Abstract

This research aims to determine the marketing communication strategies used to increase occupancy. We used qualitative and descriptive research. The researcher employed a case study as the research method. In-depth interviews provided the techniques for collection. The research results revealed that the public relations division, in collaboration with the hotel marketing team, designed and implemented the marketing communication strategy. Public relations is a communication facilitator, especially in communicating hotel products and services through various marketing strategies. This strategy is divided into three, namely the push strategy, which uses distributors or travel agents to encourage customers to use hotel products; the pull strategy, which uses advertising, sales promotions, personal sales, and direct marketing to attract customer interest in hotel products and services, also the profile strategy, which uses public relations to build the hotel's image and reputation to increase customer trust and sales. This research suggests that further research be carried out in quantitative form to obtain a more detailed understanding of the success of each factor that influences marketing communication strategies, such as push, pull, and profile strategies. Meanwhile, from a practical perspective, conducting a more detailed evaluation of each marketing communication tool used by measuring its effectiveness to select the most effective tools in increasing sales or occupancy is recommended.

Abstract

The scholarship acceptance process at one of the universities in Jakarta is based on several criteria, including the distance from the residence to the campus, active organizations, participating in UKM, GPA, having parents or guardians, parents' or guardians' jobs, income level, number of family dependents, ownership of a residence. In 2020, there were 1000 students who registered with various majors, so the scholarship selection team had difficulty in determining the scholarship acceptance selection quickly and accurately. In addition, subjective selection determinations were still found so that they were not on target and caused errors in determining policies to increase. Recording and determining scholarship acceptance were still done manually, namely via Excel. By entering detailed data on scholarship applicants and then calculating the value of each criterion met by scholarship applicants, this process is very complicated in processing scholarship determination. With this problem, research was carried out with data mining, using a PSO-based decision tree algorithm model with a PSO-based naïve bayes algorithm. By comparing the accuracy results of the two models, the highest accuracy was obtained with the PSO-based decision tree algorithm model. Furthermore, designing a web-based Decision support system for scholarship selection.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data-data empiris dan mengetahui layanan bimbingan kelompok diharapkan dapat meningkatkan komunikasi interpersonal remaja di SMP XYZ. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian eksperimen, desain yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP XYZ dengan jumlah 252 siswa. Dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 10 yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling dari tingkat rendahnya interaksi sosial remaja. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian dibuat indikator variabel Y dan uji validitasnya terdapat 56 item pernyataan yang dinyatakan valid, selain itu juga diuji reliabilitas dengan menggunakan rumus Alfa Cronbach dengan hasil .888. Analisis data menggunakan teknik uji t. Berdasarkan uji t didapatkan hasil sebesar -6.119 dengan taraf signifikan sebesar 0.000 sehingga hipotesis nihil (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternative (Ha) diterima. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik cinema therapy efektif dalam meningkatkan komunikasi interpersonal remaja.

Abstract

Business communication covers all activities related to business activities including correspondence. Correspondence includes those relating to the handling of correspondence, including incoming and outgoing letters. The development of correspondence is currently very rapid, especially in the handling of letters, both incoming and outgoing mail. This happens because they are increasingly aware of the importance of incoming and outgoing letters in activities carried out in government and private offices. Activities will not run and develop properly without having a relationship or communication between each other or with other parties. The purpose of this study was to determine the handling of incoming and outgoing mail, the obstacles faced and how to overcome the obstacles, at the Government Service Office. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis. While the data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. The results showed that the handling of incoming and outgoing letters can be said to be good in accordance with the procedures and the obstacles in handling incoming and outgoing letters are the lack of place or space for important letters and handling of letters is still a little slow, sometimes old letters reach the recipient. concerned, the Head of Service who is sometimes rarely in place so that the signing of the letter becomes late. However, the handling of incoming and outgoing letters at the Government Service Office can be said to be good and in accordance with the procedures set at the Government Service.

Abstract

In the development of technology and resources today, humans are required to be able to compete because of the importance of the role of human resources in every activity of the organization. One aspect that influences achieving high performance in self-age is motivation, because it is condition that moves people to a goal. Formulation of the problem, is there relationship between work motivation and employee performance. The methode use in this study is observation, questionaire and literature study to collect quantitative data of 25 employees and eachrespondent’s answer was measured using a likert scale. This study use formula of validity and reliability, pearson product moment correlation consist of Correlation Coefficient and Determination Coefficient and Regression Equation using SPSS version 21. The results of this study based on the analysis performed,the value of Correlation Coefficient is 0,808 meaning motivation has relationship strong and positive performance of employees at PT ASABRI (persero) Jakarta, while the resultof the co efficient of determinationof 65,2% and the remaining 34,8% influenced by other factors. H acyl Regression Equations amounting to Y = 17,806+1,103 X means that each addition of 1 time motivation will increase performance by 1,103 and vice versa, if motivation decrease once, the performanceis predicted to decrease by 1,103

