Abstract

The impact of not optimal waste management in Jakamulya Urban Village, Bekasi City, which is always flooded by garbage and Situ Wo which cannot hold water. Efforts to manage waste from its source have been made with waste banks but have not been optimal. The objective of the Regional Partnership Program (PKW) with Bekasi City is to increase community participation in waste management with the 3R concept (reuse, recycle, reduce). Based on the results of implementing the PKW program, it can be concluded that the operation of the Mutiara Waste Bank in Pondok Suryamandala, Jakamulya Village, Bekasi City based on TPS 3R is the key to handling community-based (communal) waste which is very effective for waste management that is directly the community as a plus manager (home industry owner). Without this communal system, it is impossible for waste to be handled completely or sustainably. Cultivating good waste disposal methods starting from the household environment to submitting waste to the Waste Bank is an effective method at the community level that will ultimately be independent of the community in managing their own waste. Organizing TPS 3R into a center for the maximum utilization of organic and inorganic waste is a communal-based waste management program that will definitely cut the chain of waste distribution from TPS 3R to landfills.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang dampak buruk dan cara pencegahan dari perubahan iklim. Memberikan penguatan kepada masyarakat pasca bencana agar mereka mampu, tangguh, adaptif dan siap menghadapi bencana dimasa depan. Metode dalam kegiatan ini ceramah, demonstrasi, dan diskusi yang dilakukan penyuluhan dengan tahap (1) tahap perencanaan penyuluhan, (2) pelaksanaan penyuluhan secara luring, dan (3) evaluasi kegiatan penyuluhan dengan pre-test dan post test. Hasil yang diperoleh peran keluarga dalam pengembangan karakter anak, meningkatkan gizi untuk mencegah stunting, masalah sanitasi yang baik, dan peran keluarga dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan, memerlukan pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang lebih baik lagi agar terjadi peningakatan yang maksimal. Sehingga diperlukan pendidikan untuk memberikan pengetahuan perihal ketahanan pascabencana dalam keluarga.

Abstract

The issue of the environment has become a major concern globally. Environmental literacy plays a crucial role in empowering individuals to address current environmental challenges. To assess the level of environmental literacy among students, this research focused on evaluating the abilities of students at SMP Negeri 158 Jakarta, a school committed to the Adiwiyata program. The study employed a descriptive approach involving 62 eighth-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected through a series of interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistical analysis methods, assessing scores for each environmental literacy indicator. The research findings indicated that the majority of students demonstrated a moderate level of environmental literacy in cognitive indicators, reaching 48%. Meanwhile, the affective indicators showed that the majority of students were in the high category, at 56%. For behavioral indicators, the majority of students were in the moderate category, reaching 76%. The school continues to strive to improve students' environmental literacy as part of efforts to cultivate behaviors that reflect care and awareness for the environment. These actions aim to shape students with a strong and sustainable environmental culture.

Abstract

This research is aimed at elevating the learning outcomes in Social Studies for the 8B class of SMP Negeri 16 Jakarta by integrating digital literacy into the students' curriculum. Employing a Classroom Action Research method, the study spanned three cycles, involving 35 students from the aforementioned class. Conducted from March to May 2024 at SMP Negeri 16 Jakarta, data collection included observation, testing, and documentation. Results revealed a significant enhancement in student academic performance through the implementation of digital literacy in Social Studies instruction. Analysis across cycles demonstrated consistent improvement in learning mastery, with percentages escalating from 62.85% in the first cycle to 77.14% in the second, and ultimately reaching 85.71% in the third cycle. Beyond academic achievement, the integration of digital literacy fostered active student engagement in the learning process. Students participated more vigorously in discussions, shared information, and adeptly utilized technology to access learning resources. This underscores the dual role of digital literacy: not only as a means of information retrieval but also as a tool for fostering deeper student engagement. Consequently, these findings offer valuable insights for enhancing educational quality, particularly in leveraging digital technology to facilitate more effective and interactive learning experiences.

