Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to determine the effect of economic growth on poverty directly and indirectly through income distribution. This study uses secondary data of time series data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of Maluku Province, the year that was the sample in this study between 2005 - 2017. The data analysis model used is path analysis, the analysis method used is descriptive analysis followed by classical assumption tests. and goodness of fit, the analysis tools used by the Eviews and IBM Amos. Hypothesis testing uses multiple regression path analysis techniques. The results of the research and discussion show that there is no influence between economic growth on income distribution, on the contrary, there is an influence between employment opportunities and income distribution. So even though there is economic growth, it does not have an impact on income distribution. Furthermore, it turns out that there is no influence between economic growth on poverty. So the economic growth that occurs does not have an impact on reducing poverty. Conversely, there is an influence between employment opportunities and poverty, which means that changes in employment opportunities will affect the level of poverty. The lack of effect on economic growth and employment opportunities through income distribution on poverty proves that in Maluku poverty indicates that poverty in Maluku is more relative poverty. Poverty that is created is not caused by economic growth and employment opportunities that affect income and consequently creates poverty, but rather due to limited access to various public facilities due to the condition of Maluku which is more dominated by the sea.

Abstract

Ecotourism is tourism development that prioritizes the sustainability of tourist objects in a sustainable manner that arises as a response to natural conditions that experience over-exploitation and are uncontrollable which cause damage to tourist objects that threaten their sustainability. Ecotourism is a form of tourism that takes place at tourist objects without damaging or disturbing the sustainability of these tourism objects. Semenanjung Nusaniwe is in Nusaniwe District in Ambon City, has more than 22 tourist objects that have been developed but have not been touched by development. Such conditions require analysis that will guide future developments. This writing is based on the results of research on 225 respondents to visitors to tourist attractions, as well as people who live around tourist attractions. The analysis used is the pattern of estimating the economic value of ecotourism based on the travel cost method (TCM). The determination of the socio-economic factors that affect the cost of travel to the Nusaniwe Peninsula area is tested using the Linear Regression Method. The results of the study show that many tourist objects in Nusaniwe District have been identified, and some have not been identified. This tourism object is always visited by the community and can generate income. The highest consumer surplus value is in the Tanjung Batu Konde Beach Tourist Attraction Object (ODTW), which is IDR. 208,355.00, and the lowest is at Sumber Jaya Beach, namely IDR. 12,545.50. The highest total economic value is in Tanjung Batu Konde, namely IDR. 352,033,800.00, and the lowest is also found at Sumber Jaya Beach, namely IDR. 8,480,758.00. Starting from the results of the calculations above, it can be concluded that if the tourism objects in Nusaniwe Sub district can be well developed, it is certain that each OTDW will be able to contribute to increasing income for the community around the tourist attraction as well as for the Village Government, State Government and even the City Government.

This research aims to identify key sectors that can serve as the economic driving force in Ambon city. The study utilized historical data, specifically time series data from the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in 2010 constant prices. The research methodology employed several techniques, including Location Quotient (LQ) analysis, Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) analysis, and Klassen Typology analysis, to assess the prominent sectors in Ambon city. Additionally, the Shift-Share Analysis (SSA) approach was used to estimate the impact of these leading sectors on the city's economic growth. The LQ analysis revealed the existence of ten leading sectors in Ambon city. Furthermore, the Klassen Typology analysis categorized these sectors into five developed, five stagnant, five developing, and two underdeveloped sectors. The SSA analysis indicated that four sectors had the highest share value in the province's share component, four sectors showed positive values in the proportional shift component, and eleven sectors exhibited positive values in the differential shift component. The cumulative effect of these three components illustrates the significant impact of these sectors on Ambon city's economic growth.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this study are: the impact of per capita income on the amount of savings in Indonesia; the influence of the Flower Tribes Rate (BI Rate) on the savings amount in Indonesia. And how per capita income, interest rates and inflation influence the amount of savings in Indonesia simultaneously. The data collected in this study is the time series data period from 1991 to 2020 as secondary data published by Bank Indonesia, Central Agency of Staitsitika. The analysis method used in this investigation is the Double Linear Regression Analysis Method which uses the IBM SPSS 25 program. The results obtained are that per capita income and inflation have a partial significant impact on public savings in Indonesia, while interest rates have no significant effect on public Savings. Inflation has contributed a huge drop in savings. If there is an increase in inflation, then it will have a huge impact on the ability of the people to save. Thus it may be suggested that efforts to control inflation should continue to preserve the purchasing power of the population and the ability of the people to save
