Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of profitability ratios, liquidity ratios, activity ratios and leverage ratios on the stock prices of agricultural sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2016-2020. The sampling technique in this study is the purposive sampling method. The type of data is quantitative research. The data sources used in the study are secondary data from the IDX website and the official website of related companies. The results show that the return on investment, earnings per share, quick ratio, and total assets turnover positively affect stock prices, while the return on equity, return on assets, current ratio, and debt ratio have a negative effect on stock prices.

Abstract

Goat meat has a hard texture and strong aroma so that the level of public liking is low. Wuluh starfruit and papaya leaves have active substances that can maintain the physical and organoleptic qualities of goat meat. This experiment was designed to determine the effect of soaking time on the combination of wuluh starfruit and papaya leaves on the physical and organoleptic qualities of goat meat. The study was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with 4 treatments (a combination of 40% concentration of wuluh starfruit and papaya leaves solutions with immersion times of 0, 20, 40 and 60 minutes). Each treatment was repeated 5 times. The variables observed included physical quality and organoleptic tests. Data analyzed using the Normality test, normally data using analysis of variance (ANOVA) at a real level 5% and significant differences between treatments were analyzed using Duncan's test. Abnormal data will be analyzed with the Kruskal Walis test. The results showed that soaking time had a significant effect on pH, water holding capacity, cooking loss, color, texture and taste but had no effect on the flavor of goat meat. Soaking time of 60 minutes is effective in lowering the pH value by 39.6%, increasing the water holding capacity by 25%, reducing cooking losses by 29.5%, making the texture of the meat tender and no change in flavor from meat. Soaking for 20 minutes produces a red color and a non sour and non bitter taste

Abstract

Pemenuhan kebutuhan hijauan pakan domba-kambing di Desa Sukosari sangat terbatas disebabkan karena kurangnya lahan untuk merumput, ketersediaan hijauan saat musim kemarau dan masyarakat tidak mempunyai cukup waktu untuk merumput. Berdasarkan wawancara dan observasi peternak domba-kambing di Desa Sukosari belum pernah mendapatkan pengalaman dan edukasi tentang jenis hijauan pakan dan penggunaan mesin pencacah rumput. Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian yaitu meningkat­kan keterampilan peternak domba-kambing dalam penggunaan mesin pencacah sabut kelapa muda, dan meningkatkan nilai ekonomi sabut kelapa muda sebagai hijauan pakan domba-kambing. Metode pengabdian yang dilaksanakan yaitu observasi melalui wawancara dan penyuluhan. Materi kegiatan pengabdian penyuluhan tentang edukasi manajemen pakan domba-kambing, penyuluhan implementasi mesin pen­cacah sabut kelapa muda, dan praktik pelaksanaan penggunaan mesin pencacah sabut kelapa muda oleh peternak domba-kambing. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus – September 2021 yang diikuti oleh peternak sebanyak 23 orang. Profil peternak domba-kambing yaitu sebanyak 82,61% peternak domba-kambing berjenis kelamin laki-laki.. Sebanyak 73,91% peternak hanya mengetahui rumput saja yang dapat diberikan sebagai hijauan pakan domba-kambing. Hasil kegiatan pengabdi­an adalah alat mesin pencacah sabut kelapa muda bagi kelompok peternak domba-kambing, adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang jenis hijauan pakan domba-kambing, pengolahan hijauan pakan, dan peningkatan keterampilan dalam penggu­naan mesin pencacah para peternak domba-kambing di Desa Sukosari. Tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan bertambah sebesar 68,11% tentang manajemen pakan dan penggunaan mesin pencacah sabut kelapa muda untuk pengolahan hijauan pakan.

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the content of bioactive compounds in jengkol peel (Archidendron Jiringa) with different concentrations of ethanol as a potential feed additive for ruminants. The material used in this study was 50g jengkol peel flour in each treatment. The research method used was an experimental trial using a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments used were P1 (100% aquadest), P2 (24% ethanol (75% aquadest + 25% ethanol)), P3 (48% ethanol (50% aquadest + 50% ethanol)), P4 (72% ethanol (25% aquadest + 75% ethanol)), and P5 (96% ethanol (100% ethanol)). The parameters observed in this study were tannin content, saponin, flavonoid, and total phenol. The data obtained were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), then if there were significantly differences, Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) was carried out. The results of the study of jengkol peel extract using ethanol solvents with different concentrations gave significantly different results of tannin and saponin content (P<0.05), while the flavonoid content and total phenol were not significantly different (P>0.05). Based on the research conducted, it is concluded that jengkol peel extract has the potential as a feed additive for ruminants, as evidenced by the results of the tannin content of 8,22% and the saponin content of 13,47% with an ethanol concentration of 48%, but did not affect the flavonoid content and total phenol extracted from jengkol peel (Archidendron jiringa).

