Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi mahasiswa Prodi PPKn Universitas Palangka Raya tentang pentingnya partisipasi politik pemilih pemula pada pemilu presiden 2024. Sebagai mahasiswa yang mempelajari politik dan demokrasi, persepsi mahasiswa prodi PPKn sangat penting guna menambah pengetahuan baru. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini dapat dijadikan bahan informasi tentang bagaimana sifat pemilih pemula yang akan berpartisipasi dalam politik pemilu presiden 2024. Terakhir, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pentingnya partisipasi politik pemilih pemula pada pemilu presiden 2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, dan analisis dokumen terkait. Partisipan penelitian meliputi mahasiswa prodi PPKn Universitas Palangka Raya, serta pihak terkait sebagai pemilih pemula pada pemilu presiden 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi politik pemilih pemula dapat dengan mudah dipengaruhi. Hal ini terjadi karena partisipasi politik pemilih pemula sangat tergolong labil dan masih ikut-ikutan dalam menentukan pilihannya. Kelabilan ini disebabkan pengaruh dari faktor media sosial karena tanpa disadari sebagai pemilih pemula dapat menerima informasi palsu (hoax), selain itu juga faktor lingkungan sosial dapat mempengaruhi partisipasi pemilih pemula dengan menerima doktrin-doktrin dari orang di sekitarnya sehingga pemilih pemula memilih tidak berdasarkan hati nuraninya sendiri.

Abstract

This research aims to describe early marriage and its implications for school dropout rates in Tumbang Habaon Village. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The results of this research are (1). Description of early marriage. The implications for the school dropout rate in Tumbang Habaon village, Tewah sub-district, Gunung Mas Regency. This has happened, with several school-age children having early marriages while still at school. Early marriage often occurs in this village, which is caused by the majority of people marrying at a young age. This has a major impact on public education, resulting in generally low levels of education. In addition, in this village, educational services only cover junior secondary education, whereas to continue to senior secondary level, children have to leave the village. This causes children to go to school without parental supervision. (2) The main factor that causes early marriage to occur is the child's desire to get married and it is supported by the blessing of the parents so that the marriage will happen. This is also supported by the rule that there are no sanctions for early marriage so that people are very free to get married. at an early age. Apart from that, there are economic, social and cultural factors that occur in the community

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive Sparkol VideoScribe learning video integrated with the case method in the Pancasilacourse, which will enable students to understand the Pancasila material better. The problem is the lack of interactive learning mediathat students can access, especially when learning Pancasila. This research uses the type of research development (Research andDevelopment) with the 4-D development model with the stages of defining, designing, developing and dissemination. Thedevelopment stages are integrated in the activities of 1) Integration of Pancasila material, namely the History of Pancasila Formulation, Pancasila as an Ethical System and Pancasila as the Basis for Science and Technology Development; 2) Integrating the material that has been developed into the Sparkol VideoScribe application; 3) Development of Sparkol VideoScribe Interactive Video integrated with Case Method; 4) Preparation of validation instruments and validation of Sparkol VideoScribe Interactive Video Integrated with Case Method by material experts and media experts; 5) Implementing videos that have beendeveloped to students while reflecting and evaluating; 6) Disseminating research products to students. The results of this studyare based on the results of material expert validation obtained a result of 85% with the category "Very Valid". In addition, basedon the assessment of media experts, the result is 75% with the category "Valid". Based on the assessment results from material andmedia expert validators, the interactive video learning media Sparkol VideoScribe is suitable for use in the Pancasila learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the free fire game on students' social behavior at SDN 3 Tangkiling, Sukamulya Village, Tangkiling, Bukit Batu District, Palangka Raya City. This online game affects students' social behavior and disrupts learning activities both at home and at school. These include students being lazy about studying, not concentrating, not sleeping enough, and being lazy about doing other activities. This study used a quantitative approach. The sample studied was 30 students of grades IV, V, VI SD Negeri 3 Kota Tangkiling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using data analysis techniques consisting of normality tests, homogeneity tests, linear regression tests, validity tests and reliability tests. After that the data is used using hypothesis tests including f- test and t-test. Based on the results of research conducted by the t-test, the calculated t value = 8.905 is greater than the table t value = 2.048, at a significance level of 5%. This shows a significant influence of variable X on variable Y. So it can be concluded that there is a negative and significant influence of online games on student behavior at SDN 3 Tangkiling, Sukamulya Village, Tangkiling, Bukit Batu District, Palangka Raya City

Abstract

Secara umum tujuan penggunaan media pembelajaran adalah untuk membantu menyampaikan informasi berupa materi dari guru kepada siswa, agar mudah dimengerti, menarik, dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu produk berupa media pembelajaran permainan catur pada materi kerja sama dan gotong royong kelas VII SMP Negeri 16 Palangka Raya.  Pelaksanaan penelitian menggunakan metode research and development (R & D) model 4-D yang terdiri dari tahap define (pendefenisian), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran). Namun pada penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai tahap Development (Pengembangan). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran catur terdiri dari tahap define (Pendefinisian dilakukan melalui analisis karakteristik peserta didik dan analisis materi. Tahap design (Perancangan) yakni merancang media menggunakan format 2 dimensi, ukuran 1,5, jenis huruf font Open Sans ukuran 11 dan format ITC Motter Corpus, penyusunan 50 soal terkait materi kerja sama, membuat langkah-langkah permainan catur yang meliputi persiapan, pembagian kelompok, pelaksanaan permainan. Tahap develop (Pengembangan) dilakukan melalui pencetakan design untuk dilakukan validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Adapun hasil validasi ahli media memperoleh persentase rata-rata skor 89,70%, hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh presentase rata-rata 98%. Sehingga diperoleh Kesimpulan bahwa permainan catur sangat layak digunakan untuk pelajaran PPKn materi kerja sama dan gotong royong.

