Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of stimulating early childhood artistic development in Banca Patola Kindergarten, Baubau City. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data is collected by observing, interviewing, and documenting. Data were analyzed by reducing, displaying and verifying. The results showed that the process of stimulating children's artistic development was carried out with activities such as: (1) humming or singing while doing something; (2) be creative with beads, origami paper and natural materials; (3) sanitary activities such as mixing colors, finger painting; (4) drawing in various ways and forms; (5) coloring activities. In addition, several stimulations that can be applied to increase the achievement of artistic development aspects in Banca Patola Kindergarten, namely: (1) the teacher's role is to provide support and facilities for children to listen to the songs they like; (2) the teacher always gives appreciation in the form of praise; (3) the teacher facilitates activities that stimulate children's art; (4) the teacher gives rewards to children for their achievements in activities.

Abstract

Kurikulum kontekstual adalah kurikulum yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi sosial, budaya, dan lingkungan tempat anak-anak tinggal.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan pendidik dalam pengintegrasian budaya Buton ke dalam kurikulum. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif fenomologi. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah guru PAUD berjumlah 35 orang  dari 5 satuan PAUD yang berbasis budaya Buton karena telah menggunakan kurikulum merdeka, mayoritas peserta didiknya berlatar belakang budaya Buton, dan kurikulum operasionalnya belum mengintegrasikan budaya Buton yang merupakan konteks lokal peserta didiknya. Teknik pengambilan data yang dilakukan menggunakan wawancara. Hasil penelitian mengungkap terdapat hambatan dan kesenjangan dalam  manajemen kurikulum PAUD berbasis budaya Buton yang berimplikasi pada  kebutuhan pendidik dalam pengintegrasian budaya Buton ke dalam kurikulum PAUD berupa :  1) kebijakan daerah yang mendukung pengembangan muatan lokal;  2) pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang prinsip-prinsip kurikulum Merdeka terkait fleksibilitas penyesuaian kearifan lokal; 3) pemahaman tentang  elemen-elemen budaya lokal yang dapat dijadikan sumber belajar bagi anak usia dini, seperti cerita rakyat, tarian, permainan tradisional, dan nilai-nilai sosial budaya Buton; 4) pemahaman tentang cara efektif untuk mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal Buton dalam kurikulum PAUD; 5) panduan khusus untuk mengelola kurikulum PAUD berbasis budaya Buton.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran anak usia dini. Media yang digunakan berupa bahan alam seperti biji jagung, batu, ranting, dan daun, yang mudah diperoleh dari lingkungan sekitar dan dapat dimanfaatkan secara efektif. Penelitian dilakukan pada 13 peserta didik TK Cahaya Rongi di Desa Sandang Pangan, Kecamatan Sampolawa, Kabupaten Buton Selatan, menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan instrumen berupa pedoman observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan bahan alam dalam kegiatan bermain mampu meningkatkan kemampuan keaksaraan, motorik halus, kreativitas, dan imajinasi anak. Anak-anak juga menunjukkan perkembangan kognitif dalam mengenali bentuk huruf dan angka melalui pengalaman belajar yang kontekstual dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Learning about natural disaster mitigation for children can develop children's preparedness in facing disasters. Natural disaster mitigation learning provides material about pre-disaster, during a disaster and post-disaster. In this research, researchers focus on learning about tsunami natural disaster mitigation. This research aims to find out how the tsunami natural disaster mitigation learning was carried out by Group B teachers at Harapan Jaya Tira Kindergarten, Sampolawa District, South Buton Regency. This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The first data analysis step is data reduction, the second is presentation of research data grouped based on theme findings and the last is the conclusion. The findings of this research show that teachers in Group B at Harapan Jaya Tira Kindergarten, Sampolawa District, South Buton Regency: 1) learning about natural disaster mitigation is included in the theme of the universe and the sub-theme of natural disasters, 2) conveys pre-disaster information, 3) conveys information during disasters and simulations during disasters, 4) conveying post-disaster information and post-disaster simulations, 5) applying learning methods for mitigating tsunami natural disasters using simulation methods and storytelling methods, 6) using learning media for mitigating tsunami natural disasters using image media.
