Abstract

Kemampuan berbicara Bahasa Inggris merupakan salah satu modal dalam bersaing di era Asian Community. Upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara Bahasa Inggris bisa dilakukan dengan Intensive English Program (IEP). IEP adalah program dimana mahasiswa mempelajari Bahasa Inggris dalam sesi padat dengan waktu yang relatif lebih singkat dari biasanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh program Intensive English Program terhadap kemampuan berbicara Bahasa Inggris mahasiswa Stikes Hafshawaty Pesantren Zainul Hasan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pre-experimental dan desain one group pre and post test design. Populasi yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa Tingkat 1 Stikes Hafshawaty Pesantren Zainul Hasan sebanyak 106 mahasiswa.Teknik sampling menggunakan cluster sampling, diperoleh sampel 84 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan format penilaian dan wawancara serta dianalisis menggunakan paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menginformasikan bahwa nilai rata rata speaking sebelum treatment adalah 1.5685 dan sesudah treatment 2.3065 atau terjadi peningkatan sebesar 1.4667 kali.  Berdasarkan uji statistik diperoleh p = 0,000 (<0,05) sehingga ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara Intensive English Program terhadap kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh persepsi kemudahan dan kepercayaan nasabah dalam menggunakan aplikasi fintech Adiraku  pada  PT. Adira Finance Syariah Balung. Pada zaman digitalisasi saat ini yang berkembang pesat PT. Adira Finance Syariah Balung bergerak dibidang Startup, badan usaha yang berjalan dan fokus pada pengembangan kualitas target pasar yang bergerak dibidang digital. Jenis Startup, terbagi menjadi dua jenis yaitu e-commerce dan fintech. PT.  Adira Finance termasuk dari perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang Startup, salah satu perusahaan yang menggunakan aplikasi fintech. Masalahnya perpsepsi kemudahan dan kepercayan nasabah dalam menggunakan aplikasi fintech Adiraku masih minim penggunaanya. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik sampling sensus dan sampling jenuh. Populasi yang digunakan oleh peneliti ialah nasabah aktif Adiraku yang menggunakan aplikasi Adiraku pada bulan Januari 2024. Dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 54 responden pada Adira Satellite Balung, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel total atau sensus. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa variabel perpsepsi kemudahan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan nasabah. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, variabel persepsi kepercayaan berpengaruh positif, artinya dua variabel persepsi kepercayaan dan kemudahan menggunakan aplikasi fintech Adiraku berdampak positif dan signifikan pada kepuasan pelanggan.

Abstract

In the context of the attention economy era, where human attention has become a valuable commodity, this research explores digital disparities with a focus on a case study at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ibrohimy Galis. Digital disparities are identified through signs emerging among students, particularly concerning economic factors, digital literacy, and regulations on the use of communication technology within the Islamic boarding school environment. This study utilizes the attention economy framework as a theoretical foundation, illustrating intense competition to capture students' attention in the digital environment. The research methodology involves student surveys, interviews, and document analysis. The success of this study provides insights into strategies to reduce the digital gap in Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ibrohimy Galis. The research reveals the existence of inter-student digital disparities at MA Al-Ibrohimy, influenced by variations in digital literacy, economic disparities, and regulations governing information technology usage in the boarding school environment. The conclusion emphasizes the need for special attention to students' digital literacy levels, addressing economic disparities, and reviewing technology usage regulations in the boarding school. Recommendations are provided to local management and stakeholders to enhance access and utilization of information technology at MA Al-Ibrohimy, thereby reducing the digital gap and supporting equality in learning. This research underscores the urgency of addressing digital disparities in the Islamic education setting, considering the increasing role of technology in the dominant attention economy.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools have various functional units, apart from the existing Islamic boarding school education, there are business units called cooperation. The success of management in cooperation cannot be separated from the skills of the management elements in managing the cooperation. One aspect that needs to be considered is the formation of the entrepreneurial spirit of the students. This research aims to find out how the management of the Ainul Hasan Islamic boarding school cooperation (Koperasi Pondok Pesantren/Kopontren) is implemented, and to find out the role of the Ainul Hasan Islamic boarding school Cooperation (Kopontren) in forming the entrepreneurial spirit of students. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation with Islamic boarding school caregivers, Kopontren administrators, alumni and several students of the Ainul Hasan Islamic boarding school. The research results showed that the management of the Ainul Hasan Islamic boarding school cooperation (Kopontren) is quite good in implementing its management system because it is seen from the management function which really supports management activities so that the desired goals can be achieved well. The implementation of Ainul Hasan's Islamic boarding school cooperation management (Kopontren) in forming the entrepreneurial spirit of students is by holding entrepreneurship training for students to make brooches from flannel which is held once a week. By implementing good Islamic boarding school cooperation management and entrepreneurship training, students can form the entrepreneurial spirit and help students become successful entrepreneurs in the future.

