Abstract

Mitra dalam program pemberdayaan masyarakat ini adalah Kelompok Siskamling di Desa Cagakagung Kecamatan Cerme Kabupaten Gresik. Tujuan program ini adalah untuk memberdayakan anggota mitra guna meningkatkan pendapatan lingkungan dari pengembangan usaha. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra yaitu: aktivitas mitra dalam menjaga keamanan lingkungan masih sebatas bermain di pos jaga dan keliling ronda, potensi selokan air yang tidak berfungsi dan belum dimanfaatkan, pendapatan lingkungan hanya dari iuran warga, dan warga belum memiliki usaha sampingan. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam program ini antara lain; memberikan sosialisasi keamanan lingkungan bersama Polsek Cerme, pengembangan usaha bersama budidaya belut sawah untuk meningkatkan pendapatan warga, peningkatan kemampuan pemasaran dan keuangan usaha bersama dan peningkatan keterampilan pengolahan pasca panen. Metode pelaksanaan program ini adalah melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan dan kemitraan. Hasil pelaksanaan program ini yaitu pelaksanaan pelatihan budidaya belut sawah memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan yang penting bagi peserta dalam mengelola kolam belut sawah secara efektif. Para peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan tentang pemilihan bibit, penyiapan lahan, manajemen lingkungan, pemberian pakan, pengendalian hama dan penyakit, serta aspek bisnis budidaya belut. Sesi praktik di lapangan memberikan pengalaman langsung, memperkuat keterampilan praktis, dan meningkatkan pemahaman tentang aspek-aspek teknis budidaya belut sawah. Dampak dari kegiatan ini antara yaitu peningkatan kemampuan mitra dalam menyiapkan lahan kolam, pemilihan dan pemijahan bibit belut, pembuatan pakan belut, dan budidaya sebesar 30% yang diukur melalui pengamatan tim pelaksana dan tanya jawab langsung kepada peserta pasca pelatihan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui berapa banyak peluang kerja yang bisa diciptakan dengan menanam sayuran tomat sayur di Desa Pengalangan. (2) Mengetahui pengaruh dampak luas lahan, jumlah bahan baku dan pola budidaya terhadap kesempatan kerja bagi petani tomat sayur di Desa Pengalangan. (3) Mengetahui tentang dampak faktor sosial ekonomi (tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman pertanian, kosmopolitanisme, jumlah keluarga dan luas lahan) terhadap produktivitas petani tomat sayur di Desa Pengalangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Pengalangan, Kecamatan Menganti, Kabupaten Gresik. Penentuan daerah penelitian dilakukan secara purposive. Sampel untuk penelitian ini adalah petani yang menanam tomat sayur. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara simple random sampling. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil pertama dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa jumlah kesempatan kerja yang diciptakan dengan menanam tomat sayur bervariasi dari lahan sampel ke lahan sampel, dari lahan sampel terendah sebesar 15,4 HKP/tahun hingga 315,3 HKP/tahun. Faktor-faktor seperti luas lahan, pola budidaya dan jumlah bahan baku juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesempatan kerja petani tomat sayur. Pengaruh faktor sosial ekonomi (tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman bertani, kosmopolitan, jumlah keluarga, luas lahan) sangat berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas usahatani tomat sayur. Abstract

Citrus fruit is one of the horticultural products that has a high volume of imports, causing local oranges to be slightly defeated. Consumer preferences for local and imported citrus fruits have differences, namely by using Chi-square analysis it is known that consumer preferences for local oranges are greenish yellow with a slightly sour sweet taste, medium fruit size, fresh aroma and have a moderate price. Imported oranges, there are differences in preferences on attributes other than color attributes, because consumers have the same opinion about the orange color in imported oranges. Market segmentation, based on the results of cluster research, has almost the same characteristics and shows that consumers of local and imported oranges are consumers who are still young around 1925 years old, female and male, who are graduates from high school or diploma and still have the status as students, unmarried and with incomes ranging from IDR 500,000 to IDR 2,499,999. The number of members in each family includes the number of small and medium members who usually buy oranges at Giant and Ramayana. Purchases are made erratically as much as 1-2 kg in one purchase.

