Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang perubahan kadar nilai pada CO dan HC yang didapat dari emisi gas buang, sepeda motor FI memakai ECU Programmable (3 variansi perlakuan pada saat penginjeksian dan saat pengapian) penggunaan 3 jenis busi dan 3 jenis campuran ethanol di setiap pengujian. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil optimal pada pengujian terhadap emisi gas buang yang dihasilkan sepeda motor. Penelitian ini berjenis eksperimen dengan metode taguchi. Objek penelitian ini adalah sepeda motor FI. Dengan hasil penelitian, karbon monoksida (CO) dengan respon rata-rata optimal yaitu faktor A2 (2,59%), B3 (2,81%), C1 (2,67%), dan D3 (1,63%), sedangkan respon rata-rata optimal hidrokarbon (HC) yaitu faktor A2 (257,33ppm), B3 (252,44ppm), C3 (295,22ppm), dan D3 (230,89ppm). This study examines the changes in CO and HC values obtained from exhaust emissions, FI motorcycles using Programmable ECU (3 variants of treatment at the time of injection and at the time of ignition) using 3 types of spark plugs and 3 types of ethanol mixture in each test. The research aims to determine the optimal results in testing the exhaust emissions produced by motorcycles. This research is an experimental type with the Taguchi method. The object of this research is FI motorcycle. With the results of the study, carbon monoxide (CO) with the optimal average response is factor A2 (2.59%), B3 (2.81%), C1 (2.67%), and D3 (1.63%), while the optimal average response of hydrocarbons (HC) is factor A2 (257.33ppm), B3 (252.44ppm), C3 (295.22ppm), and D3 (230.89ppm).

Abstract

Kenaikan harga BBM yang cukup tinggi menjadi keluhan masyarakat karena perbandingan antara konsumsi bahan bakar kendaraan mereka dengan harga bbm menjadi menurun. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis penambahan motor listrik terhadap konsumsi bahan bakar pada objek penelitian. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen. Objek penelitian adalah sepeda motor matic. Instrument penelitian adalah odometer dan gelas ukur. Peneliti melakukan pengujian konsumsi bahan bakar dengan metode statis. Penggunaan motor listrik pada roda belakang sepeda motor matic dapat menurunkan volume bahan bakar sehingga konsumsi bahan bakar menjadi meningkat dari rata-rata 87,22 Km/L menjadi rata-rata 103.52 Km/L. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah penambahan motor listrik pada roda belakang sepeda motor matic dapat meningkatkan konsumsi bahan bakar. Hal ini dapat mengatasi keluhan masyarakat terhadap kenaikan harga BBM.    The high increase in fuel prices has become a public complaint because the comparison between the fuel consumption of their vehicles and the price of fuel has decreased. The purpose of this research is to analyze the addition of an electric motor to fuel consumption on the object of research. This research was conducted using the experimental method. The object of research is a matic motorcycle. The research instrument is an odometer and measuring cup. Researchers conducted fuel consumption testing using the static method. The use of an electric motor on the rear wheel of an automatic motorcycle can reduce the volume of fuel so that fuel consumption increases from an average of 87.22 Km/L to an average of 103.52 Km/L. The research results obtained are the addition of an electric motor to the rear wheel of an automatic motorcycle can increase fuel consumption. This can overcome public complaints about rising fuel prices.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran yang masih konvensional belum menjadi media yang efesien. Dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran menggunakan simulator bisa menarik perhatian peserta didik dalam pembelajara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh penerapan Media Simulator terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pemeliharaan SPT Sepeda Motor Jurusan Teknik Bisnis Sepeda Motor di SMK N 2 Payakumbuh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan populasi dalam sebanyak 34 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Yang diolah melalui SPSS V 20 dan microsoft excel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa simulator berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa Jurusan TSM di SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh diterima yang dapat dilihat dari uji koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,568 dengan persentase 32,3 % yang artinya terdapat pengaruh yang kuat. Maka dapat dilihat semakin besar nilai variabel media simulator semakin besar pula nilai hasil belajar. Learning models that are still conventional have not become efficient media. By using learning media using simulators can attract the attention of students in learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of Simulator Media on student learning outcomes in Motorcycle SPT Maintenance subjects, Department of Motorcycle Business Engineering at SMK N 2 Payakumbuh. This type of research is experimental research with a population of 34 students. Data collected through tests, observation and documentation. Which is processed through SPSS V 20 and microsoft excel. The results of this study indicate that the simulator has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of TSM Department students at SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh, which can be seen from the determination coefficient test of 0.568 with a percentage of 32.3%, which means that there is a strong influence. So it can be seen that the greater the value of the simulator media variable, the greater the value of learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK) dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah menggunakan metode pembelajaran snowball throwing.  Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TKR B SMK Negeri 1 Padang, semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah sebanyak 30 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian di ambil dengan melakukan tes dan teknik observasi. Penggunaan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. Pada mata pelajaran Pemeliharaan Sasis dan Pemindah Tenaga Kendaraan Ringan (PSPTKR) di SMK Negeri 1 Padang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan nilai ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik. Pada siklus I sebesar 43,33% menjadi meningkat sebesar 86,67% pada siklus II. Classroom Action Research was conducted to determine the level of activity and learning outcomes of students after using the snowball throwing learning method.  The subjects in this research were students in class XI TKR B of SMK Negeri 1 Padang, semester 2 of the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 30 students. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique. Research data was taken by carrying out tests and observation techniques. Using the Snowball Throwing learning model can improve learning outcomes. In the subject of chassis maintenance and light vehicle power transfer at SMK Negeri 1 Padang. The research results showed an increase in the completeness score of students' learning outcomes in cycle I by 43.33% up to 86.67% in cycle II.

