Latar belakang: Baby blues dapat berkembang menjadi gejala depresi mayor, lebih dari 20% ibu yang mengalami baby blues akan berkembang menjadi gejala depresi mayor dalam satu tahun setelah melahirkan. Apabila baby blues tidak ditangani dengan serius, maka akan berkembang menjadi depresi postpartum dan kondisi yang paling berat bisa sampai postpartum psychosis. Tujuan Penelitian: untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan suami dan karakteristik ibu postpartum dengan kejadian baby blues di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Baiturrahman Kota Banda Aceh Tahun 2024. Metode penelitian: bersifat analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional dengan tehnik pengambilan sampel secara Random Sampling dengan jumlah sampel 55 orang. Waktu penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 8 Agustus 2024 dengan analisa univariat dan bivariat dengan uji Chi square.Hasil penelitian: menunjukkan bahwa dari 55 responden sebagian besar tidak mengalami baby blues sebanyak 42 responden (76,4%), mendapat dukungan suami sebanyak 40 responden (72,7%), berusia 20-35 tahun sebanyak 41 responden (74,5%), berpendidikan menengah sebanyak 30 responden (54,5%), multipara sebanyak 38 responden (69,1%), memiliki pendapatan diatas UMP sebanyak 40 responden (72,7%), jenis persalinan normal sebanyak 45 responden (81,8%), dukungan suami dengan p value 0,003, usia dengan p value 0,003, pendidikan dengan p value 0,005, paritas dengan p value 0,003, pendapatan p value 0,003 dan jenis persalinan dengan p value 0,007. Kesimpulan dan saran: ada pengaruh dukungan suami, usia, pendidikan, paritas, pendapatan dan jenis persalinan dengan kejadian baby blues. Diharapkan kepada responden untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan motivasi dengan menggali informasi tentang baby blues dari berbagai sumber seperti dari petugas kesehatan dan buku.Kata Kunci: Dukungan Suami, Karakteristik Ibu Postpartum, Baby BluesBackground: Baby blues can develop into major depressive symptoms, more than 20% of mothers who experience baby blues will develop into major depressive symptoms within one year after giving birth. The time of this research was conducted on August 8, 2024 with univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi square test.The results of the study: showed that out of 55 respondents, most did not experience baby blues as many as 42 respondents (76.4%), received support from their husbands as many as 40 respondents (72.7%), aged 20-35 years as many as 41 respondents (74.5%), had secondary education as many as 30 respondents (54.5%), were multiparous as many as 38 respondents (69.1%), had income above the UMP as many as 40 respondents (72.7%), type of normal delivery as many as 45 respondents (81.8%), husband's support with p value 0.003, age with p value 0.003, education with p value 0.005, parity with p value 0.003, income p value 0.003 and type of delivery with p value 0.007. Conclusion and suggestions: there is an influence of husband's support, age, education, parity, income and type of delivery on the occurrence of baby blues. Respondents are expected to increase their knowledge and motivation by exploring information about baby blues from various sources such as from health workers and books.Keywords: Husband support, Characteristics of Postpartum Mothers, baby blues