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 secara nyata mengganggu aktivitas masyarakat mulai dari sepanjang tahun 2020 sampai saat ini sudah hampir dua tahun tanpa ada kepastian kapan berakhirnya. Perlahan tapi pasti menggerus seluruh aspek kehidupan masyarakat termasuk bidang ekonomi. Kondisi ini juga mem-berikan dampak yang besar bagi UMKM di Indonesia. UMKM adalah usaha mikro dan menengah yang merupakan bentuk pertahanan ekonomi yang mampu bertahan di tengah krisis ekonomi. Namun banyak para UMKM yang mengganti produk jualannya agar tetap bertahan di-tengah pandemi Covid-19, namun berganti produk tidak cukup untuk bertahan dalam situasi ini. UMKM harus bertransformasi untuk tetap bisa memnuhi kebutuhan masyarakat. Metode pemasarannya pun harus mengikuti perkembangan teknologi yaitu media sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan sumber data hasil penelitian, referensi dan berita online yang terkait langsung dengan penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasi strategi bertahan untuk UMKM melalui adopsi Platfrom Media Sosial.

Abstract

The period of the Covid-19 pandemic demanded the Government to limit social activities or what is known as PSBB to the public. Including urging the public to postpone visits to the hospital. As a substitute, the Government implemented the telemedicine concept, namely the concept of long-distance treatment so that people could continue to consult their health problems without having to come to the hospital. The research method used is qualitative - descriptive by means of observation and literature study. Then analyzed descriptively by describing the results of the study in the form of a qualitative research report.

Abstract

This study was conducted in 2025 using an associative quantitative approach, data collection methods through observation, questionnaires, documentation, and literature studies. The study population included all employees of Super Indo Puri Depok Mas, with a sample size of 40 respondents using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out with the help of Statistical Package For The Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 26. The results of the study indicate that motivation has a significant partial influence on employee performance, as indicated by the t-test with a calculated t value of 7,617 > t table 2,206. Teamwork is also proven to have a significant partial influence on employee performance, with a calculated t value of 8.523 > t table 2,206 having a significant value (0.000 <0.05). The variables of motivation (X1) and teamwork (X2) together contribute to the employee performance variable (Y) obtained by 81.1% while the remaining 18,9% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. The results of this study can be used as evaluation material and consideration for companies, to improve strategies to strengthen high motivation and build solid teamwork to improve employee performance.

Abstract

Employee performance is not merely a benchmark stipulated by an organization; rather, it constitutes a pivotal determinant that substantially contributes to the attainment of corporate objectives and long-term sustainability. Superior performance illustrates the extent to which employees are capable of executing their designated responsibilities, which subsequently exerts a direct influence on organizational productivity, efficiency, and growth trajectory. Among the multidimensional variables affecting performance, two particularly salient aspects are work discipline and work motivation. Discipline functions as a regulatory mechanism that ensures adherence to established norms, policies, and operational procedures, while motivation operates as an internal drive that fosters persistence, engagement, and consistency in accomplishing tasks. Collectively, these two dimensions are assumed to exert a decisive influence on performance outcomes. The present study endeavors to examine the impact of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance within CV Arga Jaya, located in Depok City. Employing a quantitative research design, this investigation utilizes multiple linear regression analysis facilitated through SPSS version 27. The study encompasses a population comprising employees from both administrative and operational divisions, yielding a total of 43 valid respondents. Data were elicited through the administration of structured questionnaires as the principal instrument. The empirical results reveal that work discipline (X1) and work motivation (X2) simultaneously exert a significant influence on performance (Y), corroborated by an F-count of 6.38 exceeding the F-table value of 3.23 with a significance level of 0.004. Partial analysis indicates that work discipline (X1) has a significant positive impact, with a T-count of 2.377 surpassing the T-table threshold of 2.021. Conversely, work motivation (X2) demonstrates no significant partial effect, as evidenced by a T-count of 1.339 and a significance level of 0.188. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.242 suggests that 24.2% of the variation in performance is explained by these factors, whereas 75.8% is attributable to variables beyond the scope of this study.

Abstract

This study is based on the importance of maintaining a balance between work and personal life, as well as discipline, in supporting employee performance—particularly in the public sector. The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of work-life balance and work discipline on the performance of employees at the Department of Transportation in Depok City. A quantitative approach was used, employing a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 51 respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS 26 software.The results indicate that the work-life balance variable (X1) significantly influences employee performance, as evidenced by a t-value of 3.787 > t-table value of 2.011 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. In contrast, the work discipline variable (X2) does not have a significant partial effect, as shown by a t-value of 0.271 < t-table and a significance level of 0.787 > 0.05. However, simultaneously, both variables significantly influence employee performance, as shown by an F-value of 7.685 > F-table and a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05. The results of the coefficient of determination test show an R Square value of 0.243. This indicates that work-life balance (X1) and work discipline (X2) collectively explain 24.3% of the variation in employee performance (Y), while the remaining 75.7% is influenced by other factors beyond the scope of this study.
