Abstract

There are contradictions in the science of Quranic interpretation in Islamic studies. In Indonesia, Adian Husaini opposes Hermeneutics in absolute terms, while M. Qurais Shihab argues that Hermeneutics can be used in interpreting the Qur'an. In Egypt, Hassan Hanafi considers hermeneutics to be applicable in religious texts, while Muhammad Imarah opposes it. Therefore, the hermeneutic approach in Islamic studies needs to be studied to expand knowledge and understanding of the text. This article discusses the definition, characteristics, principles, and role of Hermeneutics in Islamic studies through library research method. Hermeneutics is the interpretation of classical texts developed in various fields. International figures have emerged in Hermeneutics. In the Islamic context, hermeneutics can help interpret difficult-to-understand Quranic verses. With previous developments and evaluations, it is recommended to use Hermeneutics in the future to analyze modern-day texts in books, manuscripts, and news.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya guru dalam meningkatkan membaca al-Qur’an dengan metode qira’ati pada siswa serta mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat upaya guru dalam meningkatkan membaca al-Qur’an dengan metode qira’ati pada siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) Cahaya Insani yang berada di Jalan Dewi Sartika 5C Kowangan, Desa Ketosari RT 2 RW 1, Kecamatan Temanggung, Kabupaten Temanggung.Data diperoleh dengan metode observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara, sedangkan subyek penelitian adalah guru yang mengajarkan membaca al-Qur’an dengan metode qira’ati. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data, setelah data terkumpul, data tersebut direduksi atau dipilih data-data yang penting, kemudian data disajikan dan diambil kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, 1) Upaya guru dalam meningkatkan membaca al-Qur’an dengan metode qira’ati pada siswa SDIT Cahaya Insani Temanggung Jawa Tengah adalah dengan memberikan contoh cara membaca al-Qur’an dengan jelas dan tartil, menerapkan deres (membaca al-Qur’an) secara individu, menyimak bacaan siswa secara individu, memberikan motivasi untuk lebih meningkatkan/ rajin membaca al-Qur’an, menggunakan sitem pra kitab, tidak monoton dalam pembelajaran dan melakukan pembinaan untuk para guru. 2) Faktor pendukung upaya guru dalam meningkatkan membaca al-Qur’an dengan metode qira’ati pada siswa SDIT Cahaya Insani Temanggung Jawa Tengah adalah guru dekat dengan siswa, mengenal karakter siswa, dekat dengan wali murid, tersedianya sarana dan prasarana qira’ati serta adanya peran dari semua pihak. Sedangkan faktor penghambat upaya guru dalam meningkatkan membaca al-Qur’an dengan metode qira’ati pada siswa SDIT Cahaya Insani Temanggung Jawa Tengah adalah siswa tidak mengulang kembali materi yang sudah diajarkan di sekolah dan berkurangnya pertemuan tatap muka. Kata Kunci: Upaya Guru, Membaca Al-Qur’an, Metode Qiro’ati.

Abstract

Bimbingan konseling merupakan sebuah upaya yang dierikan konselor untuk memfasilitasi atau membantu konseli atau individu agar mampu mengembangkan potensi, memahami diri sendiri dan lingkungannya. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah; pertama, untuk mengetahui Bagaimana karakter peserta didik. Permasalahan apa yang di hadapi oleh peserta didik Madrasah Aliyah Ibnul Qoyyim Putri Yogyakarta. Kedua, bagaimana penanganan masalah yang dilakukan serta bagaimana perkembangan permasalahan tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara, mengumpulkan data, mengelompokkan data, menganalisis data, dan menginterpretasikan data yang akan disimpulkan menjadi hasil penelitian. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah; 1. Observasi, dilakukan dengan cara mengamati keadaan lingkungan sekolah dan keberadaan sekolah 2. Wawancara, dilakukan terhadap peserta didik yang menjadi klien dan 3. Dokumentasi, dilakukan dengan cara melihat data peserta didik yang menjadi klien. Hasil penelitian ini adalah, analisis kenakalan peserta didik tergolong baik. Hal tersebut dapat ditinjau dari keseharian peserta didik selama berada di lingkungan pondok pesantren tidak pernah mendapatkan sanksi