Abstract

The interest of students to become teachers is very worrying, as well as education students to become teachers really need attention. The importance of interest as a motivation for prospective teacher students to become professional teachers is the basis for the need to increase student interest in becoming teachers. This research aims to determine the influence of the campus teaching program on interest in becoming teachers among Jakarta State University students participating in the campus teaching program. This study uses a quantitative approach. The subjects in this research were Jakarta State University students participating in the class 5 teaching campus program. The results of the research showed that there was a positive influence of the teaching campus program on interest in becoming teachers among Jakarta State University students as indicated by a positive regression coefficient of 0.479. This means that every time there is an addition of one unit of the campus teaching program variable, the value of the variable interest in becoming a teacher increases by 0.479. This interest is supported by campus teaching programs, feelings about teaching, attention to the quality of education, ideals, and perceptions of the teacher's profession & welfare. Meanwhile, what hinders students from becoming teachers is mostly influenced by the perception of the teacher's profession and welfare as well as social friends. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the campus teaching program has a positive effect on the interest in becoming teachers at Jakarta State University students.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar pada peserta didik adalah sebuah kekuatan yang berfungsi untuk pendorong usaha dan pencapaian prestasi. Adanya motivasi yang baik dalam belajar akan menciptakan hasil yang baik. Perilaku interpersonal guru juga menjadi penting dengan pola interaksi yang terbentuk setiap harinya dapat menentukan terbentuknya lingkungan belajar yang menunjang keberhasilan proses pembelajaran itu sendiri seperti dengan membuat kondisi kelas yang nyaman dan kondusif. Hubungan interpersonal antara guru dengan peserta didik menjadi komponen utama dari manajemen kelas. Namun sayangnya, banyak guru menghadapi masalah dalam mengelola ruang kelas yang kurang baik. Masih sering kita temui pula pada peserta didik yang belum mencerminkan memiliki motivasi belajar yang tinggi, bahkan masih banyaknya kesulitan belajar yang dialami peserta didik dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar di sekolah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara perilaku interpersonal guru dengan motivasi belajar IPS peserta didik SMP Negeri 50 Jakarta. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak, pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian, dan analisis data yang bersifat kuantitatif/statistik dengan tujuan untuk dapat menguji hipotesis yang telah ditentukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif dan searah antara perilaku interpersonal guru dengan motivasi belajar IPS peserta didik SMP Negeri 50 Jakarta.

