekanbaru. with the number of respondents as many as 65 students / i. the instrument or measuring instrument used is research in the form of a Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) questionnaire using an ordinal scale. the sample technique used is simple random sampling. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the consumption habits of adolescents at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Pekanbaru still sometimes consumed (fast food) as much as 81.5% and not often (fast food) 3.1% often as much as 10.4%) normal body mass index as much as 78.5% and overweight as much as 3.1% and obese 1 18.5%. there is no relationship between consumption of fast food (fast food) and the incidence of obesity in adolescents. It is hoped that adolescents will reduce consumption of fast food and consume healthy foods with balanced nutrition and carry out physical activities such as sports with the aim of increasing weight loss

Abstract

Maternal anxiety is a psychological impact experienced by mothers during and after childbirth. Breastfeeding is a common activity done by mothers to their children. Obstacles to breast milk production may be caused by discomfort, tension, anxiety and pain. Objective This study was to determine the level of anxiety of primiparous postpartum mothers in breastfeeding. Methods Used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method, carried out on March 02 to 10, 2024 in the Siak Hulu II Health Center Working Area. The population in this study amounted to 30 primiparous post partum mothers in the Siak Hulu II Health Center Working Area using the total sampling method. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and data analysis used are univariate. The results of the study were obtained based on the characteristics of the lowest age of 20 years and the highest age of 32 years, based on the majority of the last education, namely high school (53.3%), based on the majority of occupations, namely housewives (80.0%), based on the majority of labor history, namely Sectio caesarea (73. 3%), based on the majority of postpartum days ranging from 31-40 days (66.7%) and the results of the anxiety level of primiparous postpartum mothers in the process of breastfeeding the baby There is no anxiety problem (36.7%), mild anxiety (16.7%), moderate anxiety (6.7%) severe anxiety (23.3%) and severe anxiety (16.7) Conclusion The anxiety level of some primiparous postpartum mothers in the process of breastfeeding in the working area of the Siak Hulu II health center has no anxiety problems. Suggestion It is expected that primiparous postpartum mothers know the readiness to become a mother, especially in breastfeeding the baby

Abstract

Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious disease that remains a major public health concern due to its easy transmission and high risk of relapse, especially when patients do not complete their treatment. Factors such as low income, irregular medication adherence, and lack of understanding and support from family members are the main causes of relapse. According to data from Sidomulyo Tuah Madani Public Health Center in Pekanbaru City, cases of pulmonary TB are still being found, highlighting the need for continuous preventive (praevenire) education.This community service program aimed to improve the understanding of pulmonary TB patients and their families regarding relapse prevention through an educational approach. The 8-day activity, conducted between April and June, involved 10 patients divided into two groups (5 at 8:00 AM and 5 at 10:00 AM), with a total of 82 participants taking part in counseling and group discussions. Educational topics included the importance of medication adherence, therapy completion, quality of life improvement, and family involvement.The results showed an increase in participants' knowledge and awareness about the importance of completing TB treatment. Although family involvement varied, participants’ enthusiasm indicated that the educational activities were effective in increasing understanding of TB relapse prevention.

Abstract

Background: Diabetes Mellitus (DM), which occurs due to uncontrolled blood glucose levels, can cause neuropathy, especially in the lower extremities, resulting in decreased or loss of foot sensitivity. Research Objective: This study aims to determine sensitivity after ROM. Research Method: This study used a direct assessment method with respondents and data collection. Research Results: The results of this study indicate that after performing Active Foot Range of Motion (ROM), foot sensitivity can be increased and numbness and tingling can be eliminated. Conclusion: Providing non-invasive therapy Pharmacological interventions in the form of Active Foot ROM (ROM) can be used as an alternative to increase foot sensitivity and can be applied independently by people with diabetes.

Abstract

Potensi usaha madu lokal di kawasan hutan dapat diperkuat melalui edukasi dan pendampingan berbasis masyarakat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kelompok peternak lebah di Hutan Pendidikan Universitas Hasanuddin, Kabupaten Maros, dalam produksi dan pengembangan usaha madu Trigona dan madu hutan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pretest-posttest, pelatihan partisipatif, dan penyerahan alat produksi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan, seperti pengetahuan tentang pengaruh suhu dan kelembapan terhadap kestabilan madu naik dari 53,33% menjadi 93,33%. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pada pemahaman peserta terhadap aspek kualitas madu, budidaya lebah, pengolahan tanpa pemanasan, strategi pemasaran melalui media sosial, hingga kerja sama antarpeternak. Pengetahuan mengenai kadar air, fermentasi, dan teknik panen madu yang ramah lingkungan juga meningkat. Edukasi ini membekali peserta dengan praktik budidaya, pengolahan, dan pemasaran madu secara berkelanjutan. Harapannya, model kegiatan ini dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain yang memiliki potensi lebah madu lokal sebagai sumber ekonomi dan konservasi.
