Abstract

Management of education is a major resource for the advancement of a nation, for that education needs to be built and developed to be capable in producing superior human resources, advanced and competitive. The function of education is strategically most important for a nation, especially the people who carry out development should optimalize education system functions to deliver the human resources of high quality as the organizer of development and in order to improve the quality of life of the community, the nation and the state. Management of headmaster in improving the quality of education in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sibolga must strive to increase the quality of education, including the quality of the performance and management of headmaster, deputy, teachers and committee of Madrasah to provide and support to all stakeholders of education in madrasah as a systematically, integratedly, well-planned and professionally. In order to achieve an effective and efficient organization, management must be enabled fully to every organization including education. The management functions as planning  organizing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract

The collective trauma experienced by the community after natural disasters in Indonesia has a profound psychological impact. This research aims to explore the role of religion in the collective trauma recovery process. This study uses a literature study. This method was used to analyze literature related to the function of religion as a source of emotional, spiritual, and social support in dealing with trauma. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively by using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that religion has a significant role in post-disaster recovery through three main aspects. First, religion provides meaning and hope through spiritual beliefs, which helps individuals and communities overcome feelings of loss and uncertainty. Second, religious rituals, such as joint prayers and meaning ceremonies, are a means to strengthen community solidarity and create a safe space to express emotions. Third, religious institutions play a role in providing material assistance, spiritual counseling, and mobilizing volunteers to support the physical and mental recovery of victims. The study concludes that religion not only serves as a source of spiritual strength, but also as an effective social tool in reducing the impact of collective trauma

Abstract

Islamic education in the digital era faces challenges as well as significant opportunities in presenting Islamic values to the younger generation. This literature study method aims to analyze the influence of digital technology developments on Islamic education, especially in the aspects of curriculum, learning methods, and media used. Digital literacy is the main skill that educators must have to effectively integrate technology into the learning process. Platforms such as Islamic-based learning apps, e-learning, and social media have become potential tools in conveying religious teachings in an engaging and interactive manner. Threats in the form of access to negative content, lack of information filters, and potential deviations in moral values are also a concern. This research finds the importance of the role of teachers, parents, and educational institutions in ensuring that technology is used wisely to support the strengthening of Islamic character and moral character. Proper use of digital resources, Islamic education can remain relevant and adaptive to the needs of the times without overriding the essence of religious values. This article emphasizes the need for synergy between technology and spiritual approaches in shaping a generation of intelligent, faithful, and noble Muslims.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji sistem evaluasi dalam pendidikan Islam dan peran lingkungan pendidikan dalam implementasinya. Fokus utama penelitian adalah menganalisis berbagai metode evaluasi yang diterapkan dalam pendidikan Islam serta mengidentifikasi pengaruh lingkungan pendidikan terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran. Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur, penelitian ini menganalisis sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder terkait evaluasi pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi dalam pendidikan Islam bersifat komprehensif, mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, dengan penekanan khusus pada pengembangan akhlak. Penelitian juga mengungkapkan bahwa lingkungan pendidikan, yang terdiri dari keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat, memiliki peran vital dalam menunjang keberhasilan pendidikan Islam. Kesimpulannya, sistem evaluasi pendidikan Islam perlu mengintegrasikan berbagai metode penilaian sambil mempertimbangkan pengaruh lingkungan pendidikan untuk mencapai hasil optimal. This research examines the evaluation system in Islamic education and the role of educational environment in its implementation. The main focus is analyzing various evaluation methods applied in Islamic education and identifying the influence of educational environments on learning effectiveness. Using qualitative research methods with a literature study approach, this research analyzes primary and secondary sources related to Islamic education evaluation. The results show that evaluation in Islamic education is comprehensive, covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, with special emphasis on moral development. The research also reveals that educational environments, consisting of family, school, and community, play vital roles in supporting the success of Islamic education. In conclusion, the Islamic education evaluation system needs to integrate various assessment methods while considering the influence of educational environments to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

