Abstract

This article aims to reveal the role of Asbabunnuzul's knowledge on learning lessons in an Islamic school. This knowledge of asbabunnuzul was increasingly emphasized after the public discovery of subject matter which allegedly contained elements of a call to action on radicalism. Finally, at the end of 2019, the Ministry of Religion decided to overhaul the entire syllabus of PAI (Education of Islamic Religion) and Arabic learning materials from the MI (Islamic Elementary School) to the Madrasah Aliyah. Knowledge of asbabunnuzul a verse will make the Koran and the Prophet's hadiths have a relevant interpretation of their time as well as being able to capture divine messages in response to developments in social problems that exist in the contemporary era. It is from here that the material of the Qur'an hadith in Madrasah Aliyah and Tsanawiyah can develop not only to adhere to classical exegesion but to a more dynamic direction and to respond to the times.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss Raimon Panikkar's religious theory, which he callsthe Cosmotheandric Vision. This theory is the result of Panikkar's experienceof navigating religious life. Then this theory is implemented in learningmanagement in the classroom. Therefore, Islamic education has always beendirected at the transmission of rigid dogmas, which have resulted a generationthat is less tolerant of differences. Meanwhile, at the same time, the seeking fora moderate learning model is still under debate and long discussion. This articleanswers at least two basic questions. First, how to explain the theory ofCosmotheandric Vision. This Cosmotheandric Vision emphasizes differencesas part of the difference in the universe. Although the universe has differentparts, all of them lead to one vision, complementing the others to get in harmonywith direction of universe. Second, how to implement the theory ofCosmotheandric Vision in Islamic education. Islamic education has basicallyintroduced the closing concept with the sentence “wallahu a'lam”. This sentenceis in line with Raimon Panikkar's cosmos view, which explains that the logoswill never be able to achieve God's truth (theos). The word “wallahu a'lam”has to be implemented in more depth regarding of truth the difference that theowner of truth is only One, Allah, while what educators teach is just a “belief”wich is far from the word “faith”.

Abstract

Terus berulangnya kasus kekerasan yang berujung kematian di pondok pesantren adalah sebuah ironi. Islam adalah agama yang mengajarkan nilai welas asih, serta mengutuk kekerasan dan tindak penghilangan nyawa tanpa hak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kasus kekerasan yang berujung kematian di pondok pesantren dari pemberitaan media. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis profil pelaku, motif dan sebaran geografis tempat kejadian perkara. Peneliti mengkaji 15 kasus kekerasan yang berujung kematian dalam kurun 2022 hingga 2024. Kriteria kasus yang dianalisis pada penelitian ini adalah 1) kematian santri pesantren yang diakibatkan tindak kekerasan, 2) diberitakan oleh media massa kredibel, dan 3) terjadi dalam kurun 3 tahun terakhir (2022 hingga 2024). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 67% pelaku tindak kekerasan adalah senior atau orang yang oleh pengelola pondok pesantren diberi kepercayaan mengurus pondok pesantren. Sedangkan pemicu terjadinya kasus adalah perselisihan antar individu dan tuduhan pencurian. Sedangkan motif tindak kekerasan didominasi oleh motif memberikan hukuman yang diniatkan “untuk mendisplinkan”. Sedangkan berdasarkan persebaran geografis lokasi kejadian adalah pulau jawa sebesar 80%, dengan rincian 6 kasus di Jawa Timur, dan masing-masing 3 kasus di Jawa Tengah dan Jawa Barat, selebihnya tersebar di provinsi dan pulau lainnya. Implikasi dari penelitian adalah pentingnya bagi pesantren untuk memberikan kewenangan yang jelas, terukur, dan termonitor kepada senior atau pengurus, terutama dalam hal membina dan menyelesaikan masalah di pesantren. Selain itu, pesantren perlu mengupayakan agar nilai welas asih dan anti-kekerasan yang merupakan inti ajaran agama Islam tidak hanya sebatas menjadi pengetahuan, tapi juga menjadi habit yang terus dilatihkan.

