Abstract

Saat ini, UMKM khususnya di Jawa Barat memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam memajukan perekonomian negara Indonesia. Meskipun begitu, dalam menjalani proses bisnisnya seringkali pelaku UMKM dihadapkan pada berbagai tantangan yang dapat menjadi kendala dalam memajukan dan menciptakan daya saing usahanya. Salah satu kendalanya adalah ketidaksiapan untuk beradaptasi dengan cepat terhadap kemajuan teknologi, termasuk dalam hal pemanfaatan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI), serta masih minimnya kapasitas untuk berinovasi dalam penggunaan digitalisasi. Padahal, pemanfaatan AI dapat mendukung keberlanjutan bisnis yang dijalankan oleh para pelaku UMKM tersebut. Oleh sebab itu, dalam rangka meningkatkan keterampilan penggunaan teknologi digital AI dalam pelaksanaan aktivitas pengelolaan operasional usahanya tersebut, maka perlu diadakannya kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang diberikan dalam bentuk program pelatihan dan penyuluhan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pelaku UMKM terkait pentingnya budaya kerja positif melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital AI dalam bisnis yang berkelanjutan guna mendukung SDG’s. Kegiatan PkM ini diadakan pada hari Rabu, tgl. 26 Februari 2025 yang bertempat di Gedung Theater Lt. 6 Gedung B di Kampus Universitas Widyatama, Jl. Cikutra No. 204A, Bandung. Peserta yang mengikuti acara PkM ini merupakan para pelaku UMKM Jawa Barat yang berjumlah 25 orang yang terdiri atas 20 orang berasal dari UMKM Jawa Barat sebagai pelaku usaha di Indonesia dan 5 orang pelaku usaha global. Penyampaian materi yang diberikan oleh tim pelaksana PkM difokuskan pada bagaimana cara mengoptimasikan penggunaan teknologi digital berupa Artificial Intelligence (AI) bagi para pelaku UMKM, serta pentingnya membangun budaya kerja yang positif. Sementara itu, penyampaian materi yang disampaikan oleh pembicara tidak hanya berupa penjelasan (pemaparan) materi, tetapi juga diikuti dengan simulasi singkat penggunaan teknologi digital AI, serta diskusi dan tanya jawab secara tatap muka dengan peserta.

Abstract

UMKM memiliki peranan yang sangat penting bagi kemajuan perekonomian suatu negara. Bahkan, seringkali pula UMKM dikatakan sebagai tulang punggung perekonomian suatu negara karena perannya yang tidak hanya mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi, tetapi juga mampu menyejahterakan kehidupan masyarakat secara luas. Meskipun begitu, pelaku UMKM seringkali dihadapkan pada berbagai permasalahan selama menjalani proses bisnisnya yang dapat menghambat perkembangan bisnisnya, serta ketidakmampuannya untuk dapat bersaing. Adapun salah satu kendala yang dapat menjadi penghambat pelaku UMKM sulit untuk mengembangkan bisnisnya adalah ketidaksiapan untuk beradaptasi dengan cepat terhadap kemajuan teknologi, termasuk dalam hal pemanfaatan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI), serta masih minimnya kapasitas untuk berinovasi dalam penggunaan digitalisasi. Padahal, pemanfaatan AI dapat mendukung keberlanjutan bisnis yang dijalankan oleh para pelaku UMKM tersebut, terutama dalam hal memasarkan produk/jasa yang ditawarkannya. Oleh sebab itu, dalam rangka mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka perlu diadakannya kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang diberikan dalam bentuk program pelatihan dan penyuluhan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang terkait dengan literasi pemasaran digital melalui pemanfaatan AI dan sosial media dalam mendukung upaya UMKM Jawa Barat naik kelas. Kegiatan PkM ini diadakan pada hari Kamis, tgl. 22 Mei 2025 yang bertempat di Gedung F Lt. 2 Kampus Universitas Widyatama, Jl. Cikutra No. 204A, Bandung. Peserta yang mengikuti acara PkM ini merupakan para pelaku UMKM Jawa Barat yang berjumlah sebanyak 25 orang. Untuk materi yang disampaikan oleh para narasumber difokuskan pada pembahasan mengenai penguatan karakter SDM komunitas yang berdampak pada peningkatan keterampilan dan kreativitas inovasi digital, serta pemahaman terkait literasi pemasaran digital melalui pemanfaatan AI dan sosial media dalam mendukung upaya UMKM Jawa Barat naik kelas. Sementara itu, untuk materi yang disampaikan oleh pembicara mencakup penjelasan (pemaparan) materi dan simulasi singkat penggunaan teknologi digital AI, serta diskusi dan tanya jawab secara pribadi dengan peserta.

Abstract

UMKM memiliki dampak yang cukup besar terhadap perekonomian Indonesia. Walaupun UMKM telah melakukan ekspor berbasis e-commerce, UMKM masih mengalami berbagai kendala akibat minimnya kompetensi SDM, yaitu belum dapat memasarkan produk dengan maksimal. Oleh karena itu, pemasaran produk saat ini merupakan kendala bagi pelaku usaha UMKM. Peningkatan kompetensi bagi para technopreneur UMKM Kota Bandung diperlukan agar memiliki keterampilan yang terhubung satu dengan lainnya untuk dilatih dan dikembangkan lebih lanjut sehingga mampu menghasilkan kinerja ekspor terbaik dalam mengelola usahanya berbasis e-commerce. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang berupa pemaparan materi mengenai bisnis pasar global dilaksanakan pada 29 Mei 2022. Sebanyak 40 mitra UMKM KADIN Kota Bandung yang menghadiri kegiatan ini memiliki usaha di bidang kuliner, fashion, jasa dan perdagangan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, kegiatan berjalan dengan baik dan materi pelatihan sesuai dengan kebutuhan kerja. Tindak lanjut dari kegiatan ini adalah diperlukannya program keberlanjutan dengan bantuan dosen Program Pascasarjana Magister Manajemen Universitas Widyatama dan KADIN Kota Bandung untuk membangun technopreneurship dan kebersamaan antar komunitas UMKM melalui Forum Informasi/ Komunikasi media.