Abstract

The digital era has brought urgent changes to the world of education, one of which is the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies such as ChatGPT. This technology can assist students in various academic aspects, especially in writing assignments. This study aims to explore the perceptions of students at STIT Al Ibrohimy Bangkalan regarding the use of ChatGPT as a tool to aid in writing assignments, focusing on aspects of effectiveness, ease of use, and ethical considerations within the context of education based on Islamic values. This research adopts a Mixed Methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative methods. For the qualitative aspect, data were collected through in-depth interviews with students and observations of their use of ChatGPT in academic activities. This qualitative approach provides a deeper understanding of students' experiences and perceptions regarding the use of ChatGPT in completing assignments. On the other hand, quantitative data were gathered through a questionnaire designed to measure the frequency of use, effectiveness, and efficiency of ChatGPT based on students' perceptions. The results show that most students find ChatGPT effective in speeding up the assignment writing process; however, they also acknowledge the importance of verifying the accuracy of the information provided. This study contributes to understanding the use of technology in the learning process and offers recommendations for further development in the implementation of AI-based technologies in higher education.

Abstract

The development of Islamic financial technology has opened new opportunities to support the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, particularly in Probolinggo Regency. One rapidly growing instrument is Sharia Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Lending, which offers interest-free financing access through digital platforms. This study aims to analyze the role, challenges, and optimization strategies of Sharia P2P Lending in improving MSME welfare through an inclusive approach in the digital era. The approach used is qualitative descriptive-explorative, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants consist of MSME actors, Sharia P2P lending platform managers, the Office of Cooperatives and MSMEs, and Islamic financial institutions in Probolinggo Regency. The research findings show that Sharia P2P Lending plays a significant role in expanding financing access, especially in terms of contract flexibility, simplified procedures, and compliance with sharia principles. However, its implementation still faces challenges such as low financial and digital literacy, limited outreach, and inadequate technological infrastructure. Optimal implementation has proven to enhance the production capacity, marketing, and economic welfare of MSME actors. This study offers strategic contributions through proposals to strengthen digital literacy and regulatory support as a foundation for inclusive and sustainable growth of Sharia P2P Lending. Future research is recommended to explore risk mitigation models in Sharia P2P Lending and the role of local institutions and communities in expanding its impact on MSME economic empowerment.

Abstract

In this digital era, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a profound and innovative tool across various aspects of human life—including entertainment, economy, education, and increasingly, the political sphere. The rapid development of AI in recent years has shown significant impact, including its involvement in political party decision-making processes. This study explores the political relevance of AI utilization within the realm of political communication, focusing on the analysis of its role and significance in the dynamics of Indonesia’s 2024 general election campaign. The aim is to examine AI’s potential in the political landscape by identifying the types of AI employed, both as supporting tools and in other assistive capacities. Through a qualitative approach, this research investigates the impact of AI on modernizing political campaign strategies, enhancing the efficiency of political communication, and influencing decision-making processes within political contexts. The methodology includes content analysis of campaign materials involving AI technologies and observation of political interactions mediated by artificial intelligence. Accordingly, this study seeks to provide an in-depth understanding of how the utilization of AI in political campaigns can shape political dynamics, public opinion, and democratic processes in Indonesia. The findings reveal that AI has been employed not only as a tool for generating visual content and political narratives but also as a strategic communication medium to shape voter perception and increase public engagement. Generative AI technologies, such as image generators, have demonstrated emotional appeal in political campaigns, as evidenced in the campaigns of Prabowo-Gibran and Andra-Dimyati. These findings indicate that AI contributes significantly to the transformation of modern political communication, influencing both public opinion and the democratic process in Indonesia.

Abstract

The business environment that has a major influence on marketing success is the development and advancement of technology, as well as changes in people's lifestyles. Marketing has an important role in society because marketing involves various aspects of life, including the economic and social fields, because marketing activities involve the problem of the flow of products from producers to consumers, and marketing creates important jobs for the community. The aim of this research is to understand the importance of experiential marketing analysis on customer satisfaction for companies and consumers. This research is assisted by a literature study research. The data obtained is compiled, analyzed, and summarized to obtain conclusions regarding the literature study. Data collection uses secondary data such as archived data in the form of books or journals. The results of the study show that experiential marketing analysis of customer satisfaction shows that strong customer experiences, especially those involving emotions and interactions, can increase customer satisfaction. Experiential marketing creates added value through experiences that differentiate products or services, so that customers feel more satisfied.

Abstract

Collaboration skills are essential competencies emphasized in the Merdeka Curriculum as part of the gotong royong dimension in the Pancasila Student Profile. However, observations at an Islamic boarding school-based senior high school in Madura indicated that students' collaboration skills were still low due to the dominance of teacher-centered learning. This study aimed to examine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on the collaboration skills of tenth-grade students in biology learning. A quantitative approach was used with a quasi-experimental design involving a non-equivalent control group. The participants consisted of 62 students, divided into an experimental group (n = 32) that received PBL treatment and a control group (n = 30) that received direct instruction. Data on collaboration skills were collected using an observation sheet adapted from Hermawan, Widodo, and Saputra (2017), covering aspects such as contribution, time management, problem-solving, teamwork, and inquiry. The results of the Mann–Whitney U test showed a significant difference between the groups (U = 26.500, Z = –6.456, p < .001), with the experimental group achieving a higher median score (15.00) than the control group (10.00). The effect size was 1.60, indicating a significant effect. These findings demonstrate that PBL is effective in enhancing students' collaboration skills through active learning processes, and it is recommended for broader implementation in Islamic boarding school-based schools to support 21st-century education goals.
