Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan, kelayakan dan efektivitas  Up Book dalam pembelajaran proyek sebagai strategi mengembangkan bahasa anak usia 5-6 tahun. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D), dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa UPTD TK Negeri Sei Alim Hasak yang berjumlah 25 orang siswa dan 2 orang guru TK. Objek penelitian adalah  Up Book bermuatan proyek. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Produk  Up Book memenuhi syarat dan layak digunakan berdasarkan validasi ahli materi meliputi aspek kelayakan isi dengan rata-rata 86,45% pada kriteria “sangat baik”, aspek kelayakan penyajian dengan rata-rata 84,72% pada kriteria “sangat baik”, aspek bahasa rata-rata 86,11% pada kriteria “sangat baik”, dan validasi ahli desain rata-rata 88% pada kriteria “sangat baik”; (2) Rata-rata pada siswa yang menggunakan  Up Book lebih tinggi jumlah 26 rata-rata 81,25 dibandingkan nilai rata-rata siswa sebelum menggunakan  Up Book yang berjumlah 20 dengan rata-rata 63,43. Sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa sebelum menggunakan  Up Book dan sesudah menggunakan  Up Book pada pembelajaran bahasa anak usia 5-6 tahun. Disimpulkan bahwa  Up Book yang dikembangan efektif dan layak dipakai sebagai sumber belajar. Keywords: Pop up book, pembelajaran proyek, bahasa anak

Abstract

The preliminary analysis results indicate that the quality of automotive vocational learning is not optimal. This study aims to develop a work-based learning model that incorporates the Teaching Factory concept (WBL-TEFA) with the goal of enhancing the learning achievement of automotive vocational students. Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model were implemented in this study. The results indicate that the WBL-TEFA learning model introduced novel elements to the model syntax through the following activity steps: (1) initiation, (2) receiving orders, (3) gathering necessary information, (4) generating and sorting possible solutions, (5) executing orders, (6) quality control, and (7) assessment. To implement this syntax, various supporting materials were developed, including model handbooks, lecturer and student manuals, and textbooks. Following the implementation, the experimental class demonstrated a significantly higher learning achievement gain score of 51.62 compared to the control class, which achieved a gain score of 42.52. Additionally, there was an improvement in task management abilities, work environment skills, interpersonal skills, workplace learning skills, and student critical thinking. In summary, the utilization of the WBL-TEFA learning model proved effective in enhancing students' academic performance, as evidenced by a statistically significant.

Abstract

Gading sub-district is in Datuk Bandar Tanjung Balai sub-district. In Gading sub-district there is Bandar Prosecutor River which flows into the Asahan River. So far, the people who live around that location have taken water from this river to meet their needs. The problem is that the water they consume is not suitable (smelly water, dark color when it rains, mossy). This activity aims to help partners' problems with the installation of water purification equipment. The implementation method begins with assessing the shortcomings of river water purification technology, then a site survey, equipment installation, and unit handover. The results of implementing this service have been realized at partner locations, clean water has been enjoyed by community. The standard of social life, especially the provision of clean water suitable for consumption for cooking, bathing, washing clothes and other needs, can be helped by this service where there are no similar activities in that location.

Abstract

The findings reveal that modern construction methods significantly enhance efficiency and reduce overall project costs, primarily through innovative techniques such as prefabrication and modular construction. In contrast, traditional methods excel in craftsmanship and cultural significance, often resulting in distinctive architectural features that reflect local heritage. While traditional practices demonstrate lower environmental impact through the use of locally sourced materials, modern methods are increasingly incorporating sustainable practices to mitigate their ecological footprint. This study advocates for a hybrid approach that integrates the advantages of both methodologies, suggesting that such an integration can lead to improved project outcomes while promoting sustainability and preserving cultural identity. The research contributes valuable insights for industry stakeholders seeking to balance efficiency and quality in an evolving construction landscape. Future studies are encouraged to explore practical applications of this hybrid model to enhance decision-making in construction projects.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of fabrication and operational failure factors on equipment reliability. In addition, this study also examines the impact of fabrication and operational failure factors on Maintenance Technology 4.0 and the impact of Maintenance Technology 4.0 on equipment reliability. This quantitative research was conducted at the genset product of PT XYZ. The sample of this research is the technicians of PT XYZ spread in branches throughout Indonesia, who have run Maintenance Technology 4.0 in the repair and maintenance of gensets. A non-probability sampling method, namely convenience sampling, was used to get the sample used. The number of respondents was 102 technicians. The analytical tool used is SEM-PLS 4.0. The results prove that the fabrication and operational failure factors do not affect the equipment's reliability. In contrast, the fabrication failure factor does not affect Maintenance Technology 4.0 but differs from the operational failure factor, which influences Maintenance Technology 4.0. Next, Maintenance Technology 4.0 affects equipment reliability. Meanwhile, Maintenance Technology 4.0 mediates the effect of operational failure factors on equipment reliability. In addition, Maintenance Technology 4.0 does not mediate the impact of fabrication failure factors on equipment reliability.

Abstract

This research is based on the results of a preliminary study which found the problem that learning was not optimal. The aim of the research is to develop the WBL-TEFA Learning Model Learning Module as an effort to improve valid, practical, and effective automotive vocational student academic achievement skills and task skills. The research method is Research and Development using the Borg & Gall development procedure. After implementing the WBL-TEFA Learning Module, students can build knowledge inductively and deductively, as well as learning experiences in one-way interaction, personal interaction and multi-way learning interaction. The results of this research generally produce a learning module design consisting of covers, prefaces, table of contents, module position maps in learning, glossary, pre-learning, learning, evaluation, and closing. Learning Module The WBL-TEFA Learning Model is statistically valid and practical. Whereas the average Aiken's V value obtained is 0.941, so that the contents of the Learning Module can be declared in the valid category. The WBL-TEFA Learning Module was stated to be very practical, this was shown from the results of the practicality assessment of the average lecturer response of 91.29% and student response of 89.60% in the "Very practical" category.