Abstract

This study discusses the about influence of agricultural equipment technology on employmentopportunities and farm laborers' income in Balongpanggang, Balongpanggang sub-district,Gresik district. The purpose of this research is to find out how the technology of agriculturalequipment affects the employment opportunities and income of farm worker. The existence ofagricultural equipment technology has negative and positive impacts in Balongpanggangvillage, the conclusion from this study is that the negative effect means that the decreasingAgricultural Equipment Technology will affect the increase in Job Opportunities for farmlaborers and for this positive influence it means that the increasing Agricultural EquipmentTechnology will affect This increase in income is because the technology of agriculturalequipment is considered to save working time and costs in land management. But on the otherhand, the presence of agricultural equipment technology has also shifted the work of farmlaborers who initially used traditional tools. The type of research used is quantitative researchwith a population of farmhands in the village of Balongpanggang and using the saturationtheory formula, namely with 23 respondents and all of them will be sampled. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the(1) The process of processing water hyacinth handicraft industry so that it becomes a handicraft. (2) The obstacles experienced by water hyacinth craftsmen. (3) Craftsmen's efforts to overcome obstacles to the water hyacinth craft industry. (4) Income contribution from the water hyacinth craft industry. (5) Efforts to develop the self-development of craftsmen in the water hyacinth craft industry. This research is a quantitative research in which the research subjects were craftsmen's households in Kludan Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency with 50 respondents and it was a population study. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used is quantitative descriptive. The results showed that: (1) The processing of the water hyacinth handicraft industry in Kludan Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency is still in the form of semi-finished goods, the raw material price is IDR 4,500/kg. Water hyacinth craft products include: bags, pillows, prisms, mats, and others. The price of water hyacinth crafts ranges from IDR 8,000 – IDR 30,000 depending on the size of the craft item. (2) The obstacles experienced by craftsmen are expensive raw materials, craftsmen are not given the opportunity to process water hyacinth crafts until the finishing stage. (3) Efforts to overcome obstacles, namely craftsmen learn to process water hyacinth crafts until the finishing stage to increase the price of water hyacinth crafts by forming groups. (4) The contribution of income from water hyacinth crafts to the total household income of craftsmen is 27.5%. (5) Efforts to develop self-development of water hyacinth craft industry craftsmen, namely craftsmen taking courses or training, conducting promotions or exhibitions to introduce water hyacinth crafts.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the factors affecting farmers' decisions to continue planting Madura local corn and to determine strategies for ensuring food security for Madura local corn farmers in addressing declining productivity. The research design used is quantitative, as it involves numerical data analyzed through descriptive statistical methods. The population of this study is local corn farmers in Madura, with a sample size of 192 respondents. The quantitative method employs testing using SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicate that farmers' decisions to plant Madura local corn significantly impact their coping mechanisms. The choice to plant local corn also has a significant impact on their social capital. Coping mechanisms significantly influence family food security. Social capital also has a significant effect on family food security. The decision to plant Madura local corn indirectly affects family food security through coping mechanisms. Farmers' decisions also impact family food security through social capital. Strong social networks and community support help enhance food security by providing necessary resources and assistance.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is also to introduce vermicomposting technology and to familiarize farmers in Jeruk village with the use of vermicomposting fertilizer, who have been using untreated chicken manure. The implementation methods include socialization and training, opinion polls through questionnaires, vermicomposting and organic farming demonstration plots, and focus group discussions. The demonstration plot is a field school for chicken manure managers and farmers, so that participants can understand the entire process of the activity. In order to support the Community Partnership Program (PKM), a program was also carried out in the form of counseling on the use of chicken manure for worm cultivation, the waste of which is vermicomposting which is an organic material that is very good for fertilizer and also for controlling plant diseases. This counseling was followed up with training in worm cultivation and vermicomposting which was attended by farmers. In addition to being given skills, participants were also given media and worm seeds, as well as wooden boxes and pilot units for worm cultivation. Mentoring and coordination were also carried out to facilitate the implementation of worm cultivation, vermicomposting production and its use in environmentally friendly plant cultivation. Abstract

Program pemberdayaan masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan lahan sempadan jalan di Desa Cagakagung, Gresik, sebagai area budidaya tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA) untuk meningkatkan pendapatan warga RT 01 RW 02. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah lahan sempadan jalan yang tidak dimanfaatkan dengan baik, kurangnya keterampilan warga dalam budidaya tanaman dan pengelolaan sampah, serta pendapatan lingkungan yang masih terbatas. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan warga dalam budidaya TOGA, pembuatan pupuk organik, dan pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga, serta mengembangkan usaha bersama untuk meningkatkan pendapatan lingkungan. Solusi yang diusulkan mencakup pelatihan budidaya tanaman, pengolahan pasca panen, pembuatan pupuk cair dan padat, serta pengelolaan sampah. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan intensif. Hasil yang diharapkan meliputi peningkatan keterampilan warga dalam pengelolaan lahan dan usaha, peningkatan pendapatan RT sebesar 30%, dan terbentuknya kesadaran serta partisipasi aktif warga dalam program. Dampak kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat serta mendukung kelestarian lingkungan

Abstract

The conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural purposes is a common phenomenon occurring almost everywhere in Indonesia. One of the less-considered impacts of land conversion is the decline of agricultural land. Consequently, food crop yields also decrease, affecting the nation's food security in a permanent manner. This study aims to determine and analyze whether agricultural land conversion has a significant impact on rice production levels and to determine and analyze whether agricultural land conversion has a significant impact on food security in Lampah Village. A quantitative method using SPSS 25 with classical assumption tests and simple linear regression analysis was employed, using data obtained from books, journals, interviews, questionnaires, and observations. Based on the simple linear regression test between variable X (Land Conversion), variable Y1 (Rice Production), and variable Y2 (Food Security), it was found that there is an influence between land conversion and rice production, but there is no influence between land conversion and food security. For future researchers, the study can be further developed by adding or modifying variable Y.