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the democratic leadership transformation efforts made by Kyai in increasing the existence of the Ibnul Qoyyim Putri Islamic boarding school in Berbah, Sleman Yogyakarta. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, allowing the researcher to explore the context and dynamics of democratic leadership at Ibnul Qoyyim Putri Islamic Boarding School. The research subjects include the chief of the Islamic boarding school (Kyai), the head of the madrasah, teachers, educational staff, employees, students, and parents of students. Data collection techniques involve interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis is conducted through several steps: data transcription, coding, thematic analysis, and interpretation. To ensure data validity, the researcher will use data triangulation by comparing information from various sources and methods and perform member checking by providing preliminary results to several respondents for confirmation and feedback. The findings indicate that transformation of the democratic leadership of the Kyai in maintaining the existence of the Ibnul Qoyyim Putri Islamic boarding school in Berbah, Sleman, Yogyakarta brings significant benefits to the existence and development of the boarding school. This democratic leadership is characterized by a deliberative system, where the Kyai shares decision-making responsibilities with staff and employees, delegates authority, and facilitates reciprocal communication. Although Kyai is not directly involved in daily operations, the provided guidance and periodic control demonstrate a collaborative and trusting attitude. This leadership style promotes active participation in decision-making and has positive impacts, including increased engagement and motivation, character development, and community strengthening.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the planning and implementation of the curriculum at the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Studies (LSIA) as a response to the needs of students who are oriented towards studying in the Middle East. The approach used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the LSIA curriculum is designed holistically, adaptively, and participatory, involving various stakeholders. The design is based on three main pillars: philosophical-religious values, adolescent development psychology, and international academic standards. The implementation of the curriculum reflects the integration of classical and digital learning media, as well as contextual methods such as talaqqi, muhadatsah, and khitobah. Evaluation is carried out periodically and incidentally to ensure dynamics and relevance. The learning strategy is individual, with initial mapping, remedial classes and acceleration. Hidden curriculum such as tahfiz, ruhiyah bina malam, and social activities contribute to the formation of Islamic character. In addition to being a pedagogical tool, the curriculum is used as a strategy to build the image and reputation of the institution. LSIA utilizes social media, alumni networks, and national and international forums to strengthen branding as a valuable, locally relevant, and globally competitive Islamic educational institution. This study fills the gap in studies that link curriculum management and institutional communication strategies, and offers a practical model of curriculum management as an academic instrument as well as branding of institutions based on Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationships among teacher collaboration, the work environment, and job comfort. A quantitative research approach was employed, using a saturated sampling technique in which the entire population served as the research sample, given its relatively small size. The participants of this study were 30 teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Sagalaherang, Subang City. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire designed to measure the levels of teacher collaboration, work environment conditions, and job comfort. The collected data were analysed using multiple linear regression in SPSS version 27. The analysis indicates that teacher collaboration has a significant positive effect on job comfort, suggesting that effective cooperation, communication, and teamwork among teachers contribute to a more comfortable work environment. In addition, the work environment was found to be significantly related to job comfort, suggesting that physical, social, and psychological working conditions play an important role in supporting teachers’ well being. Simultaneously, teacher collaboration and the work environment were proven to have a significant combined effect on job comfort. These findings highlight the importance of fostering collaborative practices and creating a supportive work environment to enhance teachers’ job comfort and overall performance in educational institutions.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam terpadu merupakan respons terhadap kebutuhan integrasi antara penguatan karakter keislaman dan kompetensi vokasional di lembaga pendidikan menengah kejuruan. Dalam konteks manajemen pendidikan Islam, integrasi tersebut menuntut sistem pengelolaan yang mampu menyelaraskan visi keislaman dengan standar mutu pendidikan nasional dan tuntutan dunia industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi manajemen pendidikan Islam terpadu, mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya, serta mengkaji dampaknya terhadap prestasi akademik, kejuruan, dan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah dan wakil manajemen, observasi terhadap proses pembelajaran dan budaya sekolah, serta analisis dokumentasi terkait kurikulum, program kerja, dan evaluasi pendidikan. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan teknik triangulasi untuk menjamin keabsahan temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pendidikan Islam terpadu dilaksanakan secara sistematis melalui perencanaan berbasis visi nilai, integrasi kurikulum kejuruan dan keislaman, supervisi berkelanjutan, serta evaluasi berkala. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi keselarasan visi lembaga, kompetensi guru, budaya religius sekolah, dan dukungan orang tua, sedangkan hambatan utama berupa keterbatasan waktu dan heterogenitas latar belakang siswa. Implementasi manajemen tersebut berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan prestasi akademik dan kejuruan, penguatan prestasi non-akademik, serta pembentukan karakter dan kedisiplinan siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pengelolaan pendidikan Islam terpadu secara konsisten mampu menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten, berintegritas, dan berdaya saing.
