Abstract

The study aimed to assess the impact of graduates from Islamic boarding schools and general schools on Quran memorization levels and academic grades of Hafidzpreneur students. The method used was a dummy variable regression with data processing using Microsoft Excel 2016. The primary data used were collected through questionnaires distributed to Hafidzpreneur students via Google Forms. The data were analyzed using regression analysis, partial F-test, and simultaneous F-test. The R-squared value in this study was 0.416, indicating that the dependent variable (Quran memorization) can be explained by the independent variables (graduates from Islamic boarding schools and general schools, and academic performance) to the extent of 41.6%. The remaining 58.4% can be explained by other variables. The study found that graduates from both Islamic boarding schools and general schools negatively affected Quran memorization, as indicated by a probability of 0.34 > α = 0.05. Additionally, academic performance negatively influenced Quran memorization, with a probability of 7.52 > α = 0.05. The study concluded that students from both Islamic boarding schools and general schools, as well as academic performance, do not significantly affect the level of Quran memorization among Hafidzpreneur students. The study has significant implications in increasing understanding about the relationship between graduates from general and Islamic boarding schools on Quran memorization and academic levels. The study's results can help educational institutions develop new programs that combined religious and general education, particularly for students interested in becoming Hafidzpreneur.

Abstract

This research tries to explore how Green Accounting can be used as a learning tool to strengthen environmental literacy in high school Economics lessons. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research was conducted in a senior high school (SMA Negeri 2 Tanggul, Jember Regency) that has started to integrate environmental issues into the teaching-learning process. Data were collected through interviews with teachers, direct observation in the classroom, and analysis of learning documents such as lesson plans and student assignments. The results showed that when students learn accounting not only from the financial side, but also consider the social and environmental impacts of economic activities, they become more concerned and critical of sustainability issues. Teachers utilize project-based and contextual learning approaches so that students can relate theory to real problems around them, such as environmental pollution or waste management. This process helps students see that accounting is not just about numbers, but can also be a way to take care of the earth. This finding shows that economic education that promotes sustainability is not only possible in schools, but also very important to form a young generation that cares and is responsible for the future of their environment.

Abstract

Abstract

This study delves into the interplay between the quality of educational services and lecturer competence at IAI TAZKIA and their effects on brand advocacy. Analyzing data from 305 graduates and students across seven cohorts (2015-2021) and academic disciplines, it employs structural equation modeling (SEM) to explore these dynamics. The findings reveal that while lecturer competence does not significantly impact brand advocacy, the quality of educational services does. Specifically, postgraduate programs are perceived to offer the highest service quality, whereas Islamic Accounting and Islamic Business Management are viewed less favorably. Islamic Broadcasting Communication, a new field, needs more specialized faculty. Regarding lecturer competence, postgraduate students report the highest levels, with Islamic Economics instructors deemed more competent than those in Sharia Accounting, despite the latter's "A" accreditation. Brand advocacy is lowest among Sharia Business Management graduates, whereas postgraduate programs see the highest engagement in brand advocacy efforts. The research aims to position the campus as a benchmark for improving lecturer competence and service quality, enhancing institutional brand advocacy and competitive standing.

Abstract

The rapid development of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency has generated significant legal challenges within Islamic commercial law, particularly in determining the permissibility of digital financial instruments that were unknown in classical fiqh literature. This article aims to examine the legal status of cryptocurrency based on the fiqh maxim al-aslu fil muamalah ibahah and to analyze the implications of the ulama consensus established during the 2021 Ijtima’ Ulama of the Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI). This study employs a normative legal research method using conceptual, typological, and comparative approaches. Cryptocurrency is systematically categorized into five types: utility tokens, security tokens, asset-backed tokens, decentralized finance (DeFi) tokens, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), each analyzed through definitional, operational, sharia compliance, and ijma-based perspectives. The findings demonstrate that cryptocurrency cannot be assessed through a generalized legal judgment but must be evaluated differentially according to its function, characteristics, and underlying assets. Utility tokens and security tokens may be considered permissible when they fulfill the requirements of lawful commodities, provide tangible benefits, and avoid elements of gharar, maysir, and riba. In contrast, purely speculative cryptocurrencies lacking clear utility or asset backing tend to conflict with Islamic legal principles. This study affirms the continued relevance of al-aslu fil muamalah ibahah as a methodological framework for addressing contemporary digital financial innovations while maintaining adherence to maqasid al-shariah and legal prudence.