Abstract

Sorgum merupakan tanaman potensial untuk dibudayakan dengan media green fodder hydroponic karena efisien dalam menghasilkan produk fotosintesis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan biourine kelinci terhadap produksi sorghum green fodder hydroponic. Bahan yang digunakan yaitu sorgum varietas Bioguma 106 g/nampan, aquades, air, gula merah, EM4, dan urine kelinci. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan yaitu P0 = tanpa biourine kelinci; P1 = biourine kelinci 500 ppm; P2 = biourine kelinci 750 ppm; P3 = biourine kelinci 1000 ppm, dan P4 = biourine kelinci 1250 ppm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan biourine kelinci tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap produksi bahan segar, produksi bahan kering, kandungan bahan organik, dan produksi bahan organik tetapi berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kandungan bahan kering. Penggunaan biourine kelinci 1250 ppm pada sorghum green fodder hydroponic memberikan perlakuan terbaik terhadap kandungan bahan kering.

Abstract

Hutan Pinus Sleker Asri terletak di Desa Gandusari, Kecamatan Bandongan, Magelang. Semenjak Covid-19 melanda, kondisi hutan menjadi tidak sebagus pada saat masih menjadi destinasi wisata. Hutan pinus ini memiliki potensi besar untuk  meningkatkan perekonomian melalui pengelolaan yang baik, terencana, dan konsisten. Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi yaitu belum dimanfaatkannya limbah pinus secara optimal. Sekolah hutan merupakan salah satu program yang dilaksanakan oleh Tim PPK Ormawa UKM Pelita Universitas Tidar. Di dalam program terdapat kegiatan yaitu pemanfaatan dan pengolahan hasil limbah pinus di Hutan Sleker Asri menjadi kerajinan berupa buket dan hiasan dinding. Sasaran kegiatan ini ialah Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Permai Tani dan para remaja perempuan di Desa Gandusari dengan tujuan memberikan edukasi mengenai pengelolaan potensi hutan pinus berbasis ekonomi hijau. Metodologi yang digunakan menggunakan pendekatan PKM Participatory Action Research (PAR). Langkah pelaksanaan kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi: pemetaan awal potensi hasil hutan; koordinasi dengan mitra; merumusakan permasalahan; penentuan agenda program kegiatan sebagai bentuk solusi permasalahan; pengorganisasian mitra atau masyarakat; pelaksanaan program dengan penyampaian pre-test dan post-test berkaitan dengan topik program, serta monitoring dan evaluasi program. Hasil dari program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan masyarakat, dan nilai tambah dalam mengoptimalkan potensi hasil di Kawasan Hutan Pinus Sleker Asri.

Abstract

The "Arrahman" partner is located in Kerten, Krincing Village, Secang District, Magelang manages around 200 to 300 goats. The process of preparing cattle fodder such as elephant grass and corn stalks is done manually using a knife. It causes the feed preparation process take longer considering the large number of goats being managed. The aim of this activity is to contrive and manufacture a chopper to help the process of cutting grass feed more effectively and efficiently. Because it is able to produce more feed capacity in a shorter time with a finer size. Activities are carried out in several stages. The first step is data accumulation and coordination together with partner. Continuing to the next step, the development of solving partner problems through chopper design. The method for measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of cutting cattle fodder is done by quantifying the capacity and quality of cattle fodder produced and quantifying the amount of rising in insight and knowledge of residents which is carried out by looking at before and after the application of the chopper. The primary result is a chopper with a capacity of 100 kg/hour with a 5.5 hp gasoline engine. Chopper parts can be disassembled and assembled, making it easier for partners to maintain and repair. The chopper increases the capacity of cutting animal feed to 100 kg/hour. The activity is able to increase residents' understanding and insight by up to 90%. It is because through design and construction activities, residents are able to understand and gain new insight into the process of making chopper machines.

