Abstract

Banjir yang terjadi di Sungai Bringin menyebabkan kerugian finansial bagi masyarakat di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini bermaksud menentukan system pengendali banjir yang paling efisien dan merespon keinginan masyarakat sekitar Sungai Bringin tentang upaya-upaya pengelolaan banjir. Perhitungan debit banjir dilakukan dengan menggunakan pemodelan (Hydrologic Modeling System) HEC-HMS. Hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa debit untuk kondisi eksisting di hilir Sungai Bringin dengan kala ulang 100th sebesar 425,7 m3/dt. Pada perencanaan, terdapat delapan lokasi embung potensi. Pada analisis di rencanakan 2 simulasi yaitu pengendalian banjir dengan embung dan dry dam. Hasil analisis debit dengan adanya rencana embung, ditinjau pada hilir Sungai Bringin dapat mereduksi banjir sebesar 151,8 m3/dt dengan Persentase 34,5 persen. Sedangkan hasil simulasi menggunakan dry dam dapat mereduksi banjir sebesar 210,8 m3/dt, dengan Persentase sebesar 48,3 persen. Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa pembangunan beberapa dry dam merupakan teknik terpilih sebagai upaya peredaman debit. Metode dry dam merupakan metode yang ideal untuk mengatasi banjir di Sungai Bringin.

Abstract

Air bersih yang digunakan sehari-hari harus memiliki kualitas yang baik untuk konsumsi sesuai dengan standar air minum di Indonesia yaitu PP No.82 Tahun 2001 dan KepMen No.907 Tahun 2002. Secara umum kebijakan pemerintah dalam bidang pembangunan prasarana penyediaan air bersih direalisasikan dengan membangun sistem perpipaan.  Beberapa sumber air baku yang dapat digunakan untuk penyediaan air minum antara lain air hujan, air permukaan, mata air, air tanah. Penggunaan air dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sangat beragam tergantung dari jenis pemakaiannya. EPA NET adalah program komputer yang secara luas melakukan periode simulasi dari hidrolika dan kualitas air dalam jaringan pipa bertekanan. Jaringan tersebut dapat terdiri dari sumber air, tangki penyimpanan atau reservoir, pipa, titik percabangan pipa, pompa, dan katup. EPA NET juga dapat mensimulasikan konsentrasi zat kimia yang ditambahkan pada suatu jaringan, umur air dan pola outflow dari sumber air. Dari hasil simulasi pemodelan program epanet 2.2 dengan periode waktu 72 jam diperoleh debit air yang dibutuhkan untuk menuhi 1570 jiwa jumlah penduduk sebesar 2,56 lt/detik,  sisa tekan minimum 1,64 meter kolom air di Patok 30 pada jam puncak pada (di seting padan jam 08.00 ). sisa tekan masimum 22,86 meter kolom air di Patok 8 pada jam puncak (di seting padan jam 08.00 ). kecepatan air dalam pipa minimum sebesar 0,03 m/detik dan maksimum 1,31 m/detik. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air dengan jumlah jiwa 1750 dengan kebutuhan air rata sebesar 2,03 liter/detik diperlukan kapasitas Bak penampung sebesar 20 m3.

Abstract

The East Semarang watershed is an area with diverse land conditions and the majority of the upstream and downstream areas are converted into settlements. This results in an increase in the rate of erosion which erodes the land and causes sedimentation in the downstream watershed. The higher the erosion rate, the higher the sedimentation, therefore the prediction of the erosion value is important as an indicator to recommend natural resource conservation activities. The purpose of this study is to predict erosion and sedimentation rates, and to recommend good conservation methods in an effort to reduce soil erosion. Land erosion analysis was obtained from the overlay of erosion parameter layers with the help of the ArcGIS program using the USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) method. Not all of the eroded soil surface in the watershed will be transported to the river, but some will settle on the watershed surface due to the interaction between the flow and the watershed surface. Sediments carried by measured river flows at the outlet were analyzed using the SDR (Sediment Delivery Ratio) method. Then it can be known the amount of sediment per year in the East Semarang watershed or by the term SY (Sediment Yield). Based on the calculation of land erosion in the East Semarang watershed, as big as 816,910.81 tons/year, which resulted in a total sedimentation of 4,641.39 tons/year. Erosion hazard classifications vary from very light to very severe, with the majority of the class being very severe in the upstream region with an area of ​​7,003.55 Ha. The recommendation proposed to overcome or reduce erosion is technical conservation, namely terracing and check dam techniques.