Islamic education plays a strategic role in shaping a generation that is faithful, knowledgeable, and of noble character. Islamic values serve as an essential foundation in building a harmonious and just society, while also contributing to global civilization. However, Islamic educational institutions, such as pesantren (Islamic boarding schools), madrasas, and Islamic universities, face global challenges including technological advancements, globalization, and socio-cultural changes. Therefore, continuous innovation and development are needed to maintain the relevance and competitiveness of Islamic education. This paper uses a literature study method to analyze the concept of developing Islamic educational institutions, the challenges faced, and effective strategies for their development. The discussion results show that the development of Islamic educational institutions requires a holistic approach, including improving the quality of human resources, curriculum innovation that integrates religious knowledge and modern science, the use of technology, and collaboration with various parties. With these steps, Islamic education is expected to produce individuals who are spiritually, intellectually, and morally superior, and to become institutions that are relevant and contribute to building a civilization based on Islamic values.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui konsep evaluasi dalam pendidikan Islam, bentuk dan metode evaluasi yang dapat diterapkan dalam pendidikan Islam dan untuk mengetahui peran evaluasi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan fokus pada studi lapangan dimana data diperoleh dari berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah dan laporan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi dalam pendidikan Islam merupakan proses sistematis untuk menilai kemampuan, pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan peserta didik secara menyeluruh. Evaluasi ini tidak hanya menekankan aspek akademik, tetapi juga aspek moral, spiritual, dan sosial, sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan Islam. Konsep evaluasi Islam bersifat holistik, mencakup aspek kognitif (pengetahuan), afektif (sikap dan karakter), dan psikomotorik (keterampilan praktis). Evaluasi harus dilakukan secara adil, objektif, dan mendidik, sehingga peserta didik dapat berkembang secara optimal. Bentuk dan metode evaluasi dalam pendidikan Islam beragam, antara lain tes tertulis, penugasan/proyek, observasi, portofolio, tes lisan, serta metode evaluasi diri dan teman sebaya. Metode ini dapat digunakan secara berimbang agar seluruh aspek perkembangan peserta didik terpantau dan terukur. Peran evaluasi sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Evaluasi berfungsi sebagai alat ukur keberhasilan belajar, sarana perbaikan proses pembelajaran, pengembangan karakter peserta didik, motivasi belajar, dan alat pengambilan keputusan dalam pendidikan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui arti metode pendidikan Islam, menguraikan dasar metode pendidikan Islam dan menjelaskan macam-macam metode pembelajaran yang sering digunakan dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan fokus pada studi lapangan dimana data diperoleh dari berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah dan laporan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode memiliki kedudukan yang sangat fundamental dalam upaya mencapai tujuan Pendidikan Islam (PI). Metode, yang secara etimologis berarti jalan atau cara (thariqah), adalah langkah-langkah strategis yang harus dilalui agar sampai kepada tujuan pendidikan. Dasar metode dalam Pendidikan Islam bersumber langsung dari Al- Qur’an dan Al-Hadits. Prinsip utamanya termuat dalam firman Allah SWT di Q.S. An-Nahl (16): 125, yang memerintahkan pendidik untuk menggunakan Hikmah, Al-Mau’izah Al-hasanah (Nasihat yang Baik), dan Jadil hum bi al-lati hiya ahsan (Bantahan dengan Cara yang Lebih Baik). Macam-macam metode pembelajaran dalam Pendidikan Islam tidak terbatas pada teknik umum, tetapi juga mencakup metode khusus yang berakar pada Al-Qur'an dan Sunnah untuk membentuk karakter Muslim yang utuh. Metode- metode kunci tersebut meliputi metode Hiwar (Dialog) dan metode Amtsal (Perumpamaan)

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis konsep peserta didik dalam pendidikan Islam, yang mencakup pengertian, kedudukan, serta perspektif Al-Qur'an. Peserta didik didefinisikan sebagai subjek aktif dengan fitrah suci (potensi bawaan) yang dikembangkan untuk menjadi insan kamil. Mereka memiliki kedudukan dualistik sebagai subjek sekaligus objek, yang diistilahkan sebagai mutarabbi, muta’allim, dan muta’addib. Berdasarkan perspektif Al-Qur'an, surah An-Nahl: 78 menjelaskan pengembangan potensi sejak lahir melalui panca indra dan hati. Sementara itu, surah An-Nisa: 170 menekankan universalitas peserta didik bagi seluruh manusia, dan surah Asy-Syura: 214 menegaskan pembinaan awal dimulai dari lingkup keluarga. Makalah ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan pendidikan Islam ditentukan oleh optimalisasi fitrah dan pembentukan adab peserta didik.
