Abstract

This study aims to analyze the behavior of the millennial generation in making stock investment decisions during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research subjects were four people who were included in the millennial generation category who were under 30 years old and domiciled in Solo Raya. The results of this study indicate that the behavior of investors in making stock investment decisions is based on the declining stock price trend due to the Covid-19 pandemic, influenced by the herding bias factor, namely following the actions or suggestions of others, but also analyzing the company's performance by looking at its financial statements.Keywords: Covid-19; Investor Behavior; Investment Decisions; Millenial Generation

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in improving student learning outcomes on energy change materials in class IVB MI Nahdlatul Ulama Ngingas, Waru, Sidoarjo. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach which consists of two cycles, with each cycle including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data sources in this study include student pretest and posttest results, observations of learning activities, and interviews with students and teachers. The results of the study show that the application of the PBL model can significantly improve student learning outcomes. Before the implementation of PBL, only 50% of students achieved the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), with an average class score of 65. After the implementation of the PBL model, as many as 85% of students achieved grades above the KKM, with the average grade increase to 78. In addition, students also show improvements in critical thinking skills and the ability to collaborate. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the PBL model is effective in improving student learning outcomes on energy change materials, as well as helping students develop problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilakukan kepada guru-guru di SMPN 3, Kecamatan IV Jurai, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 09 Januari 2025. Tema pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah Peningkatan Profesionalisme Guru melalui Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) di SMPN 3 IV Jurai Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan Propinsi Sumatera Barat”. Dalam konteks perbaikan mutu pendidikan, sub unsur kegiatan pengembangan  keprofessian berkelanjutan  dengan membuat  Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) diharapkan dapat mendorong guru untuk dapat memperbaiki proses pembelajaran di kelasnya. Dengan begitu guru lebih layak disebut telah bertindak profesional. Bagi guru, menulis adalah bagian dari pengembangan profesi. Dengan metode pengabdian dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu metode ceramah dan pelatihan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan para guru mampu meningkatkan  profesionalisme guru secara berkelanjutan dan meningkatkan mutu proses pembelajaran melalui pelatihan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas di SMP Negeri 3 IV Jurai Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) has been implemented at SMPN 1 Kecamatan IV Jurai, Pesisir Selatan Regency since the 2022/2023 academic year. The school has conducted workshops at the beginning of each semester to socialize the Independent Curriculum and develop teaching materials in the form of teaching modules. Teachers have also created belajar.id accounts and joined subject-specific communities both within the school and in communities across the regency. This study is motivated by several challenges encountered in implementing the Independent Curriculum, particularly in differentiated learning. These challenges include teachers’ difficulties in recognizing and understanding the individual needs of each student, such as their skill levels, interests, learning styles, and learning preferences. Additionally, teachers face challenges in developing diverse teaching materials that meet students’ needs. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the implementation of differentiated learning within the Independent Curriculum at SMPN 3 Kecamatan IV Jurai, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The informants consist of the principal, curriculum vice-principal, student affairs vice-principal, and eight teachers at SMPN 1 Kecamatan IV Jurai, selected using purposive sampling. The data consist of primary and secondary data collected through interviews and document studies. Data analysis follows the interactive model by Miles and Huberman, which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate several stages in implementing differentiated learning: 1) understanding students through diagnostic tests, both academic and non-academic; 2) formulating learning objectives; 3) developing differentiated learning strategies; and 4) using ongoing assessment. Three approaches are applied in differentiated learning at SMPN 3 Kecamatan IV Jurai, Pesisir Selatan Regency: content differentiation, process differentiation, and product differentiation.

Abstract

Hukum pidana adat merupakan sistem hukum yang hidup dan berkembang dalam masyarakat adat di Indonesia, yang diatur berdasarkan norma-norma adat yang berlaku. Hukum ini tidak tercatat dalam undang-undang resmi, namun keberadaannya sangat penting dalam menjaga ketertiban sosial di dalam komunitas adat. Hukum pidana adat berperan dalam menyelesaikan berbagai masalah yang terjadi dalam masyarakat adat dengan cara yang sesuai dengan nilai dan norma yang diyakini oleh kelompok tersebut. Salah satu bentuk implementasi hukum pidana adat dapat dilihat dalam praktik umbuak-umbai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran hukum pidana adat melalui proses umbuak-umbai serta peranannya dalam penyelesaian masalah hukum dalam masyarakat adat dan untuk mengetahui Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis norma-norma hukum adat yang berlaku dalam penyelesaian sengketa serta bagaimana umbuak-umbai dijadikan sarana untuk mencapai keadilan yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai budaya masyarakat setempat. Dengan begitu akan diketahui pentingnya peran hukum adat dalam penyelesaikan perkara khususnya perkara umbuak umbai dengan selalu mengedepankan nilai-nilai dan budaya hukum yang sudah dijunjung pada nagari Pakan Sinayan Kamang Tangah Anam Suku. Pelaksanaan hukum pidana adat sudah berjalan dengan lancar di nagari Pakan Sinayan, penanganan masalah yang dinaungi oleh niniak mamak setempat sangat cekatan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan terkhusus umbuak umbai yang menjadi pembahasan di dalam penelitian ini

