Abstract

Pendahuluan; Remaja Indonesia menempati peringkat teratas terhadap kurangnya mengonsumsi buah dan sayur. Dampak yang ditimbulkan akibat kurang mengkonsumsi sayur dan buah adalah penyakit degenaratif. Rendahnya pengetahuan gizi salah satu penyebab dari kurangnya konsumsi buah dan sayur. Akibatnya masyarakat tidak dapat menerapkan gizi seimbang dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu cara meningkatkan pengetahun gizi yaitu edukasi gizi dengan media instagram. Tujuan; untuk mengetahui perbedaan skor rata-rata sebelum dan sesudah diberikannya intervensi pengetahuan gizi tentang sayur dan buah pada siswa-siswi SMA Malnu Pusat Menes Banten melalui instagram. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi-Experimental Design. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa sebanyak 66 dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan di bagi menjadi kelompok intrvensi instagram dan kelompok intervensi power point.  Jumlah sampel masing-masing kelompok 33 siswa.  Analisis data diperoleh dari hasil kuesioner pre dan post-test yang diolah menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil; uji Wilcoxon menunjukan perbedaan pengetahuan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan setelah diberikan edukasi tentang sayur dan buah pada kedua kelompok dengan nilai p=0.00 ( 0.05). Hasil uji Mann-Whitney menunjukan adanya perbedaan skor rata-rata antar dua kelompok nilai p = 0,00 (p0,05). Kesimpulan: Edukasi gizi terkait sayur dan buah menggunakan media instagram lebih berpengaruh meningkatkan pengetahuan. Media instagram dapat dijadikan sebagai media promosi kesehatan yang menyeluruh untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang kesehatan terutama terkait gizi.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Dyslipidemia is a major factor in cardiovascular disease which can cause atherosclerosis, ischemic stroke and peripheral arteries. Dyslipidemia can be predicted by anthropometric measurements. The purpose of this study was to determine the anthropometric measurements that have the highest validity in detecting lipid profiles compared to biochemical assessments in poly cardiac patients at Budhi Asih Regional Hospital, East Jakarta. Research conducted in cross sectional method with quota sampling. This study was conducted on 75 cardiac poly patients. Data was collected by anthropometric measurements of body weight, height, waist circumference and hip circumference. Data on lipid levels were obtained from hospital medical record data. The results showed the lipid profile of normal HDL patients (73.30%), Normal LDL (58.70%), Triglycerides normal (65.30%), Total cholesterol was not normal (52%). Anthropometric value of BMI Obesity (44%), high RLPP (85.3%) and high waist circumference (74.7%). The conclusion of the analysis showed that BMI had poor sensitivity and specificity values ​​for all lipid profiles (Se <60%). RLPP has a very good sensitivity value on all lipid profiles (se> 90%) but has an unfavorable specificity value (Sp <60%). Waist circumference has a relatively good sensitivity (Se> 70%) in LDL, Triglycerides and Total Cholesterol, whereas in HDL it is quite good (Se> 60%). But it has poor specificity (Sp <60%). The results of the three anthropometric measurements RLPP is the best measurement in detecting lipid profiles in cardiac poly patients compared with BMI and Waist Circumference. Abstract

Frequent consumption with large portions of ultra-processed food could increase the risk of death from degenerative diseases, which can be understood through the PRECEDE-PROCEED model theory in determining factors that influence ultra-processed food consumption patterns in adolescents. This research aimed to determine the relationship between knowledge related to ultra-processed food, exposure to food product advertisements, and peer influence with the consumption patterns of ultra-processed food among young adults. The independent variables in this study were knowledge related to ultra-processed food, exposure to food product advertisements, and peer influence, while the dependent variable was the consumption pattern of ultra-processed food. The research method employed was quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaire completion from 158 subjects. Sampling was determined using accidental sampling techniques. Data analysis in this study was conducted with bivariate analysis using chi-square statistical tests. The results indicated that 83.5% of the subjects consumed ultra-processed food frequently, with the analysis yielding a p-value of 0.204 for knowledge related to ultra-processed food, a p-value of 0.203 for exposure to food product advertisements, and a p-value of 0.135 for peer influence. It can be concluded that there was no significant difference in proportions between knowledge related to ultra-processed food, exposure to food product advertisements, and peer influence on the consumption pattern of ultra-processed food among university students.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between the intake of vitamins (vitamin C and vitamin D), minerals (iron and calcium), and physical activity with the menstrual cycle in adolescent girls at SMAN 74 Jakarta. Methodology: The population used was all adolescent girls and a sample of 87 adolescent girls at SMAN 74 was obtaines. The study design use cross-sectional with a purposive sampling technique. The SQFFQ using interviews is used to get data on vitamin and mineral intake, a questionnaire is used to get the data on the menstruation cycle, the IPAQ using interviews is used to get the data on physical activity among women student in SMAN74 Jakarta. Statistical analysis using chi-square with a significant level of 5% (vitamin C, iron, and physical activity) and fisher exact (vitamin D and calcium).Results: The results of this study found menstrual cycle irregularity is still high adolescent girls, adequate vitamin C intake, insufficient intake of vitamin D, iron, calcium, and heavy physical activity in adolescent girls. This study that states there is a significant relationship between iron intake and the menstrual cycle, while intake of vitamin C, vitamin D, calcium, and physical activity there is no relationship.Applications/Originality/Value: This study that states there is a significant relationship between iron intake and the menstrual cycle. For adolescent girls, they should increase their intake of nutritional sources, especially iron so that they pay more attention to the menstrual cycle they experience for reproductive health.

