Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in Eastern Indonesia are threatened with bankruptcy during the COVID-19 pandemic. This situation occurred due to significantly decreased people’s purchasing power, and most production activities stopped. In light of this issue, this study aims to investigate how well MSMEs’ adaptability and innovation speed in Eastern Indonesia have increased their sales during the pandemic. We collected the data by distributing questionnaires on offline and online channels using Google Forms to MSMEs owners in Maluku and North Maluku Provinces. We eventually gathered 262 pieces of data and analyzed it through the PLS-SEM approach. The results showed that adaptability has a positive and significant effect on sales and the speed of innovation, while innovative speed has no impact on sales. In other words, the innovation speed can also not mediate adaptability to MSMEs sales. The results of this study are expected to benefit MSMEs owners in implementing appropriate business strategies, especially how MSMEs owners have the adaptability and innovation speed to manage their business in this condition of uncertainty. Additionally, this research is expected to provide an empirical contribution to the government of Indonesia in making considerations, policies, and decision-making related to the empowerment of MSMEs during the pandemic and beyond.

Abstract

Kecamatan Malifut merupakan salah satu kecamatan di lingkar tambang PT. NHM Kabupaten Halmahera Utara. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada masyarakat desa dan pelaku usaha mikro untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat desa: melalui penguatan kapasitas sumberdaya manusia dan inoivasi produk lokal lingkar tambang PT. NHM. Kecamatan Malifut memiliki berbagai sumber daya potensial yang memadai, berupa potensi sumber daya alam dan budaya, potensi sumberdaya manusia sebagai pengelola, serta potensi wisatanya. Kegiatan pelatihan terdiri dari pemberian materi, diskusi. Pelatihan telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 22 Agustus 2023 dan dihadiri oleh 38 orang peserta dan dibuka secara resmi oleh camat Malifut. Kegitan pelatihan ini sangat penting bagi masyarakat atau pemilik usaha mikro, karena dengan adanya inovasi produk mampu menambah nilai tambah suatu produk sehingga mampu meningkatkan pendapatan yang diperoleh. Perubahan yang terjadi setelah kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat mulai tergerak untuk melakukan inovasi produk lokal sebagai usaha untuk peningkatan pendapatan. Program-program CSR yang dilakukan melalui PPM dan HRP berdampak terhadap kesejahteraan atau peningkatan kehidupan masyarakat lingkar tambang diantaranya dari segi pendapatan, pendidikan, dan kesehatan yang lebih baik. Faktor penghambat terlaksananya program CSR dengan baik ke masyarakat lingkar tambang adalah personel CSR Desa yang belum maksimal, pemerataan program hingga ke desa-desa yang jauh lokasinya, kurangnya sosialisasi tentang program CSR, realisasi program atau kegiatan yang tersendat atau tertunda, perencanaan program yang kurang matang, dan kurangnya melibatkan para ahli dalam merumuskan dan pelaksanaan program CSR. Selain inovasi produk, faktor yang tidak kalah penting dalam kegiatan PKM adalah penguatan kapasitas SDM dalam mendukung aktivitas masyarakat di kecamatan Malifut. Inovasi produk pangan lokal (makanan dan minuman) saat ini penting untuk dikembangkan karena industri makanan dan minuman merupakan industri yang sangan dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat lingkar tambang NHM. Untuk itu perlu ada pengembangan inovasi produk makanan dan minuman yang diproduksi oleh masyarakat.

Abstract

This study analyzes PT NHM's CSR performance and the factors that support its implementation for the welfare of mining communities. CSR programs, including PPM and HRP, have a positive impact by improving income, education, health, housing, environment, and socio-cultural aspects. PT NHM's CSR performance is measured by the achievement of the PPM program in 2021, reaching 127% of the planning target, indicating satisfactory performance. Success factors for CSR programs include supportive company policies, good relationships with stakeholders, effective CSR performance, and improvement of CSR programs. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with data collection through interviews with 25 selected informants. In order to improve the welfare of the community around the mine, PT NHM has implemented a CSR program that focuses on providing benefits that are directly felt by the community, especially through the philanthropic HRP program. This proves the company's commitment in supporting the development and welfare of the local community. In conclusion, PT NHM's CSR performance is very positive, supported by the factors mentioned, and has the potential to have a sustainable positive impact on the communities around the mine.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh team work terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui work engagement sebagai variabel mediasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan pegawai Dinas Sosial Kota Ternate sebanyak 76 pegawai dan juga dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian. Data yang digunakan bersumber dari penyebaran kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) sebagai alat uji statistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan team work berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, work engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, team work berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap work engagement, work engagement mampu memediasi pengaruh team work terhadap kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to identify and analyze the quality of health services in North Maluku Province, the level of community satisfaction with these services, and the role of the government in encouraging efforts to improve health services.Methodology: The data was analyzed using descriptive and qualitative statistical analysis frameworks. Descriptive statistics analyze variables presented in frequency distributions, both in absolute numbers and percentages.Results: The research results show that there are still various aspects of government health services that require improvement, such as administrative problems, medical personnel, equipment, and supporting facilities. Public complaints include medical costs not commensurate with services, a less clean and comfortable environment, and service delays due to a lack of medical personnel. Conclusions: Public satisfaction with government-provided health services still faces various shortcomings that need to be continuously improved, including administrative issues, workforce, equipment, and other supporting facilities. Therefore, the government needs to allocate a budget for health subsidies.Limitations: Factors such as demographic differences and economic conditions have not been explored, nor have service provider perspectives that could provide insight into internal constraints. This limitation must be considered in further research with more diverse methods and data.Contribution: These findings can be a basis for policymakers in designing strategies for improving health services, including more appropriate budget allocation and improved procedures. This research also opens opportunities to explore demographic factors and service provider perspectives to enrich understanding of challenges and solutions in the health system.