Abstract

Employe performance is a major factor in achieving company goals and even company performance, this study aims to determine the partial effect of competence and motivation on the performance of DPH employees in the Cisarua Regional Office. This study uses a quantitative verification approach with interview techniques and questionnaires in data collection. The sample of this research is probability sampling which is a sampling technique by providing equal opportunities for each population. Data analysis uses simple liner regression techniques and multiple liner regeresi to assess the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results showed that the competence and motivation of DPH employees in the Cisarua Regional Office The competence of employees can be said to be in a moderate or moderate category by showing a value of >0.67. However, partially competence and motivation have a positive and significant influence on the performance of DPH employees in the Cisarua Regional Office, with the percentage amount for the competency variable being 12.25% and motivation amounting to 11.2%. While simultaneously competence and motivation have a positive and significant effect on performance by 38%, then 62% is influenced by other variables outside this study.

Abstract

Factors that influence the achievement of performance are factors of work motivation and compensation. Motivation is formed from an employee's attitude in dealing with work situations. Motivation is a condition that drives self-directed employees to achieve organizational goals. A mental attitude encourages employees to achieve maximum work performance, so they can achieve maximum performance if they have high work motivation. The research objective was to determine the effect of work motivation on employee performance and compensation on employee performance in the Cisaranten Bina Harapan sub-district. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling, where all population members are used as samples. The sample used is 36 respondents. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires and data analysis using SPSS. This study shows that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance in Cisaranten Bina Harapan village.

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the effect of motivation and organizational culture on employee competence within Agency X. Employee competence plays a vital role in improving work efficiency and the quality of public service delivery. A quantitative research design with a survey method was employed. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 143 active employees of Agency X. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26.0. The results indicate that both motivation and organizational culture have a significant influence on employee competence. Specifically, motivation positively affects competence, meaning that higher levels of employee motivation correspond to greater competence. Furthermore, organizational culture also exerts a significant impact, suggesting that a supportive work environment grounded in strong organizational values can enhance employee performance and overall work quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of job satisfaction and career satisfaction on turnover intention, with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The study was conducted at PT X, a manufacturing company located in Karawang. The research approach used was quantitative with descriptive and verificative methods. The study sample used the Slovin formula through Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, and data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression and path analysis using SPSS 26. The results showed that, partially, job satisfaction and career satisfaction significantly influenced turnover intention and organizational commitment. Organizational commitment significantly influenced turnover intention. Organizational commitment did not significantly mediate the effect of job satisfaction on turnover intention, but significantly mediated the effect of career satisfaction on turnover intention.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the guarantee of legal protection as a principle of lecturers’ professionalism by developing and examining a model of the influence of emotional regulation and psychological well-being in influencing work engagement and lecturer performance, which is in line with the professionalism principle as a form of legal protection, in West Java Province. The moderating role of religiosity in Muslim and non-Muslim lecturers are also considered in influencing the level of interaction between variables. This study uses normative juridical and quantitative method. Normative juridical method is carried out by examining primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials, both documents and laws and regulations. For the quantitative study, 120 Muslim and non-Muslim lecturers are selected using purposive sampling. Data is distributed online and offline using Google Forms, then processed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS software. The findings indicate that (1) the criteria for obtaining lecturer certificates are not yet comprehensive according to the role and position in the Teachers and Lecturers Law; and (2) the management of intellectual property rights (IPR) in universities is not yet optimal according to the legal protection of the results of creations and innovations in the IPR Law. Emotional regulation and psychological well-being influence work engagement, and work engagement has a positive influence on lecturer performance. The study also confirms the mediating role of work engagement and moderating role of religiosity within the relationship. This study provides insight of the guarantee of legal protection for the position, rights, and obligations along with recognition of lecturers in developing creativity and innovation in accordance with the principles of professionalism. This study also highlights the moderating role of religiosity by involving Muslim and non-Muslim participants in a cross-cultural context, thereby allowing a more comprehensive understanding of the influence of religiosity and cultural diversity on the variables studied.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the normative tension between the intellectual property rights (IPR) legal regime, which is oriented towards exclusive rights and economic certainty, and the demands of social welfare and sustainable development. Although IPR functions as an instrument to incentivize innovation, its normative structure tends to result in unequal access and the dominance of capitalist actors, and it has not explicitly integrated the principle of sustainability. This article aims to reconstruct a model for IPR legal reform based on maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah as a normative framework capable of balancing rights protection, distributive justice, and ecological sustainability. The research method employed is normative legal research with a statutory, conceptual, and comparative approach, which is analysed through the construction of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. The results show that the Indonesian IPR regime still adheres to an exclusivist-proprietarian paradigm that protects individual ownership and economic benefits but has not yet internalised the principles of maṣlaḥah, ‘adl, and sustainability. The integration of maqāṣid produces a normative model that repositions exclusive rights as conditional rights subject to the public interest, the distribution of benefits, and environmental protection. The conclusion confirms that IPR remains valid as a protection of property and intellect, but must be limited by the principles of social justice and sustainability. The limitation of this study lies in the normative approach that has not examined empirical implementation. The implication of this research is the need to reorient IPR law towards a more inclusive and sustainable system. The novelty of this article lies in the use of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah as a framework for the normative reconstruction of IPR that comprehensively integrates economic, social, and ecological dimensions.
