Abstract

The impact of the covid-19 pandemic in digital communication, giving new colours in the field of online learning, digital communication patterns are increasingly being applied, especially in the field of education. This has several impacts on students who are accustomed to offline or face-to-face lectures. The purpose of this research is to apply communication patterns in the context of online education through the e-learning Learning management system (LMS) at the Wiyata Indonesia Institute of Management to gen z students, lecturers act as a source of information, the media or technology used acts as a sender, students as recipients, and the goal is student understanding of the messages conveyed, and what are the impacts caused. The research method used is qualitative research method. With a case study approach, this research is field research because the data is obtained directly from the sources, which are five gen z students and one communication science lecturer. The results showed that the communication pattern was categorised as a communication pattern by applying 4 communication patterns, some of these stages were only carried out only during the online learning process. By applying a computer-based communication method through the Learning Management platform, the communication pattern is categorised as a communication pattern by applying 4 communication patterns. Abstract

Religious radicalism has become a problem in various aspects, including the education sector. Islamic boarding schools, function as an important center of Islamic education and must actively contribute to fighting the problem of radicalism The purpose of this community service is to emphasize the importance of instilling the values of religious moderation to curb the rise of radicalism in the pesantren-based high school education environment. Providing information on religious moderation is essential to reduce intolerance, prevent conflict, and prevent extremism in religious practices. This study uses a qualitative methodology for data collection, using interview data collection in a case study approach. The findings show that many students in pesantren are not familiar with the concept of religious moderation, the pesantren community shows considerable enthusiasm for service activities oriented to religious moderation to prevent the growth of radicalism.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility carried out by PT PLN (Persero) Distribution of Jakarta Raya and Tangerang in preserving regional culture through regional dance training for elementary school students. The objectives of this study are as follows: How is the implementation of corporate social responsibility in the regional dance program? The method used in this research is qualitative, using a case study approach. Data was obtained using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Stakeholder theory and the Triple Bottom Line concept are the basis for analysis. The results showed that the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility by PT PLN (Persero) Jakarta Raya and Tangerang Distribution has involved various stakeholders and had a positive impact on cultural preservation and increased community involvement. The process of implementing Corporate Social Responsibility is well done through planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting stages. This program not only strengthens the company's relationship with the community but also contributes to the sustainability of local culture. Suggestions given are to increase stakeholder involvement and expand the scope of the program to other schools so that the benefits can be felt more widely.

Abstract

This study aims to examine Corporate Social Responsibility in the empowerment initiative of regional dance at SDN Sawotratap, Sidoarjo. The purpose of this study focuses on how stakeholder theory analysis is carried out in the Corporate Social Responsibility empowerment program of Regional Dance at SDN Sawotratap Sidoarjo, by combining cross-cultural communication theory and stakeholder theory, which emphasizes people, profit, and planet. The method used is qualitative research, specifically the case study approach, to collect data through observation and interviews. The analysis is based on stakeholder theory, the concept of the Triple Bottom Line, and cross-cultural communication theory. The findings of this study indicate that the Corporate Social Responsibility efforts of PT PLN Nusantara Power Services have involved various stakeholders, both internal and external, including teachers and students, as well as corporate communication and CSR initiatives within PT PLN Nusantara Power Services. The impact of this CSR empowerment program can positively contribute to the sustainability of the CSR community empowerment program, in this case, through the preservation of culture and community participation, in line with the objectives of the study related to stakeholder theory in the implementation of corporate social responsibility initiatives of regional dance in community empowerment programs.

Abstract

This research examines the importance of gender communication within the Program for Enhancing the Role of Women toward Healthy and Prosperous Families (P2WKSS) in Karangsatu Village, Bekasi. This program is a key effort aimed at empowering women and reducing poverty. Using the Delphi Method, the study involved a group of experts and community members through three repeated rounds to pinpoint, improve, and reach an agreement on the key components of the program. The results show that P2WKSS has effectively changed women's roles from being home caregivers to becoming economic participants, business owners, and decision-makers, which in turn has positively impacted local development. Effective methods of communication—utilizing face-to-face persuasion, casual meetings, and digital tools like WhatsApp—were identified as vital in promoting inclusivity and building trust, even though cultural and language obstacles persist. Symbolic resources such as uniforms, memberships in cooperatives, and stories of success acted as motivating instruments that strengthened women's identities and their ability to work together. Recognizing gender sensitivity, health programs, and collaboration among various stakeholders were found to be essential for the ongoing success of the program. The research results indicate that P2WKSS is not just a project focused on welfare; rather, it is a comprehensive empowerment system. This shows that empowering women, when integrated with communication, governance, and local economic structures, can lead to significant and lasting social change.

Abstract

Resilience is a dynamic and diverse process where individuals show psychological functioning despite unpleasant events (trauma). Resilient individuals can use personal abilities to deal with difficult situations and are influenced by the belief held by individuals that every problem can be solved with good results. This is inseparable from understanding within the individual not to judge anyone when dealing with issues. This study aims to show optimism and self-compassion as predictors of resilience in students. The research sample comprised 97 students from a private university in Palembang, Indonesia, who were 18-21 years old and was obtained by a multistage random sampling technique. Research data were obtained by filling out three adaptation scales, namely the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, Self-Compassion Scale, and Optimism Scale. Data analysis used multiple regression analysis techniques. Cronbach's Alpha coefficient reliability for Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (0.824), Self-Compassion Scale (0.927), and Optimism Scale (0.775). The research results show optimism and self-compassion as predictors of resilience in students

Abstract

Di era industri 5.0, pemberdayaan inklusif menjadi faktor krusial untuk mencapai keberhasilan suatu perusahaan. Dalam konteks keragaman sumber daya manusia, terutama bagi perusahaan yang mempekerjakan karyawan disabilitas tunarungu, sangat penting untuk memahami carakaryawan tersebut berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi dalam lingkungan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai hambatan yang dihadapi oleh pekerja disabilitas tunarungu dalam konteks hubungan kerja di PT Glos Star Sukabumi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanadanya hambatan komunikasi yang dialami oleh karyawan disabilitas tunarungu. Hambatan komunikasi tersebut meliputi hambatan mekanik, hambatan semantik, dan hambatan motivasi atau psikologis.

Abstract

Permasalahan hambatan  komunikasi organisasi komunitas Instagram @mypalabuhanratu  dalam memberikan informasi yang efektif terhadap stakeholder  Dinas Komunikasi Informatika dan Persandian Kabupaten Sukabumi dan khalayak umum. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengeksplorasihambatan yang dihadapi oleh Organisasi Masyarakat di media sosial Instagram @mypalabuhanratu dalam  mengomunikasikan dan menyebarluaskan informasi melalui Dinas Komunikasi, Informatika,dan Persandian di Kabupaten Sukabumi terhadap masyarakat.Metode yang diguanakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, mengapa peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif karena ingin mengeksplorasi secara alamiah fenomena yang terjadi. Pengambilan data melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan beberapa narasumber yang terlibat melalui beberapa stakeholder di Dinas Komunikasi Informatika dan Persandian Kabupaten Sukabumi, Masyarakat serta  pihak yang terlibat langsung sebagai informan pendukung dalam Kelompok Informasi Masyarakat Sukabumi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa hambatan komunikasi yang diterapkan oleh Komunitas Organisasi @mypalabuhanratu tantangan yang sangat sulit dihadapi oleh Organisasi Komunitas media sosial Instagram  @mypalabuhanratu.
