Abstract

Di media massa, perempuan sering dipresentasikan semata-mata sebagai objek dan melupakan personalitasnya. Bahkan eksploitasi terhadap mereka kerap dilakukan oleh media massa. Contoh sederhana yang sering kita dijumpai adalah pada iklan komersial. Model peraga iklan tersebut akan memainkan lekuk tubuh dan peranan tertentu, itulah yang kiranya sering disalahpahami dan dapat memicu penindasan bagi kaum perempuan. Perempuan yang berkecimpung di industri hiburan, salah satunya televisi, seringkali menjadi korban dari orang-orang seprofesi. Media massa yang seyogyanya memberi pendidikan yang baik justru menjadi bagian penindasan terstruktur bagi perempuan. Bagian-bagian tubuh tertentu yang sering mengundang gairah bagi laki-laki sering dipertontonkan dan menjadi obyek yang asyik bagi kamera. Padahal Allah swt telah berfirman bahwa perempuan laiknya permata yakut dan marjan. Kemewahan tersebut tak semestinya membuat perempuan mengumbar keindahannya, sebisanya ia harus menjaga diri. Dan bagi laki-laki, sudah sepatutnya ia menjaga pandangan dan memposisikan dirinya sebagai pelindung lawan jenisnya itu. Kata kunci: Media Massa, Perempuan, Islam.

Abstract

Entering the 21st centuries, women in engineering are still severely under-represented both in the field of education and the industrial sector. This under-representation can be seen in work environment, people behavior, entrance education and many more that are not yet exposed. Thus, this topic has become a concern and emergence for the public and academics and inspired them to conduct research in women in engineering. This research aims to provide a manual on emerging trends of women in engineering related studies using science mapping analysis method and investigate the current state of the art of women in engineering. Data collection for science mapping analysis using the Scopus database search without limitation on the year of publication regarding women in engineering. This research uses VOSViewer software as a tool to help visualize the data that had been downloaded from Scopus database. Results and discussions based on the research shows that the research publication about women in engineering for the last three decades continues to increase. Followed by the United States as the most contributed and cited country in scientific publication, then Layne P. and Bougue B. as the most contributed authors and widely quoted by other authors, for the most trustworthy sources there is Journal of Engineering Education, and based on the most quoted affiliation is Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, then for the most discussed topic is STEM, intersectionality, and science based on co-occurrence analysis. Thus, the research can give a bigger picture of the development of women in engineering for future research

Abstract

Continuing to study abroad is currently an effective option for exploring deeper into the field of expertise. Enriching life experience, increasing competence, and self-cultivation emerged as the most prominent personal motivation. The aims of this study are (1) to find out the development of research study abroad during the last two decades; (2) to analyze the distribution map of study abroad publications based on co-authorship; (3) to analyze the distribution map of study abroad publications based on co-citation; (4) to analyze the distribution map of study abroad publications based on citations; (5) to analyze the distribution map of study abroad publications based on co-occurrence; and (6) to explore the factors that influence students to continue their studies abroad. The method used in this study is a mixed method of quantitative and qualitative methods. The results obtained are (1) publications on the topic of study abroad have increased on average over the last two decades; (2) collaboration between countries, authors, and sources based on co-authorship analysis; (3) collaboration between countries, authors, and organizations based on citation analysis; (4) collaboration between authors and sources based on co-citation analysis; (5) keyword relatedness based on co-occurrence analysis; and (6) several factors that influence study abroad participation such as quality of education, intrinsic motivation, cross-cultural competence, social motivation, and financial or grant program availability. The implication of this research is to provide insight into the level of interest and various factors that can influence students to continue their studies abroad so that later they can be taken into consideration by the students themselves