Abstract

This article aims to reveal the role of eco-theology in environmental journalism which has rarely been discussed by researchers. This article fills the void that is still not filled. Religion for journalists is appointed as a frame to make news raised in religious moral values. This leads to a question, what is the role of religion (eco-theology) in environmental journalism? After analyzing various objects in the form of books through literature study, this article concludes several things. Among them, has religion has laid down very deep principles of environmental ethics? however, in the reality of human life, especially in Indonesia, it is still so busy with studies of religious formalities. This has resulted in views on issues related to the environment that are less attractive to religious adherents. Second, the environmental ethical values contained in religion can be an inspiration in environmental coverage. This will, as expected by this research, make environmental journalists stand on eco-theological norms to be more pro-environmental conservation.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

MAN 2 Tulungagung sudah mendeklarasikan diri sebagai Madrasah Ramah Anak melalui SK yang mereka terbitkan di tahun 2023. Deklarasi tersebut merupakan sebuah tindaklanjut atas visi misi mereka yang mengedepankan lingkungan pembelajaran yang kondusif untuk belajar. Namun, modal yang demikian belum dirasa cukup untuk mengimplementasi Sekolah Ramah Anak di lingkungan madrasah. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menelisik modal yang dimiliki MAN 2 Tulungagung untuk implementasi sekolah ramah anak. Kemudian memberikan deskripsi bagaimana program sosialisasi program ramah anak diadakan di MAN 2 Tulungagung. Penelitian berbasis pengabdian ini menggunakan metode pengabdian Asset Based Community Development dengan mengarusutamakan potensi yang dimiliki oleh MAN 2 Tulungagung kemudian diadakan pengembangan (development). Penelitian ini mengambil kesimpulan bahwa MAN 2 Tulungagung telah mengantongi modal berupa Surat Keputusan Kepala Madrasah, serta sosialisasi SK tersebut kepada seluruh civitas akademika MAN 2 Tulungagung. Sosialisasi Program Ramah anak yang dilaksanakan oleh Tim Pengabdian telah menghasilkan rekomendasi MAN 2 Tulungagung untuk menerbitkan Standard Operasional Prosedure untuk menanggulangi peristiwa yang bertentangan dengan prinsip ramah anak.

Abstract

This study aims to address the problem of plastic waste generated by children's activities at the Qur’anic Education Center (TPQ) in Kediren Village, Lembeyan Subdistrict, Magetan Regency, through community empowerment based on waste management. This is an applied research combined with community service activities. The method used is the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which focuses on developing local assets and potential. The results of this activity include the establishment of a waste bank in the village and improved community skills in transforming plastic waste into handicraft products such as decorative flowers, brooches, and wallets. This initiative has proven effective in reducing environmental pollution, increasing the economic value of plastic waste, and promoting the growth of the community's creative economy. Furthermore, this program represents a tangible contribution of higher education institutions in implementing the Tri Dharma of higher education, particularly in the aspect of community service.

Abstract

This research will examine how organizational institutions influence the formation of individual behaviour, while many other studies emphasize how individual behaviour influences organizational culture. This research will provide a broader picture of the factors that influence the formation of individual behaviour, especially from the perspective of organizational institutions. The method used in this research is a literature study, which collects data through written sources such as relevant journals and books. Data analysis was done using descriptive analysis, looking for patterns and finding themes from the collected materials. This study concludes (1) Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia can shape the biographical character of moderate Indonesian Islam, (2) Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia seek to shape individual behaviour that has the expected abilities following Islamic teachings and principles, (3) Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia strive to form positive personalities, namely individuals who have integrity, professionalism, innovation, responsibility and exemplary. (4) The process of behaviour change that occurs in Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia can occur through social interaction, understanding of Islamic teachings, and the relationship between individual behaviour and the consequences it produces. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji bagaimana institusi organisasi mempengaruhi pembentukan perilaku individu, sementara banyak penelitian lain yang menekankan bagaimana perilaku individu mempengaruhi budaya organisasi. Penelitian ini akan memberikan gambaran yang lebih luas mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pembentukan perilaku individu, terutama dari sudut pandang institusi organisasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur, yaitu pengumpulan data melalui sumber tertulis seperti jurnal dan buku yang relevan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif, mencari pola dan menemukan tema dari bahan yang dikumpulkan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan (1) Lembaga pendidikan Islam di Indonesia dapat membentuk karakter biografi Islam Indonesia yang moderat, (2) Lembaga pendidikan Islam di Indonesia berupaya membentuk perilaku individu yang memiliki kemampuan yang diharapkan sesuai dengan ajaran dan prinsip Islam, (3) Pendidikan Islam institusi di Indonesia berupaya untuk membentuk pribadi-pribadi positif, yaitu individu-individu yang mempunyai integritas, profesionalisme, inovasi, tanggung jawab dan keteladanan. (4) Proses perubahan perilaku yang terjadi pada lembaga pendidikan Islam di Indonesia dapat terjadi melalui interaksi sosial, pemahaman ajaran Islam, dan hubungan antara perilaku individu dengan akibat yang ditimbulkannya.