Abstract

Pemerintah Kota Semarang berkolaborasi dalam menangani banjir dan rob. Beberapa projek besar seperti jalan tol tanggul laut, pembuatan kolam retensi dan rumah pompa, normalisasi sungi, pembuatan tampungan embung di daerah hulu. Infrastruktur tersebut sifatnya hanya menahan, memindahkan, dan menampung dengan kapasitas serta durasi yang terbatas. Dengan adanya Pipa Resapan Horisontal (PRH) yang sudah terpasang maka perlu adanya evaluasi terhadap beberapa aspek. Dalam penelitian ini aspek yang akan ditinjau adalah evaluasi dari segi pemasangan PRH, sudah memenuhi standar teknis atau belum. Peneliti akan melakukan evaluasi fisik pemasangan yang ada di lokasi Kecamatan Gajahmungkur sebanyak 52 titik. Berdasarkan penilaian fisik dan pembobotan maka diperoleh hasil pada Lokasi Gajahmungkur kondisinya adalah cukup dengan nilai 8087.5 atau 80,87%. Perlu adanya aktivitas operasional dan maintenance pada masing-masing PRH seperti membersihkan sedimen yang ada didalam PRH dengan melakukan flushing, atau pengangkatan pipa PRH, agar PRH dapat berfungsi secara efektif. Perlu dilakukan evaluasi efektivitas resapan lanjutan terhadap PRH yang sudah terpasang.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to strengthen the added value of each student through the ability to read and write academic and non-academic articles. Community service methods through tutorials, workshops, and assignments which are synergized with life skills teaching and extracurricular activities at SMAN 2 Mranggen. The service team, which consists of lecturers and students, works together by conducting training and supporting SMAN 2 Mranggen students in designing writing frameworks, creating writings, and publishing them in competitions, media, and newspapers. Considering the new normal situation after the COVID-19 pandemic, training can be carried out face-to-face with the PKM Team and training participants. In carrying out the training, we have coordinated together according to the time and place that has been determined. way of thinking, perspective, and behavior of SMAN 2 Mranggen students to participate individually and in groups in environmentally friendly activities to create an efficient and responsible lifestyle for the future. It can be concluded that this PKM activity has created a foundation of learning experiences and skills that enable students to describe their thoughts in a clear, sequential, logical language, taught practical ways of writing KTI, and detailed in the educational process of secondary education and then in higher education. Provides benefits if it is introduced in high school.

Abstract

Occupational safety, health, and environment (OSH) is inseparable from the labor and human resources system. Not only are safety, health and the work environment very important for employees, but safety, health, and the work environment also determine workplace productivity. According to Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Employment, what is meant by employment for workers is the obligation to provide protection, including the welfare of body and soul, safety, and health of workers. Companies take various steps to protect their employees from the dangers of work accidents. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is an effort to protect part or all of the body from the potential hazards of work accidents and occupational diseases. This activity aims to foster a sense of responsibility among workers regarding the importance of implementing OSH so that they can minimize the number of work accidents. The method used in socialization is lectures. The results obtained are an increase in workers' understanding and discipline regarding the importance of OSH in the field.

