Abstract

Data obtained from WHO 2018, family planning is an action that helps individuals or married couples to obtain certain objectives, avoid unwanted births, get births that are desired, contraceptives around the world mostly use Injectables 35.3%, Pills 30.5%, IUDs 15.2%, Implants 7.3% and other contraceptives 11.7%. The use of hormonal contraceptives causes side effects including changes in menstrual patterns, weight changes. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of using hormonal contraceptives on weight gain and menstrual cycle disorders in family planning acceptors in Lambheu Village, Darul Imarah District, Aceh Besar Regency in 2023. This research method is Descriptive Quantitative with Linear Regression approach with Purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 87 respondents. This research was conducted on June 11 to 14, 2023 in Lambheu Village, Darul Imarah District, Aceh Besar Regency, with univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that there was an effect of the use of contraceptive pills, injections and implants on weight gain with a sig test result of 0.066 and menstrual cycle disorders with a sig test result. 0,057. Conclusion There is an effect of using Hormonal Contraceptives on increasing Body Weight with Linear Regression test Sig value. 0,066 < 0,05. There is an effect of the use of Hormonal Contraceptives on menstrual cycle disorders with a Linear Regression Test Sig value. 0,057 < 0,05.

Abstract

Based on data from BPM Jawiriyah, 114 mothers gave birth from January to June 2023, among them 40 primigravida mothers, the initial survey was conducted there were 7 primiparous mothers who experienced lacerations during childbirth, including 4 mothers who had a birth weight of more than 3500 grams and even 4000 grams, and there were 3 mothers who had a birth weight of 2500 grams. Based on these 7 mothers said that the cause of the laceration they experienced was due to the weight of the baby born and some were due to the wrong way of receiving in the process of labor. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between birth weight and the way of receiving with the incidence of laceration degree in primigravida labor at BPM Jawiriyah, S.ST in 2023. Research Methods, research is analytical using a Cross Sectional approach conducted on June 20-25, 2023 at BPM Jawiriyah, S. ST with a population of 40 laboring mothers. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis with the SPSS statistical program. The results of the statistical test with Chi Square obtained a p value = 0.086 (P>0.05) means that there is no relationship between laceration and baby weight in primigravida labor. While the results of statistical tests with Chi Square obtained a p value = 0.991 (P>0.05) means that there is no relationship between lacerations and how to deliver in primigravida labor. The conclusion is that there is no relationship between laceration and baby weight and how to deliver in primigravida labor

Abstract

The low coverage of exclusive breastfeeding success in infants of 61.1% is caused by various factors such as factors of public knowledge and attitudes towards health, culture and community beliefs such as peucicap, breast milk, education, family support and maternal employment. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors associated with the failure of exclusive breastfeeding in infants aged 0-6 months in the Working Area of the Darul Imarah Health Center, Aceh Besar Regency in 2023. This research method is analytic with a Cross Sectional approach with a Random Sampling technique with a sample size of 83 people. This research was conducted on June 8 to 15, 2023 with univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi square test. The results showed that of the 83 respondents most did not provide exclusive breastfeeding as many as 48 respondents (57.8%), had poor knowledge as many as 33 respondents (39.8%) with a p value of 0.001, there were no breast milk expressing as many as 48 respondents (57.8%) with a p value of 0.002, there were peucicap as many as 48 respondents (57.8%) with a p value of 0.001, did not support as many as 44 respondents (53%) with a p value of 0.007. Conclusions and suggestions there is a relationship between knowledge, breast milk expressing, peucicap and family support with the failure of exclusive breastfeeding. It is hoped that respondents will increase their knowledge and motivation by exploring information about exclusive breastfeeding from various sources such as health workers and books, so that mothers can provide exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

SEZ is a condition caused by an imbalance in nutrient intake between energy and protein, so that the nutrients needed by the body are not fulfilled. The proportion of women of childbearing age at risk of SEZ in Aceh Province aged 15-19 years who were pregnant was 38.5% and those who were not pregnant was 46.6%. The purpose of the study was to determine the Determinants of Chronic Energy Deficiency (SEZ) in Pregnant Women in the Peukan Bada Health Center Working Area, Aceh Besar Regency. This research method is analytic with a Cross Sectional approach with total sampling technique with a sample size of 71 pregnant women. This research was conducted on August 4-21, 2023 with univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between occupation (0.003), knowledge (0.002), attitude (0.002), education (0.004), husband support (0.007), age (0.002), parity (0.002) and anemia (0.001) with SEZ in pregnant women. Conclusions and suggestions there is a relationship between work, knowledge, attitude, education, husband's support, age, parity and anemia with SEZ in pregnant women. It is expected for the research site to hold health counseling about SEZ and the provision of additional food additives (PMT).