Abstract

Agricultural waste in the form of carrot leaves (Daucus carota L) has potential as a source of feed for thin-tailed sheep. Fermented processing of carrot leaves aims to increase feed efficiency, make it last longer and can be used within a certain time. This research aims to add information and references for readers regarding the effect of using fermented carrot leaves (Daucus carota L) in rations on the consumption of organic matter (BO), crude protein (PK), and crude fiber (SK) in thin-tailed sheep. This research was carried out for fifty-six days from December 2022 to January 2023 at Kandang Waris Mendho Farm and at the Integrated Laboratory of Tidar University. The design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications, P1: 60% concentrate + 40% pakchong forage, P2: 60% concentrate + 10% fermented carrot leaves + 30% pakchong forage, P3: 60% concentrate % + fermented carrot leaves 20% + pakchong forage 20%, P4: concentrate 60% + fermented carrot leaves 30% + pakchong forage 10%, P5: concentrate 60% + fermented carrot leaves 40%. The research results showed that fermented carrot leaves had no effect on (P>0.05) BO consumption and PK consumption, but had a significant effect on (P<0.05) SK consumption. The highest SK consumption was in P1 with a consumption value of 102.44 ± 7.74 g. It can be concluded that fermented carrot leaves do not interfere with PK and SK consumption levels.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Sapi merupakan ternak ruminansia yang sangat rentan terinfeksi penyakit fasciolosis yang disebabkan oleh cacing Fasciola sp. Kejadian fasciolosis di Kabupaten Temanggung pada tahun 2019 ditemukan sebanyak 105 kasus dari total pemotongan 1.909 ekor sapi. Tujuan dilaksanakan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengkaji kasus fasciolosis pada sapi potong di RPH Temanggung. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode studi kasus instrumental tunggal berupa kasus fasciolosis pada sapi di RPH Temanggung. Variabel pada penelitian ini, yaitu pemeriksaan ante-mortem pada 85 ekor sapi dan post-mortem pada 85 hati sapi. Hasil pemeriksaan ante-mortem dari 85 ekor sapi didapatkan 24 ekor (28,26%) memiliki kondisi rambut kusam, 5 ekor (5,88%) memiliki proporsi tubuh kurus, dan 1 ekor (1,18%) menunjukkan pergerakan tidak respon ketika didekati, dipegang, serta ditarik. Hasil pemeriksaan post-mortem dari 85 hati sapi didapatkan 13 kasus fasciolosis (15,29%), dengan kondisi fisik abnormal yang ditunjukkan pada sapi terinfeksi berupa rambut kusam 12 ekor (92,31%), dan proporsi tubuh kurus 3 ekor (23,08%). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kejadian fasciolosis pada sapi potong di RPH Temanggung masih dalam kategori normal, dengan kondisi fisik abnormal yang ditunjukkan pada sapi terinfeksi sebagian besar memiliki kondisi rambut kusam dan sedikit menunjukkan kondisi tubuh kurus.Kata kunci: Ante-mortem, fasciolosis, post-mortem hati, RPH, sapi potongCase Study of Ante-mortem and Post-mortem Incidence of Fasciolosis in Beef Cattle at Temanggung AbattoirABSTRACT. Cattle are ruminants highly susceptible to fasciolosis caused by the worm Fasciola sp. The incidence of fasciolosis in Temanggung Regency in 2019 was 105 cases from a total of 1.909 cattle slaughtered. This study aimed to identify and assess fasciolosis cases in beef cattle in Temanggung abattoir. This research was conducted using a single instrumental case study method in the form of fasciolosis cases in cattle at Temanggung abattoir. The variables in this study were ante-mortem examination of 85 cattle and post-mortem examination of 85 cattle livers. The results of the ante-mortem examination of 85 cattle showed that 24 cattle (28,26%) had dull hair condition, 5 cattle (5,88%) had thin body proportion, and 1 cattle (1,18%) shows unresponsive movements when approached, held, and pulled. The results of the post-mortem examination of 85 cattle hearts showed 13 fasciolosis cases (15,29%), with abnormal physical conditions shown in infected cattle in the form of dull hair condition of 12 cattle (92,31%), and thin body proportions of 3 cattle (23,08%). It can be concluded that the incidence of fasciolosis in beef cattle in Temanggung abattoir is still within the normal level, with abnormal physical conditions shown in infected cattle mostly having dull hair and few showing thin body conditions.

Abstract

Itik Peking termasuk kedalam salah satu unggas air yang memiliki kemampuan baik dalam menghasilkan daging dengan persentase karkasnya sebesar 63-75%. Kandungan lemak pada daging Itik Peking sebesar antara 16 – 30% perlu diturunkan agar produk daging yang dihasilkan rendah lemak. Penurunan kadar lemak Itik peking dapat dilakukan dengan penambahan bahan pakan dari tanaman obat lokal, salah satunya gulma kirinyuh. Kandungan flavonoid dalam kirinyuh berpotensi untuk menurunkan kadar kolesterol darah. Tujuan ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui potensi kirinyuh dalam menurunkan kadar HDL, LDL, dan trigliserida pada darah Itik Peking. Ekstrak kirinyuh yang diberikan dalam pakan dengan taraf 0%, 1%, 1,5%, 2%, dan 2,5 tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05) untuk memengaruhi LDL, HDL, dan trigliserida darah Itik Peking karena belum tercapainya kadar optimum untuk menurunkan kolesterol dalam darah Itik Peking. Meskipun tidak berbeda nyata, pemberian feed additive ekstrak kirinyuh memiliki potensi untuk menurunkan kadar kolesterol pada ternak apabila tercapai dosis optimum. Senyawa flavonoid sebagai antikolesterol ditambahkan jumlah feed additive yang diberikan dalam pakan ternak