Abstract

Getaran mesin yang berlebihan dapat mengganggu kenyamanan dalam berkendaraan, getaran tinggi menimbulkan kebisingan yang dapat mengganggu pendengaran ketika berkendaran. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis penggunaan roller rocker arm terhadap getaran, kebisingan dan temperature oli mesin pada sepeda motor 4 TAK. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Objek yang digunakan sepeda motor tiger revo 200 cc, instrumen yang digunakan yaitu vibration meter, sound level meter thermocouple. Untuk mendapatkan kesimpulan dari hasil pengujian penelitian ini mengunakan rumus statistik mean dan persentase. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan dari data yang di peroleh dapat di simpulkan terdapat penurunan getaran sebesar 4.21%, 12.85%, 5.58%, 11.58%. Kebisingan sebesar -0.63%, 0.11%, 0.90%, 1,55% dan temperature oli mesin sebesar 1.35 %, 1.43 %, 2.76 %, 13.67 %. Excessive engine vibration can interfere with driving comfort, high vibrations cause noise which can interfere with hearing when driving. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the use of roller rocker arms on vibration, noise and engine oil temperature on 4-STRIKE motorbikes. This type of research is quantitative using experimental methods. The object used is a 200 cc Tiger Revo motorbike, the instruments used are vibration meter, sound level meter thermocouple. To obtain conclusions from the test results, this research uses statistical formulas for mean and percentage. After carrying out calculations from the data obtained, it can be concluded that there is a reduction in vibrations of 4.21%, 12.85%, 5.58%, 11.58%. Noise is -0.63%, 0.11%, 0.90%, 1.55% and engine oil temperature is 1.35%, 1.43%, 2.76%, 13.67%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak terhadap torsi dan daya sepeda motor saat menggunakan clutch disc dan clutch spring standar dengan aftermarket. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen menggunakan sepeda motor Honda Supra X 125 FI. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara pengumpulan data secara langsung pada sepeda motor Honda Supra X 125 FI, kemudian hasil uji diolah menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif persentase. Penelitian ini membandingkan torsi dan daya yang dihasilkan saat menggunakan clutch disc dan clutch spring standar dengan aftermarket.  Penggunaan clutch disc standar dengan clutch spring aftermarket yang paling ideal dalam meningkatkan torsi dan daya, dengan peningkatan torsi sekitar 0,3% dan peningkatan daya sekitar 4,3%. Dibandingkan dengan penggunaan clutch disc standar dengan clutch spring standar. This research aims to analyze the impact on motorbike torque and power when using standard and aftermarket of  clutch disc and clutch springs. The method used in this research was an experiment with the Honda Supra X 125 FI motorcycle. The data collection technique in this research was carried out by collecting data directly on the Honda Supra X 125 FI motorcycle, then the test results were processed using descriptive percentage analysis techniques. This research compares the torque and power produced when using standard clutch disc and aftermarket clutch springs ones. Using standard clutch disc with spring aftermarket clutches is the most ideal increased torque and power with an increase in torque of around 0.3% and an increase in power of around 4.3%. Compared to using standard clutch disc with standard clutch springs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui intensitas cahaya dan arah daya pancar yang dihasilkan oleh lampu depan mobil sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 jenis lampu yaitu halogen (standar), pijar, dan LED, dengan tujuan untuk mengukur intensitas cahaya mobil avanza 1,5 tipe G tahun 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dan menggunakan teknik analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil pengujian intensitas cahaya yang sesuai dengan standar peraturan pemerintah adalah lampu LED dan lampu halogen dengan intensitas cahaya lampu dekat LED sebesar 32.000 candela, lampu jauh sebesar 28.000 candela. Sedangkan lampu dekat halogen sebesar 13.000 candela, lampu jauh sebesar 12.000 candela. Dan hasil arah daya pancar yang sesuai dengan standar peraturan pemerintah adalah lampu halogen dan lampu pijar dengan penyimpangan pijar lampu dekat dan jauh sama sebesar kiri – kana 0’, atas – bawah -0.20’. Sedangkan lampu halogen (standar) dekat dan jauh sama yaitu kiri – kanan 0’, atas – bawah -0.30’. This research is to determine the light intensity and direction of the radiated power produced by car headlights in accordance with the standards set by the government. This research used 3 types of lights, namely halogen (standard), incandescent and LED to measure the light intensity of the 2013 Avanza 1.5 type G car. The research method used was experimental and used quantitative data analysis techniques. The light intensity test results that comply with government regulatory standards are LED lights and halogen lamps with a light intensity near the LED light of 32,000 candela, far light light of 28,000 candela. Meanwhile, halogen headlights are 13,000 candela, high beam lights are 12,000 candela. And the results of the direction of the radiated power that is in accordance with government regulatory standards are halogen lamps and incandescent lamps with the deviation of the incandescence of the near and far lamps being the same as left - right 0', top - bottom -0.20'. Meanwhile, near and far halogen lamps (standard) are the same, namely left - right 0', top - bottom -0.30'.

