Abstract

The target of quality service for Persada Hospital outpatient pharmacy has been achieved in which the average time spent on waiting for the non-compounded drug is 11 minutes and for the compounded drug is 25 minutes. That achievement has not been able to alter the perceived length of the drug waiting time at the outpatient pharmacy evidenced by the number of losses resulting from unattended prescriptions due to the long wait. This study is aimed to find out and analyze the main factors leading to the perceived length of drug waiting time at the outpatient pharmacy and come up with alternative solutions thereto. The employed method in this study is descriptive qualitative research comprising the observation, interview and the collection of secondary data. The researchers conducted an observation on the process and flow of the prescription service of the outpatient pharmacy and proceeded to the focus group discussion to discover the main problems using Fish Bone Diagram.  The uncertain length of the wait time was found to be the major cause. To resolve the issue of the uncertainty of the waiting time, the Time Motion Study was conducted on the service response time as a follow up by providing the estimated waiting duration guide (information)  for the outpatient pharmacy. This guide comprises 3 categories of the service waiting time of 10-15 minutes, 25-45 minutes, and 25-60 minutes.

Abstract

Vacant land that is not utilized has the potential to become critical land which can result in landslides, floods, decreased production functions, which can have an impact on the socio-economic impact of local communities. Members of the Jembaran Forest Farmers Group, Notog Village, have the initiative to cultivate Tetragonula biroi, but most of the members do not understand the mechanisms of bee cultivation, especially the availability of flowering vegetation that produces nectar and pollen as a food source and produces resin as a building material for nests. Based on these problems, this community service activity aims to introduce types of flowering vegetation which play a role in supporting the cultivation of T. biroi which can also increase land productivity, as well as mitigate critical land. This vegetation includes Dombeya sp and Xanthostemon sp, both of which are flowering vegetation and can play a role in increasing land productivity, increasing water penetration into the soil, so as to prevent flooding. This service activity method is carried out in three stages, namely 1). Socialization and discussion about the types of flowering vegetation that support the cultivation of T. biroi, 2). Practice planting vegetation as a demonstration plot which is carried out directly, 3) monitoring and evaluation to determine the level of change in participants' mindset with indicators of increasing the amount of flowering vegetation which also acts as a means of mitigating flood disasters and decreasing soil fertility. The results of the activity showed an increase in the participants' knowledge and understanding of the material presented

Abstract

Maternal and newborn health is a key indicator of societal well-being. Mothers’ awareness of the importance of antenatal care at obstetrics and gynecology (ob-gyn) services plays a crucial role in ensuring maternal health during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Such awareness indirectly contributes to increased patient visits. This study aims to analyze the causes of the low number of outpatient visits to the ob-gyn clinic, which may serve as a basis for future hospital strategies. A qualitative case study approach was employed, utilizing unstructured interviews and brainstorming sessions for data collection. Root cause analysis was conducted using a fishbone (Ishikawa) diagram, followed by literature review and further discussions to develop potential solutions. The findings reveal that the decline in outpatient visits to the ob-gyn clinic at a private hospital is attributed to the absence of a structured marketing plan and the suboptimal promotion of ob-gyn priority services on social media. The hospital’s strategies to increase clinic visits include regularly promoting hospital facilities, ensuring accessible information about available services, highlighting ob-gyn priority services, and establishing partnerships with primary healthcare facilities. Promoting ob-gyn priority services through social media and within the hospital environment is expected to increase patient visits, ultimately contributing to the hospital’s revenue growth.

Abstract

Abstract: Sungai Bawang Cultural Village organizes weekly Dayak Kenyah Tribe traditional dance performances. Many people, especially in East Kalimantan, only know the Pampang Cultural Village. Therefore, social media videos based on folklore must be optimized for promotional purposes. By altering and uploading videos to social media, the community, particularly members of the Pokdarwis of Sungai Bawang Cultural Village, have the capacity to promote their cultural performances independently. Thus, many people are able to learn about the Sungai Bawang Tourism Village performances. Experiments, lectures, discussions, and demonstrations are the methods applied. The method is carried out in three stages: (1) Downloading the Filmora application, (2) Providing an introduction to the section allocated for the Filmora application, and (3) Creating videos using Filmora. Sungai Bawang Cultural Village community members and Pokdarwis grew an interest in the project and successfully completed the video editing procedure through the use of the Filmora Application. This process also increases public consciousness regarding the significance of social media in promoting the performance video of Sungai Bawang Cultural Village to a broad audience.