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) are a basic factor in organizational achievement. If an organization has outstanding human resources, it is likely that an organization will become more advanced and develop. Employees must have support and high work commitment. so that it can create performance both individually and within the organization. The research carried out at PT. Telkom, Ternate city amounted to 151 people. by taking the entire population using primary data obtained from questionnaires. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis processed by the SPSS 16 program, while hypothesis testing uses statistical tests. then test the data by testing validity, reliability and classical assumptions. the classical assumption test includes the normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. The statistical test results for the organizational support variable have a regression coefficient value of 0.053 which is positive and has a t-count value of 7.541 t table 1.655, and a significance value of 0.000 - 0.05. results obtained from the T test. For the organizational commitment variable, the calculated t value is 2.695 and the t value for the 5% distribution table is 1.655. So it can be concluded that t count t table (2,6951,655). The significance value is 0.008 - 0.05. The results of the F test carried out by researchers show that the calculated F value of F table is (15,650 3.06) with a significance value (sig) smaller than 0.05 (0.000 0.05). (H1) organizational support has a positive effect on employee performance in PT. Telkom Ternate City. (H2) organizational commitment has a positive effect on employee performance at PT. Telkom Ternate City. (H3) organizational support and organizational commitment have a positive effect on employee performance at PT. Telkom Ternate City.

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) are assets that are very necessary for every organization in its efforts to achieve its goals. HR plays an important role in various organizational activities. Job satisfaction, which includes employee attitudes towards work, involves factors such as the work situation, cooperation between co-workers, acceptance of work challenges, and consideration of physical and psychological aspects. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of compensation and job satisfaction on the performance of Waste Transporters at the Environmental Service. This research uses quantitative research methods using primary and secondary data. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Primary data was collected through questionnaires and interviews conducted with 102 research respondents. Secondary data sources include information from journals, books, and data obtained from the Ternate City Environmental Service. The research timeline starts from July 2023 to September 2023. The test results show that the job satisfaction variable has a negative and significant effect on labor performance. This suggests that addressing and increasing job satisfaction may be important for improving overall labor performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACTObjective: The purpose of the study is to discover and analyse the relationship between compensation and employee emotional weariness on employee job satisfaction at South Halmahera Regency Bank. The study's population consisted of bank personnel from South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province, including Muamalat Bank, BRI, BSI, Mandiri Bank, Maluku Bank, BNI, and Saruma Bank. The banking sector has a total of 86 employees.Methodology: The design of this research is to use a survey method, because the research approach is quantitative. To investigate the influence of the independent and dependent variables, multiple regression is employed with the statistical package for social scientists (SPSS) tool. Findings: Compensation for job satisfaction results show t count - t table 1.664 and sig. 0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected; emotional exhaustion on satisfaction results show that t count t table 1.664, and the significant value 0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.Conclusion: Remuneration has a negative and large impact on job satisfaction among South Halmahera Regency Bank employees. Emotional exhaustion has a negative and significant effect on the job satisfaction of South Halmahera district bank employees, which means that if employees are emotionally exhausted, their job satisfaction decreases, and if they are not emotionally exhausted, their job satisfaction rises.

Abstract

ABSTRACTObjective: This research aims to determine the influence of product quality and price on purchasing decisions mediated by word of mouth in the case of the Puta Dino Tidore weaving house.The sample size for this research was 49 employees at the Environmental Service (DLH) of Merauke District, South Papua Province.Methodology:  The analysis test tool uses SEM-Smart-PLS.Findings: Partial hypotheses and simultaneous and partial hypotheses are accepted, because the alpha value is smaller than 5%.Conclusion: The results of this research show that: (1) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; (2) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on work motivation; (3) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on work discipline; (4) work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; (5) work discipline has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance; (6) positive and significant work motivation as a mediating relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance; (7) work discipline is positive and not significant as a relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance.

For the organizational commitment variable, the calculated t value is 2.695 and the t value for the 5% distribution table is 1.655. So it can be concluded that t count t table (2,6951,655). The significance value is 0.008 - 0.05. The results of the F test carried out by researchers show that the calculated F value of F table is (15,650 3.06) with a significance value (sig) smaller than 0.05 (0.000 0.05). (H1) organizational support has a positive effect on employee performance in PT. Telkom Ternate City. (H2) organizational commitment has a positive effect on employee performance at PT. Telkom Ternate City. (H3) organizational support and organizational commitment have a positive effect on employee performance at PT. Telkom Ternate City.