Abstract

The main aim of SMK is to prepare students to have the practical skills and knowledge needed to enter the world of work. After completing education at vocational school, students can immediately work or choose to continue their education to a higher level. The alignment between the vocational school curriculum and industry demands, especially in graduate skills training (link and match), is currently not yet optimal so it is not adequate to meet the needs of the world of work, industry and business. Even though certain efforts and policies have been made, there are still a number of problems faced by vocational school students. At SMKN 1 Koto Baru, one of the fundamental problems that need special attention in learning is the lack of availability of Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) competencies. This skill is a very important competency, especially in the Motorcycle Engineering and Business (TBSM) program. The results of observations in schools show that practical equipment for both teachers in the teaching process and for students as practical objects is sufficient and always updated. This happens because SMKN 1 Koto Baru has workshop and laboratory facilities which are equipped with adequate equipment. Apart from that, the instruments used in the practicum are good and can be operated according to the standards they should be. Therefore, training was carried out on the use of the smart simulator to increase learning activities because it involved technology in this training which provided new experiences to students. From the results of the activity, it can be seen that students are very enthusiastic and have increased activity in learning because they can carry out a more complete and clear exploration of learning about the EFI system on motorbikes

Abstract

This study discusses the distribution of heat in the drum brake system using the experimental method using drums as the braking medium. The test was carried out using the brake test prototype process with the application of press and release. The test data collection technique is using three methods, namely by applying the same amount of press and release of the brake (20 seconds of pressure and 20 seconds of release), the application of press and release of the brake is released more than pressed (30 seconds is released and 10 seconds is pressed), and the application of press and release is more pressed than released (20 seconds pressed and 10 seconds released). The results showed that the highest temperature obtained in the application of brakes for 20 seconds and release for 20 seconds on standard drum brakes reached 61.8 º C, while applying the brakes for 10 seconds and releasing them for 30 seconds reached 46.3 º C, and applying the brakes for 20 seconds and releasing them for 10 seconds achieved a temperature increase of 73.5 º C. Penelitian ini berdiskusi tentang distribusi panas pada sistem rem tromol dengan metode eksperimen menggunakan tromol sebagai media pengereman. Adapun teknik pengambilan data pengujian yaitu dengan tiga metode, yaitu dengan pengaplikasian tekan dan lepas rem sama banyak (20 detik tekan dan 20 detik lepas), pengaplikasian tekan dan lepas rem lebih banyak dilepas dari pada ditekan (30 detik dilepas dan 10 detik ditekan), dan pengaplikasian tekan dan lepas rem lebih banyak ditekan dari pada dilepas (20 detik ditekan dan 10 detik dilepas). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan suhu tertinggi yang didapatkan pada pengaplikasian rem selama 20 detik dan lepas selama 20 detik pada rem tromol standard mencapai 61,8oC, sementara pengaplikasian rem 10 detik dan lepas selama 30 detik mencapapi 46,3oC, dan pengaplikasian rem 20 detik dan lepas selama 10 detik mencapai kenaikan suhu 73,5oC.

Abstract

The preliminary analysis results indicate that the quality of automotive vocational learning is not optimal. This study aims to develop a work-based learning model that incorporates the Teaching Factory concept (WBL-TEFA) with the goal of enhancing the learning achievement of automotive vocational students. Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model were implemented in this study. The results indicate that the WBL-TEFA learning model introduced novel elements to the model syntax through the following activity steps: (1) initiation, (2) receiving orders, (3) gathering necessary information, (4) generating and sorting possible solutions, (5) executing orders, (6) quality control, and (7) assessment. To implement this syntax, various supporting materials were developed, including model handbooks, lecturer and student manuals, and textbooks. Following the implementation, the experimental class demonstrated a significantly higher learning achievement gain score of 51.62 compared to the control class, which achieved a gain score of 42.52. Additionally, there was an improvement in task management abilities, work environment skills, interpersonal skills, workplace learning skills, and student critical thinking. In summary, the utilization of the WBL-TEFA learning model proved effective in enhancing students' academic performance, as evidenced by a statistically significant.
