Abstract

Kata Kunci: Buah Pandan Laut, Healthcare, Nagalawan, Plester  ABSTRACT Total females in Nagalawan village 1,271 with a sex ratio of 101.5. Percentage of the number of couples of childbearing age in Nagalawan Village. The population of Nagalawan village with a total population of 2,561 female sexes 1,271 is a potential that should be empowered, the application of an ecotourism system in this mangrove ecosystem is an approach in the sustainable use of the ecosystem. Ecotourism activities are an effective alternative to overcome environmental problems in this ecosystem such as the level of overexploitation by the community by creating economic alternatives for the community (Muhaerin, 2008). Tourism carried out in this context has an inseparable part with conservation efforts, local economic empowerment and mutual respect for cultural differences or culture. The shift in the concept of world tourism to the ecotourism model is due to the saturation of tourists to visit artificial attractions. In addition to being a tourist spot because of the beauty of its mangrove beach, it turns out that Sei Nagalawan village also has natural wealth in the form of wild plants that grow on the coast, namely sea pandanus (Pandanus Tectorius). This plant is a plant in the mangrove area with interesting fruit characteristics because of its striking colour like pineapple fruit, and it turns out that it is not just an interesting colour but the content - the content in this sea pandan fruit includes total phenolics and high chemical constituents (phenolics, flavonoids, steroids, triterpenoids, saponins and glycosides) has potential as an antibacterial. Mangrove tourism in Nagalawan village has the potential for development not only as agro-tourism but can also be developed into healthcare tourism by empowering women's groups, cooperatives and local governments in processing natural potential as anti-bacterial by making plasters. Keywords: Sea Pandanus Fruit, Healthcare, Nagalawan, Plasters

Abstract

TB control efforts are carried out by implementing the DOTS (Directly Observed Treatment Short-course) strategy which is a short-term treatment with direct supervision. To ensure regularity of treatment, a supervisor of taking medicine (PMO) is needed, namely the family. The team conducted health education activities for 30 families who have TB patients at home in Medan Sunggal District. The method used was direct counselling accompanied by questions and answers with the family. Activities were carried out that aimed to provide directed education to families who have TB patients at home to remember to always take medicine. Feedback from this activity is that families understand and recognize the signs and symptoms of TB due to forgetting to take medicine and the role of supervision in taking medicine is very important in supporting their recovery.

Postpartum mothers were surveyed using a questionnaire about the history of childbirth trauma, the knowledge of postpartum mothers about self-care during the postpartum period, and the level of self-efficacy of postpartum mothers. The results of the study showed several factors that could affect the mother's self-efficacy in postpartum recovery, namely age (26.14 (4.96); p = 0.00), traumatic experience during childbirth (1.86 (0.34); p = 0.000), and mother's occupation (1.597 (0.49); p = 0.02), and knowledge (4.38 (1.68); p = 0.000). Nurses need to provide prenatal health education to increase women's beliefs about their behavior during labor and postpartum recovery.