Abstract

Graphic User Interface (GUI) pada suatu sistem Internet of Things (IoT) salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh monitor yang mudah diakses, fleksibel, serta efisien dalam penggunaannya. Hal ini sudah banyak didiskusikan namun masalah tersebut masih belum dapat ditingkatkan. Salah satu solusi dari masalah tersebut adalah dengan dihadirkannya MQTT Adafruit, yang mana dengan menggunakan MQTT Adafruit GUI untuk memonitor suatu sistem IoT dapat mempermudah kontrol dan kendali jarak jauh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghadirkan sistem monitoring beban listrik dan perbaikan faktor daya menggunakan PZEM004T berbasis IoT yang sudah menggunakan MQTT Adafruit sebagai user interface-nya. Metode yang digunakan melalui pendekatan analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation (ADDIE). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sistem ini layak digunakan karena berdasarkan hasil percobaan faktor daya yang sebelumnya 0,35 menjadi 0,89 setelah dilakukan perbaikan faktor daya. Sistem ini juga memberikan kemudahan bagi pengguna dan dapat melakukan monitoring secara real time arus, tegangan, faktor daya, daya nyata, daya semu, dan daya reaktif baik hanya dengan menggunakan smartphone, laptop, tablet, maupun komputer. Berdasarkan hasil uji reliabilitas alat ini memiliki selisih yang kecil antara setiap hasil percobaan.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic, which has occurred for more than two years, has left various problems in learning. According to the opinion of most teachers and students, learning using an online approach in some courses was less effective. For example, the Embedded Systems course (ES) stimulates students to do product development. Online learning even tended to cause a loss of motivation, especially in applied studies that require adequate time and facilities to do the practicum. Hence there is a need for a learning method that can be a solution to the problems caused by the online approach. In the ES, students are required to understand the not only theory but also practice comprehensively. Therefore, a more sophisticated strategy is necessary. To enable students to see and assess the events that transpired during product development, collaborated research-based learning (CRL) is expected to be a proper method to tackle such problems. With the RL approach, especially for applied subjects such as Embedded Systems, students must be able to innovate so that the learning process encourages them to find real solutions to the faced problems. CRL encourages students to be able to formulate research designs, data collection, practical research, and interpretation of results. CRL engages students in the process and active participation in acquiring reflective knowledge and critical thinking to build their vision. This report presents a preliminary examination of the implementation of CRL in ES to improve students' engagement. The study measure participants’ overview of using project management application in CRL. The study involved 30 students taking the ES. The study finding discovers that the students’ perspective of the CRL approach in ES is suitable during pandemic

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi konsep Pembelajaran Rational-Profetik dalam pendidikan anak usia dini berdasarkan kajian hadis-hadis Nabi Muhammad SAW. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan riset kepustakaan. Artikel ini didasari oleh rumusan masalah: bagaimana hadis-hadis Nabi dapat memberikan panduan pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan rasionalitas dan spiritualitas pada anak usia dini, serta bagaimana implementasinya dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk menjawab permasalahan ini, artikel ini menganalisis hadis-hadis yang relevan dengan pendidikan anak dan mengidentifikasi prinsip-prinsip yang dapat diterapkan dalam konteks pendidikan modern. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Pembelajaran Rational-Profetik adalah pendekatan yang memadukan pengembangan akal dan hati dalam mendidik anak. Dimensi rasionalitas mendorong anak untuk berpikir kritis, memahami sebab-akibat, dan mengembangkan logika melalui kegiatan sehari-hari. Hadis tentang keadilan orang tua dalam pemberian kepada anak-anak, misalnya, mengajarkan nilai-nilai keadilan secara logis. Sementara itu, dimensi spiritualitas bertujuan membentuk karakter anak dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai kasih sayang, akhlak mulia, dan kesadaran terhadap hubungan dengan Allah. Hal ini terlihat dalam hadis tentang kasih sayang kepada anak-anak kecil dan penghormatan kepada orang tua. Jawaban terhadap rumusan masalah tersebut menegaskan bahwa konsep Pembelajaran Rational-Profetik dapat diimplementasikan melalui kegiatan yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai logis dan spiritual, seperti penggunaan cerita Nabi, pembiasaan shalat, dan penanaman nilai moral melalui interaksi keluarga dan lingkungan pendidikan. Dengan pendekatan ini, anak-anak diajak memahami bahwa ilmu pengetahuan dan agama tidak bertentangan tetapi saling melengkapi. Artikel ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam bidang pendidikan anak usia dini, khususnya dalam merumuskan model pembelajaran holistik yang relevan dengan kebutuhan zaman. Dengan menyeimbangkan rasionalitas dan spiritualitas, Pembelajaran Rational-Profetik menawarkan pendekatan yang mendukung terbentuknya generasi yang cerdas secara intelektual, berkarakter mulia, dan berkesadaran spiritual yang kuat.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has an important role to play in shaping the future of software development. AI responds to complex challenges in the information technology industry and expands the scope of future possibilities, which include increased automation, personalization, and security. The research aims to identify the role of AI in education and research from various aspects of software development, and evaluate the resulting implications for information technology as a whole. The research adopted the Systematic Literature Review Method following PRISMA guidelines. A total of 320 articles were collected from Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar and applying predefined criteria, 42 relevant articles were included for analysis. The research findings show that the role and integration of artificial intelligence (AI) has a significant impact in improving efficiency, bringing software innovation in education, learning and research in the future. AI has proven effective in personalizing learning, adapting teaching materials and improving student learning outcomes. AI accelerates the process of analyzing big data, identifying patterns and trends that conventional methods may miss. The implications of the findings suggest that the integration of AI in education and research not only improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the process, but opens up new opportunities for innovation and development of more adaptive and data-driven learning and research methods. The challenges of AI in education and research include data privacy, potential bias in algorithms, and the need for adequate technological infrastructure to support effective and secure implementation, avoid inequality of access, and ensure accurate results.

