Abstract

The research problem background is the low of two-way communication between PLK students and tutor teachers, so that students have difficulty in dealing with the obstacles encountered during PLK at school. Based on this research, researchers are interested in doing research that purpose to reveal the relationship between Teacher Guidance and Student PLK Success. This research type was quantitative research through method in correlational. This research was done at the Civil Engineering Department, Engineering Faculty, Universitas Negeri Padang. The research respondents were Building Engineering Education Study Program students, Engineering Faculty, Universitas Negeri Padang who had followed in the PLK period July-December 2022. The technique for sampling used Total Sampling with a sample size of 45 respondents. The method for data collection uses a questionnaire and documentation of PLK grades filled in by the mentor teacher. The technique for analysis used is Product Moment correlation. The research results indicated that there is a positive and significant relationship between Teacher Guidance and Student PLK Success. The evidence was the correlation coefficient greater than r table which is 0.705 > 0.294 and a value of significance is 0.00 < 0.05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas penggunaan media sosial sebagai media pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Analisis Statistik. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk membantu pengajar dan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran baik secara daring ataupun tatap muka. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Analisis Statistik pada semester Januari-Juni 2021 sejumlah 44 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari 4 seksi perkuliahan. Dua seksi perkuliahan akan dijadikan kelompok eksperimen, dan dua seksi perkuliahan lainnya akan menjadi kelompok kontrol. Kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen dipilih secara random. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan proses validasi instrumen efektivitas oleh validator ahli yaitu ahli materi dan ahli media. Dari kegiatan validasi tersebut diperoleh hasil validasi materi angket sebesar 87,2% dan validasi media sebesar 89%, yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa angket tersebut baik digunakan untuk memperoleh data. Hasil penilaian yang didapatkan yaitu penilaian dari aspek tampilan dengan tingkat efektivitas sebesar 82,53%, penilaian aspek isi/materi dengan tingkat efektivitas sebesar 83,72%, lalu penilaian aspek kemanfaatan dengan tingkat efektivitas 82,54% serta penilaian dari aspek bahasa dengan tingkat efektivitas sebesar 83,09%. Kemudian berdasarkan hasil penilaian dari masing-masing aspek tersebut didapatkan penilaian rata-rata tingkat efektivitas yaitu sebesar 82,97.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Analisis Matematika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran blended learning pada era revolusi 4.0. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain posstest only control group design dan meliputi populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan teknik bangunan angkatan 2019. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Dari hasil tersebut diperoleh nilai t = 11.93 dan p-value = 0.008, dimana p-value <α = 0.05, itu berarti ditolak dan diterima. Artinya, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelas sampel yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis mahasiswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran blended learning lebih baik secara signifikan daripada mahasiswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional biasa.

Abstract

Nowadays, the opportunity to get a job is depend on education degree. Therefore, looking for job opportunities such as entrepreneurship is an alternative for people who have limited degree of education. The 50 kota sub-district is the area with the largest coconut plantations in the 50 kota district. Apart from producing coconuts for sale, coconut trees can also be used as material for making furniture. This is a business opportunity for residents by utilizing coconut tree waste and wood waste. The solution to this condition is to provide knowledge training to young people who are not yet working and wood business people in the area to be able to create innovative furniture products. Of course it has a connection in reducing the number of people who are not working. The use of wood waste that can be obtained from processing coconut trees that are quite old and cannot produce good coconuts, as well as other wood waste can be utilized by creating simple furniture/decoration products that have selling value. This can certainly be a business opportunity for the community/youth of Karang Taruna who have not/don't work to become competent entrepreneurs independently. PKM activities begin with conducting field observations, providing material regarding sources of wood waste, types of wood, marketing steps in selling furniture products and continue with providing training on how to process wood waste into simple furniture/decoration products. The implementation of the work is carried out directly by the community/youth of Karang Taruna, then an evaluation is carried out by looking at the results of the product work by looking at its attractiveness and aesthetics so that it can become an item of marketable value on the market.