Abstract

This study aims to conduct sentiment analysis on user reviews of the Riliv: Mental Health App on Google Play Store using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. The analysis process includes review data collection via web scraping, text cleaning using text preprocessing, automatic labeling based on rating scores, data transformation using the TF-IDF method, data splitting with Stratified K-Fold Cross Validation, SVM model training, and performance evaluation. The dataset comprises 2,000 reviews with an imbalanced label distribution: positive (75,3%), netral (5,3%), and negative (19,4%). The classification results show that the SVM model achieved an accuracy of 85.56%. It performed well in identifying positive sentiment with an f1-score of 0.96 and negative sentiment with 0.69. However, the model failed to classify neutral sentiment due to the small number of data, which was insufficient for meaningful pattern recognition. Evaluation and visualization results indicate that label imbalance is a major challenge. Therefore, additional strategies such as data balancing, class weighting, or the use of alternative algorithms are necessary. This research is expected to serve as a foundation for developing a more accurate and fair sentiment analysis system across all sentiment categories in the context of digital mental health services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini melihat sejauh mana pengaruh manajemen sarana dan prasarana dan ketersediaan sarana praktik mengajar dan di sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Permasalahan utama dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana ketersediaan sarana praktik di SMKN 1 Baso yang kondisinya sangat terbatas mempengaruhi cara mengajar guru di kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh manajemen sarana dan prasarana dan ketersediaan sarana praktik terhadap kinerja guru.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Literatur Review dengan kajian terhadap sepuluh literatur yang sesuai dengan inklusi penelitian yang dipilih dari jurnal terindeks menggunakan platform google scholar. Berdasarkan hasil dari beberapa artikel, dapat dinyatakan bahwa manajemen sarana dan prasarana dan ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana praktik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru secara langsung.

Abstract

Research on job satisfaction has been widely conducted, yet studies that specifically analyze the relationship between workload and work motivation in the context of public university employees remain relatively limited, particularly at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Padang. This study aims to analyze the effects of workload and work motivation on the job satisfaction of employees at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Padang. A quantitative survey design was employed, involving 36 employees selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results show that workload has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction, whereas work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employees’ job satisfaction. These findings contribute to strengthening organizational behavior theory and broaden understanding of the determinants of job satisfaction in the context of higher education institutions. The study concludes that managing workload proportionally and optimizing motivational factors are key aspects in enhancing employees’ job satisfaction, thereby requiring institutions to implement supportive policies based on reward systems, work facilities, and competency development. Theoretically, this study enriches the human resource management literature, while practically it provides a reference for policymakers in higher education institutions and opens avenues for further research exploring mediating or moderating variables in the relationships among the examined constructs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan langkah-langkah penting dalam menerapkan pola pikir dan tindakan strategis demi kemajuan pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode kepustakaan dengan menganalisis berbagai jurnal, artikel, dan literatur yang membahas strategi dalam pendidikan Islam. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa langkah-langkah utama dalam berpikir dan bertindak strategis mencakup analisis lingkungan (SWOT), identifikasi serta perumusan visi dan misi, implementasi strategi, penguatan kurikulum berbasis karakter, inovasi dalam metode pembelajaran, serta pengembangan sistem evaluasi yang adaptif dan berkelanjutan. Melalui penerapan langkah-langkah tersebut, pendidikan Islam bisa menjadi lebih relevan dan efektif dalam mempersiapkan generasi masa depan yang unggul baik dalam pengetahuan maupun dalam akhlak. Selain itu, manajemen strategis dalam pendidikan Islam mengedepankan integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dengan praktik modern, sehingga lembaga pendidikan tetap kompetitif sambil menjaga prinsip dasar seperti tauhid dan akhlak. Pendekatan ini juga mengatasi tantangan global seperti disrupsi teknologi dan perubahan budaya, mendukung pengembangan yang seimbang antara dimensi intelektual, spiritual, dan sosial.