Abstract

Background of Study: The increasing prevalence of depression among college students highlights the urgent need for effective early detection strategies to promote mental well-being within higher education environments. Aims and Scope of Paper: This study aims to develop a predictive model for student depression using the Naive Bayes classification algorithm, with a focus on identifying key contributing factors from student-related data. Methods: The research utilizes the Student Depression dataset from Kaggle, containing structured survey data on academic stress, sleep duration, financial stress, GPA, and family mental health history. Data preprocessing included feature selection, handling of missing values, and normalization. The dataset was split into training and testing sets at a 75:25 ratio. Model training was conducted using the R programming language with the application of Laplace smoothing. Result: The Naive Bayes model achieved an accuracy of 77.66%, a specificity of 84.21%, and a sensitivity of 68.42%, indicating strong predictive performance, particularly in identifying depressive cases. Financial and academic stress were identified as the most influential factors. Conclusion: Despite its simplicity, the Naive Bayes algorithm proves to be an effective tool for initial screening of students at risk of depression, offering valuable support for educational institutions in delivering timely mental health interventions.

Abstract

This study aims to design a conceptual model of a reward and punishment system based on field data as a reference to improve teacher performance at MTs Ar-Rahmah Bogor. The research employed a qualitative exploratory approach, using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that the implementation of reward and punishment at MTs Ar-Rahmah is still informal, incidental, and lacks structured performance indicators or written procedures. Rewards are given symbolically without clear evaluation criteria, while punishment s are limited to verbal warnings without standard operating procedures or structured coaching programs. Based on a SWOT analysis, the researchers formulated a conceptual model consisting of five key components: teacher performance indicators, regular evaluations, forms of reward, stages of punishment , and documentation and SOPs. This model is expected to serve as a reference for developing a more structured and sustainable teacher performance management system. The study recommends a limited-scale pilot implementation, involving teachers in the formulation of indicators and evaluations, and conducting regular adaptive monitoring.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of satisfaction of students of the Da'wah Management Department of UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung with the implementation of online lectures conducted during the covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses a qualitative approach. The data were collected through questionnaires, interviews and observations on Dakwah Management students in semesters 1, 3 and 5. The collected data was then analyzed through several stages, namely the stages of data reduction, data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate an increase in student satisfaction of the Da'wah Management Department with online lectures in the odd academic year 2021-2022. However, even though there is an increase in satisfaction with online lectures, there are still many students who want face-to-face lectures.