Abstract

Abstract The Ministry of Environment and Forestry (LHK) noted that East Jakarta has the highest annual waste generation in DKI Jakarta, reaching 836.9 thousand tons per year, with the largest contribution to the Bantargebang TPST of 620.96 thousand tons (27.14% of total waste) in 2021. The pandemic has changed people's consumption patterns with the increasing use of double wrapping, which adds to the problem of non-organic waste. The student council management owned by the partner school, SMP Negeri 158 East Jakarta, consists of students who have more awareness of environmental management. This activity was developed in an effort to protect the environment and generate economic value for each member. This concept of socialpreneurship takes advantage of business opportunities in the community to have a positive impact, focusing on the problem of high-economic value waste production and the marketing of plastic ore from plastic bottles that have been grouped. The solutions offered to these problems are in the form of assistance for school leaders and Adiwiyata coaches in fostering student socialpreneurship, empowering student council administrators to sort non-organic waste with high economic value using hypercontent modules, and revitalizing school waste banks with an inventory of equipment such as shredders, drop boxes, and greenhouses. This activity was carried out by involving partners through observation and FGD at SMP Negeri 158 East Jakarta and simulations at the Pok Lisa Waste Bank to understand the process of processing plastic waste that has economic value. Keywords: socialpreneurship; revitalizing; waste bank; Hypercontent Abstrak Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (LHK) mencatat bahwa Jakarta Timur memiliki timbulan sampah tahunan tertinggi di DKI Jakarta, mencapai 836,9 ribu ton per tahun, dengan kontribusi terbesar ke TPST Bantargebang sebesar 620,96 ribu ton (27,14% dari total sampah) pada 2021. Pandemi mengubah pola konsumsi masyarakat dengan meningkatnya penggunaan double wrapping, yang menambah masalah sampah non-organik. Pengurus OSIS yang dimiliki oleh sekolah mitra yaitu SMP Negeri 158 Jakarta Timur beranggotakan siswa-siswi yang memiliki kesadaran lebih terhadap pengelolaan lingkungan. Kegiatan ini dikembangkan dalam upaya menjaga lingkungan serta menghasilkan nilai ekonomi untuk setiap anggotanya. Konsep socialpreneurship ini memanfaatkan peluang bisnis di tengah masyarakat untuk memberi dampak positif, dengan fokus pada masalah produksi sampah bernilai ekonomi tinggi dan pemasaran bijih plastik dari botol plastik yang sudah dikelompokkan. Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk permasalahan tersebut berupa pendampingan bagi pimpinan sekolah dan pembina Adiwiyata dalam menumbuhkan socialpreneurship siswa, pemberdayaan pengurus OSIS untuk memilah sampah non-organik bernilai ekonomi tinggi menggunakan modul hypercontent, serta revitalisasi bank sampah sekolah dengan inventarisasi peralatan seperti mesin pencacah, drop box, dan rumah kaca. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan mitra melalui observasi dan FGD di SMP Negeri 158 Jakarta Timur serta simulasi di Bank Sampah Pok Lisa untuk memahami proses pengolahan sampah plastik yang memiliki nilai ekonomi. Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Terintegrasi Kuliah Kerja Nyata ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan jiwa socialpreneurship Relawan Peduli Lingkungan di SMPN 9 dan SMPN 21 Kota Bekasi. Jiwa socialpreneurship diharapkan dapat dipahami oleh siswa sekaligus diaplikasikan dalam pengelolaan sampah non organik sehari-hari, baik sampah rumah tangga, maupun sekolah. Prioritas permasalahan mitra yang akan ditangani dalam program ini adalah permasalahan dalam sistem pemilahan dan produksi sampah yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi, permasalahan dalam pemasaran ketika produksi bijih plastik dari berbagai jenis botol plastik sudah dikelompokan. Kegiatan ini dirancang dengan selalu memperhatikan keterlibatan mitra. Metode pelaksanaan berupa observasi dan FGD yang dilakukan di sekolah mitra yaituSMP Negeri 9 dan SMP Negeri 21 Kota Bekasi. Selain itu dilakukan simulasi pemilahan dan pencacahan botol plastik dengan menggunakan mesin insenerator. Solusi yang dapat diberikan dari setiap permasalahan adalah se agai berikut: (1) Memberikan pendampingan untuk pembina ekstrakulikuler lingkungan dalam menumbuhkan socialpreneurship siswa., (2) Memberdayakan relawan peduli lingkungan dalam memilah sampah non organik yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi, dan (3) Melakukan simulasi pengolahan sampah di Bank Sampah mitra dalam rangka menumbuhkan socialpreneurship.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need to develop Arabic teaching materials models that contain multicultural-based character education values, especially in Indonesian foreign school (Sekolah Indonesia Luar Negeri), Jeddah, Riyadh, and Makkah. This research is the first step of the research and development model, which is to identify the needs of students, Arabic teachers, and school principals for Arabic teaching materials that contain multicultural values. The aim is to make learning Arabic at Indonesian foreign schools easier, more effective, fun, and produce Indonesian diaspora students who have a spirit of nationalism and respect plurality. Fun, and make Indonesian diaspora students confident in nationalism and respect plurality.  This study indicates that Arabic teaching materials in Indonesian schools abroad, especially in Arab countries, really need to be developed. The forms of development of teaching materials are manifested in three aspects, namely (1) related to Arabic language teaching materials based on the values ​​of national character education, by learning objectives, contextual with the times; (2) aspects of application technology, namely by developing Arabic teaching materials equipped with multimedia learning media such as audio, video, animation and others to make it easier to learn; (3) aspects of character education, namely Arabic teaching materials that contain character education values, such as religious values, nationalism, honesty, independence, cooperation, integrity, hard work and responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to find out in depth the application of the 3A strategy (Attractions, Activities and Accessibility) in the Religious Tourism of the Kapal Bosok Mosque. The 3A concept is one of the requirements for developing a tourist destination. Each tourist destination must have its own uniqueness and characteristics that make it a tourist attraction. This study uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, field notes and documentation. The results of the study show that the religious tourism of the ship bosok mosque is a religious tourism destination that has implemented the 3A strategy in its development where the attractions or appeal of the religious tourism of the ship bosok mosque lie in the shape of the building and history. Activities or activities for tourists have been provided by the manager and accessibility is sufficient and becomes a level of convenience for tourists