Abstract

Natural disasters are a threat to the people in Semarang City. Especially in areas that have complex topographical characteristics such as in the Ngemplak Simongan village area of Semarang City. Some of these areas are in conditions that have steep slopes and are in cliff areas. The Community Service activities provide socialization related to the landslide Early Warning System. An Early Warning System (EWS) is a system that informs the occurrence of natural disasters. The socialization activity aims to provide knowledge of making a simple EWS that can be made by the affected community in detecting landslides early. The socialization succeeded in increasing the knowledge of how the early warning system works. Residents can understand the necessary EWS components through training, evacuation drills, and EWS tool introduction materials. The data collected showed that the technique used was successful, although there were residents who still did not understand, it could effectively increase residents' knowledge.

Abstract

Perkembangan Teknologi dewasa ini mengalami pertumbuhan yang sangat pesat. Perlunya peningkatan kemampuan suatu lulusan perguruna tinggi yang dibekali kemampuan hardskill dan softskill. Khususnya pada matakuliah hidrologi, drainase dan kualitas air yaitu software SWMM. Kegiatan pelatihan ini memberikan pemahaman dan kemampuan pengembangan softskill bagi mahasiswa. Pelaksanaan Pelatihan menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi/praktik dan melakukan evaluasi dengan memberikan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test yang diberikan di awal kegiatan dan setelah diberikan pelatihan software SWMM (Storm Water Management Model). Pelatihan ditujukan kepada Mahasiswa Teknik Sipil. Tutorial menitikberatkan pada pemodelan,persiapan pengisian parameter yang dibutuhkan seperti data hujan, data penampang saluran, kemiringan saluran/slope, yang tidak kalah penting adalah arah aliran serta elevasi pada junction saluran. Nantinya akan dilakukan simulasi sehingga dapat menghasilkan output berupa debit banjir. Berdasarkan hasil kegitaan pelatihan diperoleh hasil bahwa kegitana PKM ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dan softskill yang dapat menjadi bekal dalam mempersiapkan diri jika nantinya masuk pada dunia kerja. Hasil capaian berdasarkan kuesioner pre-test sebesar 26% setelah dilakukan pelatihan mengalami peningkatan menjadi 98%.

Abstract

The main issue in the operation of reservoirs is sedimentation. This can lead to silting and affect the reservoir's storage capacity. The distribution of sediments needs to be understood in order to gain an overview of their spread, so that measures can be taken to address sediment-related issues in the Jatibarang Reservoir. The analysis was conducted using sediment data from previous studies, which reported a total sediment volume of 6.64 million m³ over a period of 50 years. Based on topographic data, it was found that the Jatibarang Reservoir is classified as Type III, with a "hill" classification. The analysis results showed that the dimensionless factor F is 0.22, with a relative depth p of 0.53. Based on the sediment distribution analysis of the Jatibarang Reservoir with Empirical Area Reduction Method, it was found that after 50 years of operation, the new zero elevation of the reservoir would be at an elevation of +126.82 m. In comparison with the low water surface elevation at the existing dead storage of the Jatibarang Reservoir, which is at +136 m, it can be concluded that the Jatibarang reservoir can operate according to the planned lifespan and can still function for more than 50 years

Abstract

Risk management is defined as a systematic process that includes planning, organizing, leading, and controlling organizational activities to minimize the likelihood of revenue loss. PT Mustiko Klopo Jati faces challenges related to improving construction risk management practices. The implementation of this activity is carried out in the Bulog Warehouse Construction Project. The objective of this community service program (PKM) is to provide risk management training with a focus on the preparation of the Construction Safety Plan (RKK). This training aims to enhance participants’ knowledge in preparing RKK documents in accordance with the latest regulatory standards. Before the training, 48% of participants had a limited understanding of the RKK preparation process; following the training, the level of understanding among construction practitioners increased to 85%. It is expected that this activity will provide solutions to the identified problems and foster effective collaboration with industry partners, thereby contributing to innovation in the implementation of efficient and appropriate construction practices.