Abstract

This research begins with the problem of bullying behavior at a junior high school in Palangka Raya, where teachers often get complaints from students who cry because they are bullied by their friends and teachers' requests to make posters that educate students about bullying behavior. This study aims to develop posters as media to prevent bullying behavior at a junior high school in Palangka Raya. The method used in this research is RnD (Research and Development), which has steps proposed by Borg and Gall. This study uses quantitative and qualitative data to process the results of expert lecturer reviews and descriptive statistics based on a Likert scale. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, validation sheets, and questionnaires. The results of expert lecturer validation of the material received a score of 93% with an outstanding category, and the results of expert lecturer validation of the media received a score of 86% with an excellent category. The results of product trials on 16 students get an average percentage of 85% in the very good category.

Abstract

Smartphones have become an inseparable part of adolescent life, including in the educational environment. This study aims to analyze the effect of smartphone usage duration on the concentration of learning of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through a Likert scale-based questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 40 students selected using purposive sampling techniques. Validity and reliability tests showed that the research instrument had good quality. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between smartphone usage and students' concentration of learning. Based on a simple linear regression analysis, a regression equation was obtained (Y = 1.570 + 0.753X), which showed that every increase in smartphone usage had an impact on decreasing concentration of learning. In addition, the Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks Test with a significance value (p <0.001) showed a significant difference in concentration of learning before and after smartphone use. This study has limitations in sample coverage and has not considered other external factors that can affect concentration of learning. Therefore, further research is recommended to use a wider sample and consider other aspects such as learning motivation and educational environment. ABSTRAKSmartphone telah menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dalam kehidupan remaja, termasuk dalam lingkungan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh durasi penggunaan smartphone terhadap konsentrasi belajar siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner berbasis skala Likert. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 40 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penelitian memiliki kualitas yang baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penggunaan smartphone dan konsentrasi belajar siswa. Berdasarkan analisis regresi linear sederhana, diperoleh persamaan regresi (Y = 1,570 + 0,753X ), yang menunjukkan bahwa setiap peningkatan dalam penggunaan smartphone berdampak pada penurunan konsentrasi belajar. Selain itu, uji Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks Test dengan nilai signifikansi (p<0,001) menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan dalam konsentrasi belajar sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan smartphone. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan dalam cakupan sampel dan belum mempertimbangkan faktor eksternal lain yang dapat mempengaruhi konsentrasi belajar. Oleh karena itu, penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk menggunakan sampel yang lebih luas dan mempertimbangkan aspek lain seperti motivasi belajar dan lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

In the 21st century digital era, technological advancements have significantly impacted education, demanding critical thinking skills to support students' career and life development. This study aims to examine the application of e-scrapbooks in case-based learning as a method to enhance students' critical thinking skills. The research uses action research with a qualitative approach, analyzed through the Spiral Model of Kemmis and Taggart. The subjects were 86 students enrolled in the Basic Social and Cultural Sciences course. Results showed that students, when creating e-scrapbook content, identified relevant issues in education, society, and culture, formulated questions, and analyzed cases. They then sourced, reduced, and evaluated the credibility of data before presenting, revising based on feedback, and consulting with lecturers. A questionnaire indicated a 77.71% positive response, categorized as "Good," confirming that case-based e-scrapbook creation effectively enhanced students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this reserach to examine and analyze the implementation of social and religious rehabilitation during the COVID-19 pandemic for Narcotics addicts at the Galilea Drug Rehabilitation Center in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan. In addition, what impacts arise as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic on the implementation of the existing rehabilitation program at the Rehabilitation Center. The study was conducted qualitatively through a descriptive analysis approach with purposive sampling technique through interviews with the management of the rehabilitation center, guardians of addicts, and representatives of addicts who have completed their rehabilitation period. The results showed that the social rehabilitation program in the form of a Therapeutic Community (TC) was the application of a structured environmental control method to change behavior in the context of a responsible community between fellow residents as well as helping oneself. Religious programs carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic are the development of thought and spirituality

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan media sosial TikTok, khususnya konten streamer game, terhadap gaya bahasa kasar siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa survei, observasi, dan wawancara mendalam. Data diperoleh dari 40 siswa kelas XI serta guru PPKn melalui Google Form dan wawancara terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 95% siswa merupakan pengguna aktif TikTok, dengan sebagian besar menonton konten streamer game yang mengandung bahasa kasar. Siswa cenderung meniru gaya komunikasi dari streamer, termasuk penggunaan kata-kata kasar, yang kemudian menjadi bagian dari percakapan sehari-hari. Sebagian siswa menyadari dampak negatifnya dan membatasi penggunaannya sesuai konteks, sementara yang lain menganggap hal tersebut sebagai sesuatu yang wajar. Guru turut menyampaikan kekhawatiran atas perubahan gaya berbahasa siswa, namun tetap melihat perlunya literasi digital untuk mendampingi siswa dalam berkomunikasi secara etis. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media sosial TikTok berperan signifikan dalam membentuk gaya bahasa siswa, dan dibutuhkan pendekatan multidisipliner antara sekolah, orang tua, dan platform digital untuk mengurangi dampak negatifnya.