Abstract

Central obesity is more common in women aged ? 30 years. Upon entering the age of 30 years, the body’s metabolism decreases resulting in biological changes. If a person doesn’t control excessive food intake, body fat will begin to accumulate, and lack of physical activity can cause central obesity. This study aims to determine the relationship of energy intake, macro nutrients, fiber and sedentary lifestyle with central obesity. This cross sectional study has a sample of 106 women aged 30 years. Samples were selected using simple random sampling. Data related to respondent characteristics, energy intake, macro nutrients, fiber and sedentary lifestyle were collected using structured interviews. Central obesity data is obtained through measurement of waist circumference. Data analysis was performed using the chi-square test. 77.4% of respondents experience central obesity. The results showed that central obesity was significantly related to energy (p = 0.002), fat (p = 0.000), carbohydrate (p = 0.000), and sedentary lifestyle (p = 0.001). In contrast, protein intake (p = 0.082) and fiber (p = 0.226) did not show a significant relationship with central obesity. Conclusions Energy, fett, carbohydrate and sedentary lifestyle intake are associated with central obesity in women aged ? 30 years in the Serang village, Banten. It is recommended for women aged ? 30 years to pay attention to food intake and increase physical activity.

The prevalence of obesity among Civil Servants (PNS) in DKI Jakarta Province is 24.70% (Ministry of Health, 2018).Objectives: To determine the relationship between nutrient intake and emotional eating with the incidence of obesity in employees at the South Jakarta Community Health Center Area.Methods: This type of quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study was 160 employees, with a sample size of 105 respondents. The sampling technique uses stratified sampling. Analysis used chi-square and Fisher's exact tests.Results: Show’s that there is a relationship between energy intake, protein, fat, carbohydrates, and emotional eating with the incidence of obesity, and there is no relationship between fiber and the incidence of obesityConclusion: It was concluded that the incidence of obesity was influenced by energy intake (p = 0.003, PR = 2.182), protein (p = 0.000, PR = 2.197), fat (p = 0.00, PR = 0.000), KH (p = 0.006, PR = 2.156), emotional eating (p = 0.002, PR = 1,810), although not fiber intake (p = 1.000).

Abstract

The indicators of food products quality are assessed by ingredients and packaging. This community partnership program activity aims to train parents of students at PKBM An-Nur East Jakarta to be able to read and understand the contents of food packaging labels such as nutritional information, production codes, expiration dates, halal logos, composition, and food packaging codes that are useful for parents of students in preparing their children's nutritional needs. This program began with the provision of a pre-test, education using lecture techniques to 50 participants (parents and teachers), filling out a post-test, and evaluating activities. There was an increase in the average post-test score (87) compared to the pre-test score (61). Lecture techniques and providing realistic examples effectively increased parents' understanding of food safety and reading nutrition labels at PKBM An-Nur Jakarta.

Abstract

Program Indonesia Sehat dengan Pendekatan Keluarga (PISPK) adalah suatu program yang mempunyai sasaran meningkatnya derajat kesehatan dan status gizi. Kader adalah pihak - pihak yang mempunyai peranan dalam pencapaian PISPK dan menurunkan angka kesakitan. Dari 12 indikator PISPK, tuberkulosis dan hipertensi merupakan prioritas masalah yang ditemukan di Kelurahan Paku Jaya Kota Tangerang Selatan. Tujuan program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman kader tentang penatalaksanaan TB dengan pengobatan secara tuntas, hipertensi dengan mempraktikkan langsung pembuatan teh belimbing wuluh guna mengontrol tekanan darah tinggi dan sosialisasi rumah tanpa asap rokok. Peserta yang hadir sebanyak 30 orang kader. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari penyuluhan dan demonstrasi. Hasil pretest dan postest menunjukkan ada perbedaan pengetahuan kader sebelum dan setelah diberikan materi penyuluhan. (p=0,000). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan kader dalam tatalaksana tuberkulosis, hipertensi, dan rokok dengan Program Indonesia Sehat Pendekatan Keluarga (PISPK) melalui penyuluhan dan demonstrasi langsung.The Healthy Indonesia Program with a Family Approach (PISPK) is a program that targets improving health and nutritional status. Cadres are the parties who have a role in achieving PISPK and reducing morbidity. Of the 12 PISPK indicators, tuberculosis and hypertension are priority problems found in Paku Jaya Village, South Tangerang City. The purpose of this community service is to increase cadres' understanding of TB management with complete treatment, hypertension by practicing directly making starfruit tea to control high blood pressure and socializing smoke-free homes. 30 cadres attended. Method of this activity consists of 3 stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The implementation of activities consists of counselling and demonstrations. The results of the pretest and posttest showed a difference in cadres' knowledge before and after being given counselling materials. (p = 0.000). It can be concluded that There is an increase in cadres' knowledge in the management of tuberculosis, hypertension, and smoking with the Healthy Indonesia Program with a Family Approach (PISPK) through counselling and direct demonstrations.
